This is our second time staying here. Great location steps from the beach. Dedicated parking spot. Great restaurants. Good AC and wifi if you need to work remotely. We will be back.

Maria and Ana were extremely welcoming and responsive. As someone who visited the area for the first time, it was nice to know they were there if I had questions.

Geweldige ruimte, ruim netjes en schoon. Alles wat we nodig hadden, was aanwezig en werkend. Lokatie is prima, rustig en beloopbaar. Goede super dichtbij. Christina is een geweldige host, heel behulpzaam. We hadden een leuke, gezellige vakantie in Lagos.

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

Ein wirklich bezaubernder Ort nah an der Natur, wo wir zur Ruhe kommen konnten und die Nähe zum Meer mit einem fantastischen Ausblick genießen konnten. Besonders fand ich, dass es echte Zimmerpflanzen in der Wohnung gab und auch auf der fantastischen Terrasse. Wunderbarer Ort für den Dezember Urlaub. Ratsam ist ein Mietwagen, da die Anlage doch ein wenig außerhalb liegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Pedros schöner Wohnung :-) Es war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist super, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Sogar für unser 4-Monate altes Baby war alles vorhanden was man braucht, sodass wir an Gepäck sparen konnten. Von der Wohnung aus ist man in unter 5 Minuten an tollen Stränden und direkt vor der Tür fährt ein Bus, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn das Baby Autofahren nicht mag ;-)

Angelo was such a lovely and gracious host. He was so accommodating and welcoming. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

We cannot recommend highly enough! We are from the US and this is the third time we have stayed at Francisca's, so we are fans. This place is absolutely lovely, with privacy and comfort, a great kitchen with everything you need for cooking, both patio and rooftop access to relax in the sun, and walking to the greatest beach and sunrise/sunset viewing spots. The Alvor boardwalk is a terrific daily walk and lively place to enjoy both exercise and cafes/restaurants. We have only been there off-season so cannot speak to the amenities and crowds during the season, but this is a perfect spot (both town of Alvor and the development itself) in the Algarve to access quiet, beauty and good restaurants. Alvor is a great home base from which to enjoy the whole Algarve. Francisca is a kind, warm host who communicates easily and quickly when we have needed anything. It's a lucky find!

What a magical few days we had! The apartment is really lovely, as is the roof top view. All the stuff you need is there for small children - toys, books, highchair and blackout shutters were all really useful. Lots of lovely local restaurants and a stunning beach nearby which was quiet with great food options. Pool was a bit nippy as it isn’t heated but warmed up over the week, and was always empty when we went. We’d recommend Club Nau, Brunch in Rio, O Velho Novo and Delizie for yummy food and friendly staff. A really wonderful spot, and lovely place to stay with everything easy to walk to. Faro airport transfers easy with Uber as well.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und eine sehr schöne Wohnung, in der wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Wohnung ist darüber hinaus sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir bedanken uns ganz besonders bei Elaine und Stephen für einen gefüllten Kühlschrank, all die anderen Annehmlichkeiten sowie für die wunderbar herzliche Kommunikation. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Edite is a fantastic host. I travel frequently for work and I can say she’s one of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. The apartment was clean and spacious. It has everything you could need. We especially appreciated the teas and coffees and the nice welcome gift of a bottle of local wine. Edite met us at check in to show us around d and was extremely helpful friendly. There were some bad storms during out our stay and Edite was proactive and helpful. She offered to let us stay longer if any travel delays arose. The location of the apartment is a short walk to the beach. There are numerous shops, restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. There are also usually taxis at the ready right outside the building. I stayed for 9 nights with my adult daughter. We had plenty of space and privacy. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot to stay for a week or more in Portimão.

Posto meraviglioso , come sentirsi a casa , gli appartamenti sono accessoriati di tutto , anche delle prime cose basilari per cucinare , al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare biscotti acqua e formaggio e ci hanno fatto assaggiare il pane fatto in casa da loro , hanno un orto dove abbiamo potuto raccogliere pomodori freschi e fichi direttamente dall'albero , a disposizione anche ombrellone e piccole sdraio per la spiaggia . Ottimi i suggerimenti di Carla per visitare spiagge e ottimi i ristoranti consigliati .

The house has a very nice beachfront view and we enjoyed going to the beach and walking down the promenade everyday. Plenty of parking available and we felt very safe walking at night in the neighbourhood. We were there during off-season, so it was quiet, relaxing and there were no crowds anywhere. Our dog was even „allowed“ to run freely on the beach as it wasn’t peak season! This was a workation for me and as promised by Danielle, the internet connection was fast and stable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! Really good location. Close to the beach, restaurants but very quiet and peacfull. Great view on the river and fishetboats. Everything you can think of is present in kitchen, bathroom etc. Good host, easy check in. We loved it and will definitely be back in this beautiful house in lovely Ferragudo.

Bei all den vielen positiven Bewertungen hier kann ich mich nur anschließen und noch einmal betonen, wie toll diese Unterkunft ist! - Der Ausblick auf das Castle und die Hafeneinfahrt mit dem Fluß Arade von Balkon und Terrasse ist einfach umwerfend schön (schöner kann man eigentlich kaum sitzen!). Die Einrichtung der Villa ist authentisch und nicht hypermodern. Wir fanden sie insgesamt sehr stimmig, auch mit der Deko. Das Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse und dem Duschbad ist sehr geräumig und der Ausblick auch hier super schön. Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist etwas dunkel, da das große Fenster darin "nur" auf die kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus geht und hier nicht wirklich viel Licht reinfällt. Aber da wir uns außer zum Schlafen nicht lange in diesem Zimmer aufgehalten haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Einziges Manko, dass in den Schränken eher wenig Platz ist, weil viele Decken etc. darin liegen. Das Haus an sich ist geräumig, der Wohn-/Essbereich groß und gemütlich. Für uns eine tolle Unterkunft!!

We had a wonderful stay: fantastic location, great beds, kitchen more than fully equiped, contact with owner and caretaker was perfect. Gorgeous beaches around the corner, great restaurants everywhere and plenty to see and do. Spacious enough for six. English books avalable and pool table for some fun and laughter. Beach towels and beach chairs were very handy. As well as the beach toys. Would definitely recommend; you won’t be disappointed.

Logement moderne, très propre et très bien équipé. l'appartement est à moins de 10 min à pied de la plage et est très bien situé pour rayonner dans la région.

Merveilleux!!! La maison est superbe, avec tout ce qu’on a besoin pour un excellent séjour. L’emplacement de rêve, devant la plage. Rui et Lana sont très gentils et très accueillants. Merci pour tout! On reviendra!
