The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

What a magical place. We stayed 5 nights here with a family of 5 and absolutely loved it. The house is right by the sea, with a small private beach and its own small pier. The kids loved being in the water and spent hours snorkelling and looking at the fish at the end of the pier, or paddling out on the kayaks provided to the shallow white sands and coral to snorkel. The house itself is beautifully designed, and has a lovely shaded deck. We spent hours reading out there and gazing out at the stunning lagoon in front of us and mountains behind - it all looked like a postcard. The location is great with a small supermarket (useful as eating out is expensive) and a few shops / cafes on Maharepa only 200m away. Heifara was a wonderful host. He immediately made us feel at home, like one of the family. Had lots of useful local recommendations like restaurants, or the Tiki Parc Zip Lines and the Magic Mountain hike. In summary, amazing magical place. Thanks Heifara!

We had an Amazing stay at Matatui villas. The villas had all you could need, were clean spacious and comfortable. The location is amazing, a great beach and not far from restaurants and a supermarket. Ash personally was so great with her communication and went out of her way to help us hire kayaks and scooters we needed for the trip. Thanks again Ash, we will be back.

We had a truly amazing time at Patricia and Teiki’s home. It is pristine and located right on the beach in front of the famous wave. We enjoyed kayaking, walking to the neighborhood restaurant, riding bikes to the market, fishing, and taking a taxi out to see the wave. Teiki was particularly helpful with us navigating a late check out. Traveling internationally with young kids is challenging and he made the end of our trip so much easier. Would recommend without reservation!

Séjour merveilleux à 4 adultes. On y a passé 11 jours mémorables avec l'impression d'être dehors en permanence tant il y a de fenêtres. De la vue à couper le souffle jusqu'à la cueillette de fruits dans le terrain (on a même pousser la chose jusqu'à faire notre propre chocolat), en passant par la proximité des plages, on a apprécié l'impression d'isolement qu'on avait au milieu des arbres.

Overall great stay and Brandon was very nice and responsive. The access to the private athletic club was nice to get a workout in (gym, basketball, pickleball) / go in the pool. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful too. I thought the place would be a little bigger based on the pictures but not a big deal. Was central to poipu and great if you want to be in the south but I’d likely consider east and north area for my next visit as it’s closer to more things. Not a knock of the property but just FYI for new Kauai visitors. Appreciate the hospitality Brandon!

This is the 4th time we have stayed on Tea’s property. Her daughter has a rental on the property as well. We have been to Tahiti many times and by far this is the best place to stay. Tea has the best beach in all of Tahiti. It is a nice white, warm, sandy private beach, and it is just steps away from the home. It is the best location on the island. Tea is such a great host. After getting off the plane at 8PM most stores are closed in Tahiti. Tea had her fridge stocked with fresh fruits, fish, drinks, and breads. This at no additional cost to us. Her house is a traditional Tahitian style open air home and is so fun to stay in. She has a deck that the guests can sit on a just relax and watch the ocean. Whenever we go to Tahiti we check first to see if Tea’s property is available. We will switch our dates around to make sure we can stay there. It books up fast. Thank you Tea you are a generous host, we can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay at Lucky’s. We had just come from Neiafu where we’d been for a few days and this was such a lovely change of pace. Totally remote, right on the beach, cute wee house - so peaceful. Kurt was really helpful and friendly throughout our stay (and in advance) as well, and helped us book our taxi to Lucky’s and then to the airport at the end of the stay. As mentioned in the listing there is no WiFi, and we also missed the note about digicel reception being bad so we had almost no service while we were there. That was fine with us but just something to note. Bring insect repellent too as, being right on the water, there are mosquitos around.

I had a very relaxing stay at Raiponi’s place - the whole area has a friendly, laid-back vibe. After three months of travelling, I was ready for some down time which I found amongst the papaya and banana trees, beautiful flowering plants, cats and lagoon. Note that the bungalow is not sealed and the air conditioning is from the breeze that flows down from the mountain side - so if you’re in to rustic luxury, this is the place! Raiponi is super friendly and respectful. As a solo traveller I appreciated knowing he was available if I needed anything as the location is remote. I’d be honoured to visit there again!

Hinano is a wonderful Host. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was perfect. She made sure we were comfortable and aware of local spots. I cannot speak highly enough about our experience. We can't wait to return next year. Thank you so much!

Perfect place for our extended family to be together and have space for privacy over the Christmas holidays. Monique surprised us with Christmas decorations, creating a festive mood. We were even greeted with lei’s when we arrived!

Mary’s home was perfect for our family of four. We have two young children and Anini beach was perfect! Just across the street is an access path to the beach. Soft sand with crystal clear calm shallow water, perfect for snorkeling and just splashing around. We even saw a sea turtle. The house is much better then the pictures, beautiful plantation style interior with a screened in dining area and lani to enjoy the morning sun. Our kids loved the out door shower and all beach equipment supplied at the house. My one comment is that it can be loud at night with roosters and cars passing by. If you bring ear plugs you’ll be fine. We can’t wait to come back.

Gorgeous setting. The rolling door that opened the kitchen to the porch made the space breathtaking. Walking on the beach to the Tiki Village and the sunsets were a highlight of the trip. An abundance of fish with Snorkeling right off the shore and kayaking was fantastic.

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de la propriété de Maea. Le logement est tout a fait fonctionnel, tout est impeccable et correspond en tous points à l'offre. Il donne sur une plage privée où il est possible d'aller directement nager avec poissons, raies et compagnie... Maea est une hôte MAGIQUE !!!, c'est notre coup de coeur de notre voyage en Polynésie. Disponibilité, réactivité et bien d'autres choses que nous avons pu partager ensemble nous laissent un excellent souvenir Encore merci pour tout tes précieux conseils et de nous avoir acceuillis.

Très belle cabane conforme à la description, cuisine bien équipée, très propre et literie confortable. Cadre idéal, accès direct au magnifique lagon où les raies viennent vous chatouiller les pieds ! Avec les kayak mis à disposition on peut se rapprocher du récif et profiter des coraux & poissons multicolores avec masque et tuba. Tiki village à quelques mètres, épicerie et roulotte (très bon et très copieux) à 600 mètres. Enfin, Joëlle et sa famille sont super, bienveillant et soucieux de ton bien être durant le séjour : de bons conseils et s'assurent qu'il ne te manque rien. Au top !

Such a beautiful view to wake up to every morning from this bungalow. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the location because it was close to a lot of the activities I was wanting to do. I felt very safe and had my privacy in my own bungalow. Sonny was great with communication and I also appreciated the flexibility in allowing me to check out a little later for my flight. I love Rarotonga! I’ll be back and will definitely recommend to my family and friends back here in NZ.

This is an incredible home and property. Our kids loved the chickens and bunnies and we loved the gorgeous decor and tranquil setting. Louise was an outstanding host - going out of her way to assist us with our reservation at the last. What a gem of a person and a place!
