A compact apartment that packed in everything we needed. Full kitchen, comfortable seating with views across town to sea from large picture window, great bed (also with views to sea), handy storage alcoves for clothes and suitcases, shower with plentiful hot water, and - the nicest surprise - a great size deck with bbq. There's no full photo of deck so we worried it might be tiny but loved it and the views to sea and mountains. It is overlooked by the picture window of the rear unit, this was never a problem and we used it often as weather was great. Short walk to town (we dont drive), handy supermarket and host's cafe and bar recommendations. Just one design flaw; the L-shape breakfast bar fits 2 stools under but only one human when you pull out the stools! It was a pity not to have comfortable dining space when evenings got cooler and we ate indoors. Overall an excellent choice and great value for Picton.

We had a wonderful one night stay with Ligita and Bob how were very helpful and friendly hosts. Very comfortable apartment with everything you would need for a short stay, very close to main road and easy to find. There is an excellent mussel restaurant 10 minutes walk.

As reflected in other reviews this apartment was stunning. The location required a vehicle and the steps were challenging for an older guest with a 15 kg suitcase though well lit and sturdy. Everything was supplied, utensils, hot plates, good washer/dyer, Weber BBQ, vacuum cleaner and immaculate linen and towels. Instructions for our arrival were concise and timely and the questions we had before we arrived were responded to almost immediately by the Holiday Nelson team.

We fully enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely, and you see the beautiful greenery outside through the windows and skylights. Everything you need in the kitchen, and a lovely place to enjoy your meals, inside or outside on the deck. Easy walk to marina and restaurants. Jo was very communicative, and Tony, who was home, is a very helpful, friendly host.

We stayed for 4 nights - grandparents and three grandchildren aged 12 to 15. Very good location. Fantastic to watch the ferries and views of Picton. had a great time strolling around Picton and Waikawa Bay. Very good facilities. Very clean. May come back some day.

This is an exceptional place! Pls look no further if you have found it. Everything about this airbnb is perfect. The deck with amazing views, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa and bed, spacious bathroom and a great laundry space! And to top it all a superb host - excellent in communication and genuinely wants you to have a great time. I can bet good money that you can’t find a better place than this in Picton. So much thought and detailing has gone into this space that it is a joy to experience it. There is also a superb hot tub with amazing views which we couldn’t use due to lack of time. I regret not staying here longer! I thank Brad for creating this amazing space for us and wish him all the best. And wish more Brads to the airbnb world!

Cannot say enough good things about Relax by the River‼️ Beautiful location and an extremely clean and updated home. All of Tania’s welcoming touches made for an overall fabulous experience. Would definitely come again if in the area. Thank you Tania and all.

Our interislander ferry was delayed which caused us to miss our hotel booking for the night. I reached out to Stephanie and she responded immediately! Her place is 2 minutes from the ferry terminal. Yet it is very quiet and beautiful. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable. We spent a very restful night. Thank you so much! I hope to be back and recommend this spot to anyone.

This was my all time favorite Air B&B stay. The house was so gorgeous, that when we pulled up, my family asked me if I was sure I had the right address! The beds were so comfortable, with beautiful linens. We enjoyed cooking dinner and breakfast several nights in the large and well stocked kitchen. Night times around the fireplace were so cozy! Lovely yard and small pool, that was well used by our 7 year old. It was hard to leave this morning. The garden around the house is lovely and we enjoyed fresh oranges from the trees.

We really enjoyed our time at Yvonne and Dave’s place. The views are tremendous. Just a spectacular view of the ocean and hills. The spaces are large with a fantastic, well stocked kitchen. The patio is very large and great for hanging out to enjoy the aforementioned views. Location was great; only a 5 minute ride from the ferry. Yvonne and Dave were very responsive and helpful to all our enquiries. I would definitely come back again to the “Beachy Blue Sea Views”.
