We enjoyed staying in David’s wonderful home with huge window walls with the beautiful view of the water. It was nice that the bedrooms were downstairs, which made it easy to unpack and gave us the second floor view. The mattresses are firm, which David does describe in his listing. The bedrooms do not have A/C (only the second floor). We were fine because we had nice breezes and cooler nights, but on a very hot day, we would’ve had trouble sleeping. Overall, we would highly recommend this home!

The place is just perfect, finished to a super high standard and just a perfect location and layout.

Kayleen’s home is beautiful, spacious, cozy, and full with thoughtful touches. We especially loved the garden, which can be seen from the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen. Kayleen is so kind and friendly, and even left some fresh eggs from her chooks in the fridge for us — what a treat! We had a lovely stay and would definitely want to come back again.

This is our second stay at Kareka and it was just as comfortable and well equipped as last time. There is nothing nicer than falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves in a warm, soft bed. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway, and a convenient drive to nearby shops and other sites of the beautiful Otways. Thank you Sally and Kate, for being great hosts!

I recently had a wonderful stay at Cloud Nine in Apollo Bay. From the moment I booked, Sharee was incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect for my visit. The holiday home itself was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, offering all the comforts of home. Its central location meant we were just a short walk away from local shops, restaurants, and attractions. One of the highlights was the pet-friendly secure yard, perfect for letting my pet play safely. Sharee’s place had a comfortable and inviting atmosphere truly made a difference. I highly recommend Cloud Nine to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in Apollo Bay.

We’re a family of 3 adults & 2 kids and stayed here during our Great Ocean Road trip. The house is easy to find and well located. The view from the house is beautiful. Sound proofing is good. Well equipped and functional layout for family stay. Within walking distance of amenities such as restaurants and supermarket. The info and photos listed are accurate as described. My family love the place and enjoyed our stay very much. We will miss chilling out in the living room with that view and spending time on the beach just a stone’s throw across the road. (Can feel cold walking bare footed on the ground floor, so do bring along a pair of those comfy hotel slippers)

The place was super clean and it is better than the pictures. The location is super beautiful as well. Theres a beautiful beach right when you cross the roads. Shops are about 5 mins as welll. Loved it x

Jane is firstly an incredibly generous and responsive host. She was super flexible and reasonable to a request we had, and also checked in with us to make sure that that we were able to check into the house. The house itself is amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the massive kitchen. There is plenty of entertainment including table tennis, pool toys and floaties, a theatre room and games just to name a few. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and well located. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Lorraine’s for a ladies weekend away. The house is enormous with 3 huge living areas. The beds were comfortable. My sister had to bring her baby and Lorraine arranged for a highchair to be dropped off. The bbq was a bit worn out but the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, fantastic house for large groups.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Kate is an amazing host. She’s the sort of host that is rare now on Airbnb as we are so used to businesses managing properties. Kate actually has local knowledge about the area and the house feels like a home. Full of quality appliances and utensils. It had everything we needed and more and what a comfy bed !!! We really felt so fortunate to be able to stay and have Kate as such a caring host. The location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets a short walk away and the beaches were spectacular. We will be back if we can! Thank you for such a beautiful experience for our family and our overseas guests.

This was a fabulous place for our family to stay . We stayed with our adult children, partners and young grandchildren and it catered well for all. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. Bedrooms and living areas were perfect for family weekend away. We would like to return in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying at Seaview Apollo Bay. The house had everything you needed and more. Hiring linen was an easy. Although GOR holiday letting sent through lots of information, was very hard to contact when needed to ask things. Would have been better if run by a local team. We would definitely book again.

Lovely location, kids loved the pool. Hosts were extremely friendly and generous. Make sure you remember milk it is along drive to pick some up!

Great place. Great location with some awesome features. Pool and pool table were a big hit. Proximity to the beach was very handy. We had some very hot (40° plus) days so another air conditioner or two would have been really helpful

Lovely location, close to Sunnymead beach and the nature reserve. The house itself is spacious, airy and super cosy. The kitchen and bathrooms are great. We especially loved the hammock chairs, games, DVDs and the super friendly birds.

A really cute beach shack with a magnificent view. It’s simple and comfortable and had everything we needed. Was so relaxing and cosy by the fire of an evening. Highly recommend!

Roberta’s home was absolutely beautiful and made our entire experience of visiting Warrnambool perfect. It was peaceful, quiet, private, accessible, clean and cosy. She was so easy to communicate with, helpful and accommodating to our needs with a baby. We loved our stay and looked forward to coming back each day to relax as it was just so nice to be there. We had a lovely stay - house very close to beach and lots of wildlife to see - cockatoos and koalas. The resident male koala got a bit frisky with a female from nearby and there maybe a baby koala (joey) in the next few months as the result of this very noisy activity!!! Will be back again.

Our two families stayed at David’s Aireys home. David was communicative and called to welcome us when we got there. Their beach house felt like a home not a sterile rental. All the beds and sheets were of a high standard which always makes a holiday more pleasant. The outdoor shower surrounded by natives was a hit. Easy walk to the beach and also the pub, even with young kids. Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again. Thank you
