What a fantastic place! It had everything you could need and more. It was super cold while we were there so having a wood burning fire pit and a great hot tub was a huge plus! The location was ideal for us…not too high in the mountains, close to downtown Asheville but secluded enough to know you are in the mountains. Great trip, great place,⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Daniel's basement apartment in Asheville! From the moment I arrived, Daniel was a phenomenal host—warm, welcoming, and full of excellent recommendations for local spots to check out. His hospitality truly made my trip even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was spotless, extremely quiet, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. After a long day exploring Asheville, it was the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The space was well-appointed, and every little detail showed Daniel’s care and attention. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and cozy place to stay with a top-notch host, look no further. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Asheville. Highly recommend!

Pictures don’t do this space justice, it’s even better in person! Close to all the amenities of HVL but still has a very private, country feel as you’re staying on a couple of acres! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen stocked, the shower had great water pressure. Super clean, everything needed was there. Highly recommend & we will definitely stay again as we travel to HVL often.

It was a great time and a wonderful retreat to come back to after a few hours of hiking. The soaking tub was just the thing to help recuperate for the following day. The place was well kept and had everything we needed.

Melodie was really nice and we loved her farm! Her whole family was very nice and welcoming! The animals were so friendly! If I could change one thing it’d be the mattress in the master bedroom it’s pretty firm so I didn’t sleep much but it was okay.

Jessie's place was amazing and much more than we expected. My family of 15 stayed here for a week long Christmas holiday. We couldn't have asked for a better home to better host. The house accommodated us all extremely well, including three dogs (two of which were large surprises)and Jessie was not only proactive, but incredibly understanding of the mishaps and questions that come about when that many people are housed in one space for that long. We even cooked a large Christmas dinner in the fully and well stocked kitchen. The house felt secluded and it was great for late night fires. It even has a large fenced yard space for dogs. Even though it felt like a private retreat, we were close (5-15 minute drive, depending) to all that Asheville has to offer....restaurants, shops, breweries, hiking trails, etc. And if we got bored with any of that, the board games are well stocked and we were able to stream/watch just about anything on the multiple TVs . This place is now in our top 3!

Just a great experience at Chris' place...they provided everything we needed for an awesome stay! Planning on staying here again when we visit the area--hopefully it's available!!

Beautiful home! Accommodating to a large group! The location was very convenient, close to town but secluded enough. The amenities of the home were great, and it was very helpful all the little notes around! Great weekend here with friends! And the host was very responsive and very nice! Loved it!

Did I walk into an issue of Architectural Digest? Is this house as amazing as the photos? Absolutely! I was stunned by the craftsmanship and cabinetry and floored by, well, the flooring. Natural light floods the home during the day and the interior reflections of light and structural beams in the windows at night gives a nearly spiritual experience. The built-in cabinetry in the bedrooms is impressive. But open the upper cabinet door near the left kitchen pendant light if you want to be even more impressed. Steven’s house has a fully-stocked game room for families and guests. The bedrooms are comfortable, but note the “ceilings” are open. A clever design that compliments the overall space. Five stars isn’t enough to describe to welcoming home and extraordinary comfort it provides! The team is always accessible and, in our case, always willing to help. The manager and owner went above and beyond any Airbnb experience I’ve ever had! We will return again and again!

My girlfriends and I needed a weekend away and this was perfect!!! It was better than we imagined. I have stayed in lots of places, but this one was the BEST!!! It was amazing and Jim and Barbara are truly the most hospitable and kind hosts that a person could ever have. We want to go back to Asheville just to stay there again. I highly recommend!!!! Anything and everything you could want or need is there!!! You don’t even have to leave the house to have an amazing time!!!

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.
