Great place. bigger than expected but not as close to downtown as we hoped. not a deal breaker but neighborhood was a little run down. Looks like it's coming back though! We had a really good time and we're able to enjoy the wonderful little town of Valpo and see our daughter's last home basketball game! Would recommend this place and will stay again!

What a wonderful stay! We brought our pup and were able to go for beautiful spring walks in the woods. It was a comfortable, spacious stay with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Very thoughtful and responsive hosts. We’re well rested and ready for the next school term 🙏🏼 We will be back in the summer when all the tall trees will be in their summer array and we can enjoy the lakeside more. Xx

Lake Trail Cottage is a perfect property for a vacation or an overnight. It is immaculate with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were in transit, so we only stayed one night, but if I were planning a trip to Indiana Dunes, it would also be perfect. Jill is an amazing host and stayed in touch before, during and after our visit due to a major travel disruption we had. We travel this way frequently, and we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

The best airbnb that I've ever stayed at!! This house is clean and inviting. More than enough linens. The extra touch Michelle and Colin have put into ensuring their guests have the needed essentials and then some was very special. Our furbaby even has a special toy to remember her first beach trip. Easy access to the interstate. The Dunes Escape is my new go to spot to stay when returning home to visit family.

If you’re visiting Indiana Dunes, this is the place for you. Only a 5min drive to the beach! Close to town if you need to but any supplies too. It is on a busy road, so be mindful if you have children running around, but the backyard is large and fenced in.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Mari-Beth's and had fun exploring Valparaiso. She is a gracious host and provided lots of thoughtful amenities like extra linens, brita pitchers, and white noise machines by the bedside. We booked both units and it was spacious enough for ten of us. Check in was quick and easy and the unit was clean and comfortable. Location was great, a few blocks from all the cute shops and restaurants, along with easy street parking. I would highly recommend Mari-Beth as a host and we would stay here again.

Really amazing little cottage right on the lake. Water was amazing, beautiful beach that wasn’t crowded, just really really nice. Cell coverage was weak when we were there but that’s the case for the entire Dune area. Cant wait to come back, one of the best vacations ever

Loved staying at this Airbnb. Everything was clean and instructions were clear. Hosts were great at communicating and very friendly! :) This location is perfect if you want to explore the dunes and beaches in the surrounding area.

This is the perfect place to stay within walking distance of Downtown Valparaiso. It has everything I needed for a three day stay, will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The drive to get there was absolutely lovely—scenic and peaceful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Local food places were with 15 minutes and the hour drive to Chicago was not bad. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! The communication with Mark was incredible very responsive and helpful.

This is a very cozy cabin by a beautiful lake, featuring panoramic windows and lots of interesting interior details. The location is very convenient yet secluded from other houses. The only thing I didn’t realize when booking is that there are no doors. Just something to keep in mind when making your reservation. Thank you, Ryan!

The house is great, very spacious and with lots of things to do especially for the kids. Very private, and very calm area. We did enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean and kitchen has all that is needed.

It was a great stay at Kendall's place! It was clean and plenty of room for a one bedroom house. There are a ton of things to do right at the campground and the neighbors were very friendly. Close to Indiana Dunes and a short drive to other places of interest.
