Thank you Virginia. Your place was perfect to stay in for our class reunion weekend. Beautiful and clean with plenty of space. Thank you for the cheese and crackers. Will definitely come back again.

Our party of three stayed two nights in this property, and it worked out fine. We wanted a place to stay somewhere along the Southern Scenic Route between Invercargill and Dunedin so as not to rush the trip - sort of break up the trip into two segments in order to accomodate the tides at Cathedral Caves. We used the house as a base to explore East of Cathedral Caves: Jack's Blowhole, Surat Beach, Nugget Point lighthouse, and Roaring Bay Penguin Observatory. The house has a great view and the gardens are lovely. It's really peaceful at night. The house was clean, and the clear instructions for working the gas stove were great. Communications with the hosts were fine. We very much enjoyed our time in this home.

This place has such a beautiful location and mountain backdrop. We only stopped in for a night on our road trip but it was a perfect relaxing night. Kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook, outdoor tub for a nice hot soak, and a comfortable bed for us to sleep in. We only needed the one bed but there is a ton of extra bedrooms and a lot of space for a family to stay comfortably.

The photos do not fully reflect how bright and cheerful, clean and up-to-date the cottage is. Duncan was incredibly responsive and justifiably proud of what he did in renovating/remodeling this home. Clean, bright, quiet - perfect for my wife's and my enjoyment. Out the window are sheep, cows, seagulls, and rabbits (despised by farmers, but appealing to us tourists.) Duncan made me a map of dozens of prime fishing spots in advance, offered advice quickly whenever asked, and simply could not have been a better host. We've already reserved for next year!

Cosy dwelling with colourful interior design. Great location near beach. The wood burner is brilliant for chilly evenings. We had a great time.

A perfect place to stay for both the Southern Cross hospital and Queens Park. Also walkable to town and in a quiet residential area. Very well equipped with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and comfy sofa. Lee was extremely helpful and responsive in letting us extend for an extra night too. We'd happily stay here again if returning to Invercargill.

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay and has everything you need to feel right at home. Great location near the beach and local shops. Easy to get into town. Thank you for such a great stay.

This is a tidy and peaceful spot to relax and explore the Catlins. It’s close to Owaka and only a short drive to many of the sights. Our young children especially felt at home with the toys. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck and stargazing on a clear night. Highly recommend and would stay again!

What a beautiful unit. So well thought out and equipped, with a fabulously comfortable bed and lovely linen. Lisa was super helpful all the time - can’t wait to come back!
