I had an amazing stay on Lorne. This place was right near everything on the main road. It is a perfect, intimate stay to recover after exploring the town.

Sue & Evan's property was perfect for us. It's so bright and airy, immaculately clean and tidy and so well positioned in the Great Ocean Road area. We were able to go off sight seeing up and down the coast each day as all of the major attractions are so close by and then return for some relaxation out on the spacious deck. This property is well described in the listing and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed BBQing on the deck, a welcome change from weeks of restaurants. Sue was always very responsive to any question we had. She and Evan live in the upstairs unit but you wouldn't know it as the unit we were in was very private and quiet. We enjoyed our week there immensely and are very grateful for the kind and welcoming hospitality. We highly recommend this property. Thank you!

We contacted Sander very much last minute on our way down the Great Ocean Rd. and he was able to immediately get the place ready for us which were very grateful for. Excellent, friendly communication and the house is simple, homely, unpretentious comfy little shack away from the noise of the Great Ocean Rd. (but not the ocean) and with a fantastic private backyard absolutely alive with bird life. And Skenes Creek of course is a fantastic quiet stop just shy of the busy-ness of Apollo Bay. Would recommend!!!

Life's a beach is a beautifully presented home with all the amenities you could want. Ideally located 5 minutes from a gorgeous safe beach and a 5 minute drive to shops, cafes and restaurants, the property is truly a gem. We enjoyed barbecues on the deck, spotting black cockatoos and waking up to the sound of gentle waves on the beach. Heaven! Rachelle was easy to communicate with and we found her instructions to be clear and straightforward.

The place was super clean and it is better than the pictures. The location is super beautiful as well. Theres a beautiful beach right when you cross the roads. Shops are about 5 mins as welll. Loved it x

A beautiful spot for a family holiday. My kids loved being able to wake up and see the waves from the front room window. There were 9 of us that stayed and all felt very comfortable. Instructions were simple and had easy access to everything. Local town was an nice 20 min stroll. Local Thai take-away was amazing. We all slept well! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

I stayed for a couple of nights by myself for a much needed, relaxing break. Michaela's place was perfect for this...although it is small, it is peaceful and inviting and had everything I needed. The bed / pillows are super comfy and the courtyard makes it feel fresh and open. I only booked VERY last minute and Michaela responded promptly. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Alicia's place. It had everything we needed, was in a great location, and Alicia was very responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Lorne, only downside is that the Lorne Hotel plays loud music at the weekend so might need to pack some earplugs but we managed ok staying on a Friday and Saturday night. Wonderful views from the deck on the 3rd floor, looking at the cockatoo’s in the trees looking for their next feed. Would happily return and have no hesitation in recommending Ronda and her apartment in Lorne. Loved it.

A great find, walk everywhere once moved in. At probably the most popular week of the year this was still nice & private in a very central location. Our host Sonya was very responsive to any queries. I would both stay here again & recommend this Apartment.

We really had a gr8 time there. Place was close to the beach and nice surroundings with big back lawn with lots of toys for kids to play with. Highly recommend this place.
