Stayed here one night , Josh was outstanding in communication very helpful with Information at what was a stressful time for us as attending a funeral . The house was spacious and welcoming .

Our stay was idyllic! the house is perfect, modern and homely feel. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed. The views are stunning. The house is right on the beach so a great location. Local amenities was great, 2 minute walk to the local convenience and restaurants. We will definately rebook, thats a 1st for us, definately recommend this stay.

Idyllic - best description of Kathy's place in Sussex in the south of England. Kathy was a great host and the property was amazing; both the Coach House, which was huge and boasted a wonderful kitchen and common areas. We were celebrating the arrival of our first grandbaby, bringing the whole family together (7 + infant) over Christmas and really appreciated all the nice touches, including the beautiful Christmas decorations. Make no mistake, you are in the countryside - with all the peace that comes with it (there is a lively and charming little pub a short distance); and, yet, not really all that far from London and the airports; very accessible. I could go on but Kathy's place was just a perfect retreat and we feel very blessed to have been able to stay at this beautiful property. Thank you, Kathy, to you and your family for a wonderful stay!

We cannot speak highly enough about James’s accommodation. James himself was a very friendly host who couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was perfect The accommodation was beautiful very peaceful and had everything you needed it was finished to a very high standard. It was so good and exceeded all our expectations so much so, we are going to book to stay again Thank you James

This was the perfect house for a family weekend together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather and enjoyed the comfortable garden furniture. The garden was safe for my toddler grand daughter. When we wanted to go out it was an easy walk to the Hove cafes etc and to the beach. We had a really relaxing time and would love to come again.

Myself and my friends stayed overnight at Jenny & Graham’s wonderful place, bringing in the New Year in nearby Edenbridge, and returning in the small hours to Finches. Such a brilliant stay - some very interesting decor of the Pyrenees, plentiful games, DVDs, as well as a well-equipped small kitchen. The beds were all ready-made for us all, and very comfortable. Peaceful surroundings, and a grand stone pillar entrance, which was exciting to drive into as we entered! Jenny and Graham were just lovely. Jenny gave me a very warm welcome, and as we were leaving, I had a great conversation with Graham. I had left my watch at the place, and Jenny was incredibly understanding and patient as I arranged a time to collect it. I would highly recommend Finches to anyone looking to stay in a peaceful, beautiful location - with Ashdown Forest practically on the doorstep, you are in a prime spot to explore the wonderful landscapes and places that East Sussex has to offer! This is a lovely old nineteenth century house, oozing charm and character. The kitchen/diner is the focal point, where we spent most of our time, a log burner making it particularly cosy in winter. There are other rooms where you can escape for a bit of peace and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need, a huge fridge/freezer with ice maker, a big cooking range with induction hob, and every appliance you can think of. Sadly the English winter limited our outdoor enjoyment, other than a log fired hot tub in which we wallowed at night, drinking champagne (a big birthday) and looking at the stars, and there’s also a wood-fired pizza oven. In better weather there’s loads to entertain children outside, in particular a trampoline. Lots of wildlife around, we startled a deer in the garden one night! The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay and wished it had been longer.

We stayed 5 nights. The room was spacious, WiFi perfect, relaxing place, dining place, the bedding was of a very good quality. When we arrived, there was fresh baked bread, eggs, butter, coffee, tea, water. Annemarie is always willing to help. Very kind family. Don’t hesitate, go for it! We enjoyed our days!

We loved our stay here. Very good location and great central neighbourhood for walking everywhere. Lovely to be able to bring the dog too and the garden was a bonus. Arlene is exceptionally easy to communicate with and everything is in place to make the stay comfortable and very pleasant. Lovely cafés, pubs, shops etc in the immediate area.

Had a lovely stay in Arundel. This apartment was in easy walking distance of the train station and the town was very close too with lots of nice walks and cafes/restaurants. The apartment was a decent size, the bed comfy and it was nice to have access to the outdoor patio and garden. Joanne was very friendly and helpful. While I was visiting the wi-fi was not the best but I was able to work for most of the time that I needed to. Would recommend!

Jason's place was very welcoming with all the comforts of home. Really well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Lovely welcome pack of oat milk,fruit bread,vegan spread and a bottle of white wine. We paid for parking permits and found parking in the road outside easy during our stay. On a steep hill so decided to get taxis on the way back from town.Would book again and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely experience exploring Balcombe, and wish we had longer than one day to enjoy the peace and friendliness of the village. It took us only 35 minutes to get to the airport (without a car - walked to the train station and rode two stops). Location was perfect.

Very comfortable, clean, cosy apartment, very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our brief stay, communication with Julia was excellent, and we will certainly book again when we are in the area.

The annex was great, did fit the purpose; very quite & nice But the best was how much Sarah cared, as I had several special requirements like a desk to study etc and she was very keen on fulfilling my needs Thanks

I loved this little place- the indoor/outdoor living is very refreshing and the view is endlessly beautiful from the cabin. Everything is really well though through from very well prepped fire lighting material to storage and so on. Hosts kind and thoughtful. Thank you.

This little getaway cottage is fantastic. It's the second time my partner and I have been there, and we are planning our next breakaway to this beautiful cottage. The surroundings are amazing, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There are great walks locally. This cottage is highly recommended. The host was very clear with instruction on how to get there.

Amazing venue for a relaxing weekend away. Fantastic hosts who recommended great activities and local pubs. Very responsive to my many questions and very welcoming on arrival. Would highly recommend!

Our stay was short and sweet, but how absolutely lovely it was! Thank you Alyson for being so attentive to us and responding so quickly. The forest den was easy to find thanks to Alyson’s instructions and it spotless when we arrived. Being greeted by the doggies was the highlight of my day! We stayed one night and the space was perfect for us. The local woodland was perfect for a walk to celebrate the start of spring. The surrounding area was so quiet and peaceful, it was exactly what we needed and expected. I recommend it to anyone who needs to take a break and recharge!

Lovely stay, Christopher was a fabulous host

Such a stunning spot. The view out over the valley is beautiful. The lovely Alfriston is a 5 minute walk away with delicious pubs and restaurants. Great walks directly from the lodge and no need to get in your car. Hot tub was great once we got it up to temperature with a bit of help from Mandy which was appreciated! Really recommend and we’d love to return one day.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, super clean and had everything you could need for your stay. So peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We went Knockhatch Adventure Park. Which is very close and great day out for kids. We then went into Lewes which has so much history and a lovely high street to walk through. Would highly recommend, amazing hosts very helpful and welcoming.
