The place was beyond our expectations. The views are incredible and it felt so private and peaceful. Inside the house was beautiful, very cozy but modern and they had thought of everything. The kitchen had lots of bits that meant you could cook proper meals which was lovely. Felt right at home and would reccomend it to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility.

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Great accommodation, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Skye with a large group. The accommodation was ideal with two lounge areas, en-suite in all of the rooms and a fantastic view and location perfect for travelling around Skye.

Penny’s place was perfect for travelling and exploring the Fort William area with my family. Spotlessly clean. There was heaps of room for the kids and the place was set up extremely well. Super comfortable and we felt right at home! We had a lovely stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious living rooms and bedrooms.A grand hall and staircase. Big baths and a jacuzzi. 5 minute walk from the main square in Portree and has its own parking space which solves the parking problem in Portree. No problems with the heating, everything worked fine. Lovely welcome pack and greetings card. We highly recommend this place

Stayed here during a trip with 6 friends traveling all throughout Scotland and this was definitely our favorite place to stay throughout the entire trip. The AirBnb was wonderful. It had everything we needed and felt cozy and right at home. We all agreed we got the best sleep of our trip at this stop. The host, Alexandra, was extremely helpful in letting us check-in early and providing us with a ton of recommendations for nearby activities. The house itself was lovely. Beautiful view of the water (that had seals right up by us!) Absolutely would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Rugosa is a beautiful, comfortable house. The kitchen is well equipped with every utensil and dish you need for home cooking. The living areas are tasteful while allowing complete relaxation and the open fire was an added bonus. We found the beds very comfortable and storage was good. Daniel answered all my questions quickly and fully. All in all we could fault nothing and we would definitely stay in Rugosa again should we ever return to Skye. Thank you Daniel.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Fay's beautiful house. Enough space for our family and the garden was very much appreciated by our children. The house is refurbished to a high and modern standard with a fully equipped kitchen. It's also in walking distance of Portree High Street and Harbour and a great starting point to explore Skye. Would highly recommend!

This apartment was homely, exceptionally clean and super comfortable, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was lovely to come home to after a day out exploring this beautiful part of the world. The apartment is an easy 15 minutes walk to town with spectacular views. Always warm and had everything we could possibly need for cooking & eating in. Maria was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and recommend it to all of our friends. Big thanks again.

Cozy home with stunning views of mountains, farms and sheep. Well-equipped kitchen. Donna was a helpful and responsive host. Spacious for a small family. Loved the peace and quiet and would love to stay here again.

This was our first visit to Skye and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is attached to the owner’s home but otherwise in a fairly remote location. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the location is unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was very welcoming with colourful decor, cosy and had everything that we needed. Easy parking for the car outside the door. We stayed with our dog and were all very comfortable during the stay and sad to leave when it was over.

This is a wonderful place to spend some magical time in the mountains. The picturesque coffee mornings with the view out the window were just the first of many treasures available here. Anna was so sweet to come and check on me after having rough travels, once I arrived. The cottage itself was so cozy and inviting. Spending the holidays alone didn't feel so lonely when you're somewhere that just feels like Christmas. I will definitely be back with my family to share this experience. Thank you so so much!

Island hospitality and generosity at its best. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and extra. Lovely touches of shortbread, fruit, milk and breakfast cereals. Central to Tarbert perfect for exploring both North Harris and the south. A very comfortable spot for 2. Well 3 including the dog. Thanks for a lovely stay will book again.

Was unable to stay at this place as the road onto Skye was closed and we did not have the time to drive back to Inverness and re-try on the only other route. However, Rachel was fantastic to deal with and I would recommend her place when visiting Skye.

Lyn's place was the perfect getaway for myself and my girlfriend to explore Western Scotland. This was a cosy ground floor apartment that's in a quiet area, immaculate upon entry, contained all listed items and features, and myself and my girlfriend felt comfortable and right at home. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen contained everything we needed to self-cater and there were treats left for us such as shortbreads, caramel bars and jams as an added bonus. The apartment is located next to a beautiful loch and located right near the stunning Ben Nevis and Fort William, with plenty of picturesque locations nearby and guides provided for local walks. Lyn was an excellent host and welcomed us, was friendly, gave us privacy and was responsive with communication. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Lovely studio to use as a base to explore the Isle of Skye. We had a great time over three nights and had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped and warm. Mary Flora is a delightful host. We have no hesitation in recommending this listing. Ps foreshore walk nearby is worth doing.

Mairi was the most perfect and wonderful host who made us both feel extremely welcome from the get-go to our first stay in the Scottish Highlands. Mairi provided us with extremely clear instructions on how to find the accommodation which was super helpful and easy to follow. After a delayed check-in as a result of our tyre bursting, Mairi was extremely supportive and understanding and allowed us to check-in later than planned - thank you so much! The Skyfall apartment was the best place we have stayed in. From the apartment being spotlessly clean to pristine standards, the most comfiest bed we've slept in, amazing facilities, a super-relaxing bath-tub to the breathtaking views from the balcony...it was the most perfect, peaceful and relaxing stay you could ever wish for. This was our first stay in the Highlands and we will definitely be back to stay here as this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing visit for exploring some of Scotlands most beautiful landscape. Was a nice flat, my traveling companion did have trouble with the see through metal grate and stairs due to height sensitivity. Don’t expect to roll your suitcase, there are no sidewalks between the car park and the front door, only stone gravel, so pack light and manageable. Overall was a nice stay.

Norma's flat was in pristine condition! Gorgeous views of the Loch in front and even a tiny waterfall in the back. Milk, jams, cereal, coffees and teas were provided along with all kitchenware essentials, making cooking for yourself extremely easy. Norma also contributes to helping guests limit their carbon footprints with essentials provided in refillable or recyclable containers, which is greatly appreciated by us environmentally conscious guests!

Myself and a friend stayed for 4 weeks while on placement. Charles was a great host, very responsive. The apartment itself was amazing, even better than the photos. The location is fantastic. Definitely worth it and would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

beautifull place with an amazing view. John was also incredibly kind and quick to respond when we got a little lost all due to my own fault. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen and a very cozy area to just chill after a long day of hiking. the room was a bit chilly, but with the heaters it warmed up in no time. If we would stay there again (and we'd love to!) we would've done a bit more groceries in the co-op in Broadford so we'd be able to use the kitchen more. Skye is an amazing place to visit, and staying at John and Ann's place is probably one of the best ways to experience it.
