Super cute place! Exactly as described. Loved how private the property feels. We were there with our kids but it would make a great romantic getaway. The kitchen is very well stocked. Loved that they had electric blankets because it definitely gets cold at night in Volcano. This place is a great location if you're looking for somewhere near the Volcano National Park.

A Nice cozy place with good views

What an amazing stay in Volcano village, cannot recommend this place enough! The location is prefect, right next to the park, but very private surrounded by nature. I understand why they call it the singing forest with all the birds! The house is in top condition, beautiful interior, spotlessly clean, all the things you need for a relaxing laid back stay. Hot tub was lovely after a long day walking in the park, as was the fire place for the cooler evenings. Would absolutely book again, thank you so much for the stay

Everything about our stay was better than expected. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived quite a bit later than expected, but Todd met us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the cabin. It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furnishings, and we loved eating breakfast outside on the back porch, watching the pheasants in the grass. Todd and Olivia made a special point of letting us know when the volcano began erupting, so we didn't miss it. It was amazing to get to see that in person.

Brenda’s cottage was absolutely stellar. Well equipped, cozy, and clean. Our trip happened to coincide with the 14th episode of the Kīlauea eruption and we couldn’t have been more thrilled! The cottage is less than a 10 min drive from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park so we were able to access it at a moments notice. After long days of hiking and being in absolute awe, we warmed ourselves by the fireplace and rested our weary bones in the hot tub. Waking up to the sounds of the forest and verdant colors was downright whimsical. We CANNOY wait to return! Mahalo for the trip of a lifetime!

The perfect spot to start off my now husband and Is wedding/honeymoon week. The spot is absolutely perfect and the view waking up was unbelievable. When a local hair/makeup artist came out to do my bridal look she said it was the best airbnb view she’s ever seen in the area. David was super responsive and helpful if anything was ever needed and we happen to run into David and Dawn a couple times and they were both just lovely people. Thank for sharing your spot!

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

Die Unterkunft entsprach den Fotos und der Beschreibung - groß und geräumig, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sie befand sich etwas weiter weg von der Hauptstraße und vom Geschehen. Dafür ist ein toller Strand nur 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Der Check-in war einfach und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt!

Grand merci à la famille de Felila qui a rendu notre séjour agréable et a toujours fait plus que ce qu'on attendait. c'était en tout cas spécial pour nous car nous nous sommes senti vraiment en famille et avant partagé de très beaux moments. Merci encore une fois.

Great stay here in beautiful Rarotonga. House was perfect for our needs with 7 adults and one toddler. Walk to the lagoon is literally 3 minutes and is perfect for young kids. The surrounds and gardens were also peaceful and private. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Highly recommend for a larger group.

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Definitely a great place in Wailuku close to everything and lots of great restaurants and cafes close by. Rooms were perfect with AC if needed, layout is good and instructions to getting inside was easy. Will stay here again when coming to visit Maui!

Nice little unit hidden away from the street, it is gated so you are sharing a nice and yard with two other units. The place is true to the picture and well maintained, we enjoyed our stay. One thing though frogs are a bit loud at night especially from the main bedroom. Nothing the owner can do about it as it what nature offers, but if you are a light sleeper or not used to it maybe bring an earplug.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

The rental was perfect for us! We are a couple that did not get a rental car during our stay in Kauai and were able to walk to many places and great food nearby. The shops nearby had everything we needed and we ended up making it to the farmer's market there as well. it was so nice to cook breakfast/make coffee at the rental and enjoy it on the peaceful patio. We loved the open air options and were able to go without air conditioning most of the time and just enjoy the open breeze in our rental. The air conditioning unit was plenty sufficient when we felt we did need it though. To top an already great stay off, the host allowed us a late checkout which gave us time to enjoy the beautiful island a little more before departing.

This was an excellent launching point for me on the island. Easy access to hiking in any direction, about an hour to Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Park, and an hour and a half to the Napali Coast, which I highly recommend visiting all. Beautiful hiking. Also cloae by to wonderful beaches, havijg snorkel gear and chairs with umbrella right at the rental was a juge plus. Would love to return one day!

This cottage in Volcano Village was soo cozy and beautiful! Staying here gave us quick access to the Hawaiian Volcano National Park (only about 15 min drive). The hosts gave us plenty of supplies for anything we needed. We had a bit of an issue with plumbing, but Aubrey was quick and got it taken care of efficiently. We would love to come back in the future 😊

The coffee cottage is the perfect get away location The cottage is immaculate and everything is clean and comfortable. The view from the porch is amazing and a great place to watch the sunset. Mary was easy to communicate with and very helpful with local places to eat and beautiful beaches to relax at.

Great place for exploring Maui, especially if you want to get away from the resorts and enjoy a cute Hawaiian town and upcountry. Margit’s place has everything you need (full kitchen, lanai, beach towels, w/d, filtered water….). Her cottage is well taken care of and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Top notch.

I live nearby and when I have family or friends coming to stay, this is my top choice for them. It has the feeling of being in a jungle, and each person has their own bungalow that is very nicely appointed with a kitchenette, nice bathroom and cute decor. It is also walkable to Kalani for morning coffee or snacks and anything happening at the Kalani Retreat center like ecstatic dance, yoga, etc. You definitely want to have a car while staying here as the beaches and things along the Red Road are best accessed by car. It's a very peaceful place it has a dramatic long entry that feels like you're going deep into the jungle. Bery fun for new visitors! And the host does a fabulous job of maintaining the units and communicating details.

Beautiful, clean house with a beachy feel. Kids loved the abundant green geckos, spacious yard with tons of birds, and a cute little window seat. We loved the clean house/beds, great windows, well stocked kitchen, peaceful nature sounds and perfect temperature for sleeping. Near a beautiful part of the coast for crashing waves and scenery, and good proximity to volcanoes national park and popular waterfalls. Centrally located but did still feel like we did a fair bit of driving (it’s a big island!) Really enjoyed our stay, and Suzy was super quick to respond to any questions, and genuinely seemed to want us to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of Hawaii. Mahalo!

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s. The apartment is very cute and clean, and it’s in a great location to enjoy Kihei. Just a few minutes driving from all the restaurants and beaches. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet and we woke up every morning with the sounds of birds singing.
