We had such a nice Christmas stay with a handful of adults and kids. The property and view is pretty, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. This was a great spot for young kids since it is free of clutter and has an additional family room in the basement they could run around and watch TV in. Would love to return in the summer to experience the river and outdoor space.

This farm was absolutely amazing. We loved everything about it including stepping back in time with the decor and the free range chickens and bunny. Every bedroom was comfortable, house was clean and fully stocked. I was hiking the Ice Age Trail and it’s right off the trail. Highly recommend!

A fantastic location for ski trips to Wild Mt or Trollhaugen. Host is prompt in responses. We’ll be back!

Just beautiful and cozy. Felt right at home and comfortable in this gorgeous house. Was bigger than expected. Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to make a meal. Beds were really comfortable. My kids loved the bunk and arcade games. Would love to come backs in the summer.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was great and the location was so beautiful. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend. The only thing you should know before going is to bring your own water for cooking and drinking because the tap/well water there had a very unappetizing smell.

Elena's place was fantastic. It is located a very quiet street right on the Apple River. The views of the river are absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed kayaking on the river and just taking in the scenery. There's also a great fire pit right next to the river. Inside the house was nicely decorated, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. There is also a great office in a secluded spot behind the laundry room with a monitor available to use. Good wifi signal made it possible to get some work done at night. Would love to come back some day.

We had such a great time. The house is just so beautiful. I am very particular about smells, so the first thing I noticed was... " It smells so clean!!!!". Everything is so organized. They have little beautiful tags on the kitchen. You can quickly find anything you might need. The shampoo and soap amenities were a super nice touch. We played games (provided by the host) and we listened to records (that was an amazing experience). I fell in love with the dining room chandelier and the little details all over the place. The tub!!! Oh my God that tub is so beautiful! The built-ins !, the windows! They have several lounging areas, my favorite one was the area in the main room. They provide cozy blankets!!!! It was so much fun to have a glass of wine and cover ourselves with fluffy blankets. I was there for only a few days but it felt like a long vacation. The rooms are spacious, the closets are big. I am definitely coming back in the summer. I can't wait to come back!

Nice secluded stay near a pond. Very quiet place to sit out by the fire and relax!

The Little Yellow House was very comfortable. We felt right at home! We brought bikes and found a bike trail in Siren. This is the closest town to get groceries or go to restaurants. It’s important to bring snacks and your ingredients to prepare meals; there is no grocery stores nearby. Overall, our stay was very pleasant!

LOVED this stay! My husband & I were looking for a rustic, quiet, lakeside cabin that could also accommodate our 2 dogs with pretty scenery to get away for a weekend from the daily grind. BEAUTIFUL scenery. LOVED the amenities for our 2 fur-babies. LOVED the fenced in yard. Amanda communicated well & was very responsive. SO Quiet. Just what my husband & I needed. Kitchen is well stocked. We stayed-in All day Saturday & cooked our meals there. Very close to local lakes & quaint gas station/convenience store. There were a couple of things missing, BUT Amanda communicated those things & they were not things that impaired our stay. We have unlimited Hot-Spot service that easily connected to both of the nice flat screen TV’s, but we were not there for the TV time, we were looking for a quiet place on a lake & that’s exactly what we got. We look forward to coming back with our 2 teenagers during the warmer months! Thank you, Amanda for the cozy stay and the Delicious bottle of wine!

Great location and very nice place

This was our 3rd time back to the cabin. We fell in love with it the first time and have made it a yearly destination. It's a perfect getaway for some connection with nature. The cabin is always so nice and comfortable. Jacquelyn is always super helpful and kind. We will be back for sure!

The space was exactly as described. The hot tub was a HUGE benefit! Maryjo had great communication anytime we needed anything.

I will definitely be back! Hostess Stephanie was very easy to reach when a blizzard hit one night, thank you again for helping me navigate this! I can't think of a better place to get snowed in.

This very beautifully built cabin was such a great experience for our group for a nice winter stay and to get away and relax as a family for 4 nights. We cooked amazing meals and relaxed on the couches watching movies and hanging out by the fireplace. We brought ice skates and shoveled a little ice skating area off of the frozen lake and got to see some amazing night skies filled with stars on a few nights. Highly recommend a stay here and only 90 minutes from Minneapolis!

We loved our stay here! Stephanie is a fantastic host - she was very quick to respond to any questions I had and she gave very clear instructions for check in and check out. The place is AMAZING! The hammocks, the hot tub, the sauna, the three season porch, the game room… 10/10. We would love to return someday! Thanks Stephanie!
