Lovely, charming cottage with great bed/nice linens. Star of the stay was the environment,- waking up to windows looking out over the river and the huge, exquisite, classic Portland garden. Want to come back and see it in the summer in bloom. Arrived in dark with a bit of a tricky walk down from car to cottage, but Shaun was very attentive and kind being sure I got to the door safely. Would highly recommend- a special place.

Was incredibly easy to check in. The amenities were great. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The washer and dryer were immensely helpful to have. Honestly I only chose this place because it was so close to my sister’s house but I was very surprised with how much I liked it there. The back yard is gorgeous too. Didn’t spend much time out there because it was freezing this week but will stay again.

The place is excellent, featuring a well-equipped kitchen perfect for a short-term stay. Remember to keep the heater on. While the bathroom is compact, it's manageable. Be sure to have extra quarters for laundry. Parking is readily available, and there's a trail within walking distance, ideal for jogging. Note that there are no restaurants nearby, so having a car is essential, although a bus station is also nearby for trips downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful spot right on the river. The house was super cozy and everything was labeled so super easy to navigate in and unfamiliar environment. Kristin is a fabulous host and always available for any questions or needs you may have. For me it was a lovely spot to stay while my house was getting remodeled. Thanks for being such a gracious host!

Joshua’s cabin is secluded, quiet, homey, located on perfect farm/ranch, comfortable, clean, and supported with consideration and warmth by Cara and Joshua. Could not be better for restorative get-away.

The perfect getaway in the woods for a Portland city gal. I worked , including zoom calls and the internet was pretty solid. The views are gorgeous , river on one side and the trees are divine. Owners are a delight. Would live here if I could haha

Perfect home away from home! So cozy. It was very well stocked with everything we needed and if there was a need, Van or Laurie were right there to help, or bring what ever it was we needed. Wonderful hosts!!! Plenty of games, books and channels on the television to keep you busy! And a very peaceful neighborhood for walking your dog. Just a little walk to the lake and a sweet little dock to sit on and just chill. So peaceful! And if you’re up for a game of Pickleball, really great Pickleball court right in the backyard. We really didn’t want to leave, so next time we need a home away from home, this is where we will be staying.

We were so comfortable and felt right at home. The hosts were very responsive and answered any questions we had very quickly. The home was comfortable and in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our boys loved the stay! The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was a dream to use. Enjoyed the shower! We appreciated the well stocked dishes and silverware and the little extras. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Exceptional! The design and layout of the house, the tasteful decor, the furnishings, everything was top notch. A lot of attention was put on every detail to make us comfortable and welcome. We stayed two weeks and wanted for nothing.

One of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in. Miranda was super awesome and accommodating to our requests. We would definitely book again. My boyfriend and I are runners and this was a beautiful neighborhood to go running in. We are also not big city people - so this was a perfect spot away from all that nonsense but not too far from great restaurants and little shops/grocery stores.

I highly recommend staying with Lynn! The location is perfect - any things within walking distance, yet tucked away in a cozy, peaceful neighborhood. Lynn was an excellent communicator, and the space itself was well designed and provided a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

What an excellent place to stay. Jodi has thought of everything. Every time I wondered whether she had a certain kitchen tool or other item, it would show up. I felt right at home. When I mentioned that I was missing a water filter, it appeared on my doorstep the next day!

This beautiful cottage is packed with amenities and conveniences. 1. The kitchen is well equipped: pots, blender, sugar/spices/herbs, coffee maker, coffee and teas, filtered water and more. It has everything a cook will need and more. 2. Each bedroom has its own heating/air unit, which means I was able to sleep in a cooler room than my travel buddies. Menopausal women will appreciate this perk 😉. 3. The cottage is conveniently located near restaurants and supermarkets. Great near by breakfast places. All of my experiences with local businesses were friendly and memorable. Folks were just nice and kind. Good for my Soul. 4. Our host(s) were quite accommodating and replied quickly if we had questions and/or request. We came to Portland to hike and we did quite a bit of hiking. Oregon is simply beautiful. Having this cozy cottage to crawl to … after a day of hiking was a blessing. We will return to both Oregon and this cottage in years to come.
