This space was very cool with amazing views of the ocean. The space was very clean. We ran out of propane for the hot water and the host replied immediately and replaced the empty tanks without hesitation, very attentive and reachable. It was a pleasure staying here. I recommend this space to anyone visiting the big island!

Stunning cottage in a picturesque spot on the Kona coast. Everything was as described and more! The cottage has all the odds and ends that home would have (i.e. Tupperware to hold your freshly cut pineapple, a clothesline and clothespins to hang your wet beachwear, solar lights that light up all pathways at night) and makes vacation so much more enjoyable. My wife and I loved the fantastic snorkeling just minutes away each morning, reading in the mango hut, and soaking in the amazing views. Harry was a wonderful host and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience visiting the Big Island and his cottage. Can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely place to stay. Gorgeous location. Adored the beach across the road and didn't have any trouble with the descent to down the hill, took in slowly. Very friendly people in the area. Appreciated the AC.

We loved our time at the Gingerbread House. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with incredible old trees surrounding the cabin. We enjoyed eating jackfruit & lemons from the property & walking in the labyrinth. Eve was a wonderful host. Roosters greeted us early each morning, we were prepared by going to bed early. A real gem & a special place to stay for nature lovers, highly recommend. Thank you, Eve!

The house in Volcano was just what my husband and I needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is easy to find, and very close to the National Park. Be prepared to either pick up groceries in Hilo and cook at the house, or be aware of the changing times of the local food trucks. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay!

Randall’s place is in the most beautiful surroundings. The accommodations were very spacious and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Our host was very friendly and provided great information for the area. It was a wonderful experience.

Dawn’s Kai Honu was just what we wanted: away from crowds, in nature, true local lifestyle. She was great at communicating and was very kind. We would absolutely stay there again! Thanks Dawn! See you next time.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. We appreciated the private patio space. This home is in a convenient location for easy walking to restaurants and shops in central Paia. It was hard to leave!

La cabane était très mignonne et fidèle à l’annonce. La douche extérieure était un gros plus pour nous, c’est très charmant ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour ici. Et le +, les animaux de compagnie, les deux chats, et le petit chien qui venaient tous les soirs et tous les matins nous dire bonjour et demander des câlins ! Ils vont nous manquer… Merci encore !

The place is beautiful! It feels like it's out of a dream. The views from the balcony at night up at the stars are breathetaking! The drive up through the country side was amazing. You really get to see a different side of Maui. The host was quick to respond, very friendly, and made us feel more than welcome. The way we were greeted upon arrival couldn't have been any better. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Mark and Mina's Kona studio. they sent us good, clear instructions and it was easy to come and go. They live on a 4 mile walking path, with nice views of the ocean. They supplied us with beach chairs, sun umbrella, boogie boards, snorkelling etc. Mark gave us some good suggestions for local restaurants and beaches. The studio is very clean, has 2 different types of coffee makers and a sweet little lanai with gorgeous sunset views. And the bed was very comfortable! we highly recommend this place.

I knew this place would be nice from the listing but this place was even better. It’s super close to the national park, the beautiful deck with an awesome fire pit and hot tub was fantastic. The provided breakfast was great and the host was super accommodating for allergies and our early mornings. They went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed!

This accommodation was absolutely amazing for a couple looking to enjoy a private romantic getaway. In terms of location we loved that the location is high in the mountains. A lot of the time we would leave the heat at the beach and enter the clouds where the temperature would be 10-20 degrees cooler. The view is incredible overlooking the ocean from high above. The physical location was spotless and well thought out. Plenty of linens and all necessary cooking amenities. Having a heater at night was handy as it does cool off a little being so high up. The host was super responsive and always answered within 20 minutes (usually faster). She also provided a long list of recommendations and we loved how she had snorkel gear, chairs, and cooler available for use. Couldn’t recommend enough and when we come back, will definitely stay a second time :)

This place was perfect for our short stay on the big island! It was a very spacious studio and had everything we needed. Aki was such a friendly host and we would love to return in the future!

I was one the most beautiful experience to be surrounded by nature. It’s feels like living outdoors under open sky in Big Island, Hawaii where the weather always warm. The carbine was clean and cozy, amenities outdoor type. The host leaves next door was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying there with Ocean view under my feet during the day and sky full of stars above my head during the night. Mahalo everyone 🌺

We loved the location up on the lush green hillside with views of the ocean and sunsets to the west. Nice and cool for sleeping after the hotter temperatures and sun on the beach. Well stocked and nicely laid out for a family of 4. (even had a blender for smoothies, coffee grinder, first aid kit, and some left behind spices and toiletries from previous guests. Unfortunately no boogie boards, but lots of snorkeling equipment if you forgot yours). The coqui frogs added to the magic for us- you will feel like you’re in a tropical jungle, but if you like absolute silence bring ear plugs. Mahalo!

We had a great stay! Nicole was a welcoming host. We enjoyed this side of the island and the relaxing environment.

We chosed Jenny's lovely, cozy accommodation for our first few days on Maui because it is located in a private, quiet residential area and you can relax really quickly here. We particularly liked the terraces and the garden with the many seating areas; you can enjoy the morning or evening there wonderfully. The cottage has everything you need, a very comfortable bed, plenty of storage space even for longer stays and the kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom with the really large shower and large vanity was perfect. And after strenuous hikes, the whirlpool offers great relaxation. The beach, restaurants, food trucks and a food land are just a few minutes' walk away. Many thanks to Jenny for the great tips and the warm communication. We fully agree with the many recommendations from the other guests and hope to be able to come back one day!

This place is exactly as pictured, if not better. It was easy to find, there were guests in the lower apartment that were very friendly and quiet, we barely knew they were there. We had a slight issue with the patio doors locking on us and Debbie their local rep came by within minutes to help us! (close them gently). The place was incredibly clean and cozy, the bed is comfortable and the chocolates, coffee and welcome Prosecco were very nice touches. We will miss waking up to the beautiful views and the sounds of the birds chirping. The rooftop deck was perfect for mid-day tanning and night-time star gazing (the stars were insane). 
We did visit the nearby black sand beach, it was pretty but personally a bit too much nudity for us (haha) but if that’s your jam then it's worth checking out. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and nice to walk around in. In the future, adding a small cool-off pool would be amazing to beat the heat. We would love to come back! Thanks Jenn and Kristian.

Très belle cabane conforme à la description, cuisine bien équipée, très propre et literie confortable. Cadre idéal, accès direct au magnifique lagon où les raies viennent vous chatouiller les pieds ! Avec les kayak mis à disposition on peut se rapprocher du récif et profiter des coraux & poissons multicolores avec masque et tuba. Tiki village à quelques mètres, épicerie et roulotte (très bon et très copieux) à 600 mètres. Enfin, Joëlle et sa famille sont super, bienveillant et soucieux de ton bien être durant le séjour : de bons conseils et s'assurent qu'il ne te manque rien. Au top !

We felt like we had been looking for this kind of private treehouse adventure forever! Hospitable to the max - had a hot water issue and they were on top of it immediately!

Cadre incroyable, lever de soleil sur Tahiti le matin, zone de snorkeling juste en face du bungalow avec kayak disponible pour y accéder. La douche est extérieure mais il y a de l'eau chaude, la salle de bain est couverte et propre. Logement très agréable dans l'ensemble ! Les hôtes ont été arrangeants pour nous garder nos affaires en dehors des horaires de la réservation.

We had an amazing time at this spot! The hosts were kind and provided local recommendations and made you feel right at home. When a problem arose Claire was quick to respond and work out a solution. Overall great place and would stay again!
