This place is truly the house on a hill with a spectacular view of Kapiti that changes constantly though out the day. The house is filled with light and sun a very easy modern house that suited our large family group with enough space for everyone with inside outside flow and a great kitchen which we all used to cook together in.The day trips were easy from here and the trip into wellington was perfect with the highway. The house had everything that made our trip easy and relaxed. Since being home we have all missed the magic view.

My children and I have been to stay here a few times now, and it's always a great experience. Cathy is very welcoming, and a great communicator. Plus, there is plenty of space, a well provisioned kitchen, comfortable beds, and we love that Mana Beach and the Camborne Walkway are right on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

A beautiful place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but convenient to everything including shops, places to see and events centre. Couldn't be more helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and welcoming plus everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. Parking was a breeze. Highly recommended and I hope to stay again.

My husband and I had an excellent month-long stay at Julie's apartment. The neighborhood is quiet, in a beautiful, peaceful area of Wellington, close to my daughter's house. The village of Khandallah is just a five-minute walk from the apartment and has a few small shops, a supermarket, and restaurants. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, safe, quiet, and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, the living room and the bathroom are spacious, and the Wi-Fi is fast. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook comfortably. Julie is an excellent host, friendly and quick to answer any questions. I highly recommend Cashmere Retreat if you are visiting Wellington!

We had an enjoyable stay here. It's in a pretty neighbourhood, which is nice and close to Wellington for sightseeing. Janice and Phil were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the big selection of breakfast items and the cookies. The unit has all the amenities for a comfortable stay and a peaceful night's rest.

A five-star location indeed! We didn't have a car but being based right on the Terrace meant we could walk to most attractions. Laurice was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in which was really helpful. Highly recommended!

A fabulous location close to city ferry, beaches and bush walks. Also easy walks to cafes and shops. We loved the privacy, the fenced courtyard so our dog was safe and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the washing machine as we were there for a more extended stay, everything we needed to make simple meals, and space to work as well as relax. We highly recommend and will be back ourselves!

But what really sets this place apart is Lynette and Mike themselves.Even before our trip began, Lynette went out of her way to offer helpful travel tips, answering our questions and making sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. She even encouraged us to reach out during our stay if we needed ideas for the rest of our trip. Their generosity didn’t stop there—when we unfortunately had a car accident on our first day, they went above and beyond to help. They spent the day assisting us with getting a new rental car and offering genuine care and support. It was far more than we ever could have expected, and we are deeply grateful.This Airbnb was already perfect for our needs, but Lynette and Mike made it even more special.

Myself and my two friends had a wonderful stay in this AirBnb. Adam was the perfect host! He was always very responsive and helpful if we ever needed anything. He was also very accomodating and flexible with check in, which we are very grateful for. The location is fantastic, situated close to local amenities and public transport. The apartment itself is spacious and cosy with spectacular views of the city! It is fully equipped with everything we needed for the perfect stay. We cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! 😊

Loved Wayne’s place. He really thought of everything from the washer and dryer and providing laundry detergent to all the kitchen equipment and lovely breakfast. Eating at the table was surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees-so peaceful! I especially loved that he offered to bring us coffee in the morning-so thoughtful and much better than instant!! We had so much room and so many places to relax in comfortable chairs and couches. I only wish we could have stayed there longer!

Very clean and easy one night stop. Alvero was clear in the check in instructions. Room was well presented, lots of light. Bed was quite firm but I slept well despite Wellington gale winds, the double glazing kept it cozy! Clean bathroom. Quick chat with Alvero who was very nice. 30 min walk from CBD or 10 mins on frequent bus route, stop right outside. Felt safe for solo female traveller.

We had a pleasant stay. with our two children. not far from Johnsonville shops. and easy to get on motorway into the city.

Kate's place was a perfect base for me while I was working in the Hutt over a few days. A lovely, clean space, comfy bed, good shower pressure and everything you need to cook a simple meal, but also within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend!
