Let me just say that this place is excellent, as are the hosts, Roger and Elizabeth. The house has three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom (each recently redone). The common area upstairs has plenty of seating, and the common area in the basement has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed. The house has two nice TVs, which allows for different folks to watch different shows. All of that is great, but the true treasure of the place is the view of Little Warrior Mountain. The sun rises over the mountain, and it's beautiful. The house has sturdy, comfortable Adirondack chairs for folks to enjoy the views. (We spent a lot of time out there.) It also has a hot tub, which was great on cold nights. I would also be remiss if I did not commend the hosts, who were super-responsive to questions, offered helpful local suggestions, and who were just plain kind. My whole crew highly recommends this home.

Perfect destination for our weekend getaway! The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and had the most beautiful views of the lake!

We had our family Thanksgiving a week early at Danielle's Hendersonville house with the idea that we'll choose a different location each year. I sincerely hope I can convince everyone to come back again next year, and stay a day longer next time!

We came here for a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. BEAUTIFUL location, home and backyard. The river just runs right behind the home and sounds and looks beautiful. Loved the home and quirkiness. Very clean as well. The river was so peaceful to listen to off the porch or in the hot tub. Would 100/10 recommend this home.

We would absolutely stay here again it was 10/10! The pictures speak for themselves, the views were unmatchable! We loved the fire pit on the front porch and hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the downstairs closet had plenty of space. We did not use the upstairs although it had a super nice office space and good closet space too in both bedrooms. The terrain is a little rough getting there, but we did fine in my Subaru outback! It was super peaceful and the extra acreage was super nice for our dog. Adam and Katie would respond very quickly and were super helpful, the place even has a great guide book with local recommendations. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay close enough to the fun things in Asheville!

Really nice space!

We had a great stay at the container. It was cold and wet so we could not enjoy the patio but I can imagine when the weather is nice it would be a great place!

Cheryl was an excellent host and her home is lovely. We were incredibly comfortable there. We especially liked having three distinct bedroom areas which gave everyone some privacy while staying together on vacation. It was a great home base for us as we visited family nearby and for a day trip to Asheville. We'd love to come back again!

A warm, inviting stay in a great location that provides access and privacy. The home was clean, clutter free and prepared for a relaxing stay. The home is full of quality and it is easy to tell it has been well cared for by an invested host. Definitely on the short list of places I’d go back for another stay.

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the serene surroundings. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it a perfect retreat. The driveway was steep, as noted in the listing, but it was manageable with some caution. There is another small cabin on the property, but it didn’t impact our stay—it still felt private and peaceful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Casey’s place was perfect to heal us after a traumatic time in life. We got to enjoy a great restaurant just a short drive down the hill, steam and dry sauna, indoor pool and spa. All for the price of staying here. It really was a blessing in the form of a truly last minute booking. It was a private and serene location— with the comfiest bed. Thank you so much.

Beautiful home on an outstanding lake, perfect for completely decompressing and enjoying family. The house is nicely appointed, and we had everything that we needed. There is Wi-Fi at the house, but cell service is spotty, which we knew going in. It is a steep walk up/ down to the lake and so it may be hard for the elderly, and in contrast is also a great workout! Loved the water toys that my family took full advantage of. Easy location to get to Lake Lure and not too far from Asheville. Even saw a bald eagle fly over on the first evening.

We LOVED the cabin! It was perfect! We only wish we had booked for longer & would definitely book it again!

Cabin was well furnished and appointed. Host was helpful, proactively provided all necessary information and was prompt in response to all inquiries. All in all, rental was fantastic

Where to begin! The stone cottage was the perfect destination for our weekend getaway. The house was even cuter than in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful antique furniture, decorations, amount of space, appliances, bathroom fixtures and comfortable beds. We spent our trip enjoying every space of the cottage, from sunbathing in the yard, relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying lunch on the deck with a view, and gathering around the dining table for games and dinner. Kay was extremely kind, responsive, and accommodating. Our entire weekend was filled with comments planning our next trip to the cottage and hopes to come back in the spring to see the beautiful nature and enjoy a nearby winery.

Micheal was an amazing host! He was very proactive and responsive to anything and everything we needed. Not to mention he was very generous and really prided himself on making our stay perfect! I couldn’t ask for anything more. The cabin is beautiful with so much land. It was just what we needed to get away as a family.

It was very beautiful and peaceful. The cabin looked just like the pictures. The host had pretty much everything you would need already there. The cabin was spacious and cozy. I absolutely loved it and will be coming back.

This truly was a cozy and cheerful cabin snugly secluded in the mountains! What a delightful stay in this quaint, restful, and homey place! The hot tub under the stars was a hit for us after exploring Biltmore and local areas/scenes! William was a helpful host, and thought of everything necessary to host us for a weekend getaway for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday trip! Lovely time and special cabin!
