We stayed at Olive Meadow Cottage over New Year, and it was a truly unique experience! The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully renovated, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the wood-burning stove provided much-needed warmth during the cold evenings. The outdoor space was a highlight, offering a serene spot to soak in the tranquility and marvel at the star-filled night sky. Lynn was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we felt right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, Olive Meadow Cottage is the perfect choice.

Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft: Eine gemütliche Wohnung, sehr gut ausgestattet, in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympatisch, offen und stets hilfbereit. Vielen Dank dafür. Es ist alles so, wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos abgebildet. Der gepflegte Garten mit riesiger Araukarie, Avocado- Zitronen- und Orangenbaum versprüht selbst jetzt im Januar ein mediterranes Flair. Mit Bollerofen und elektrischen Radiator- Heizungen ist das Haus schnell angenehm zu temperieren. Vila Nova de Milfontes ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen an der Küste (Fisherman's Trail) oder im Hinterland vom Alentejo. Ein Mietauto ist empfehlenswert.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We had a brilliant time here! Margarida and Abel are generous hosts, and the place itself is great: the amazing views, the playground, the grounds to walk around in, and even in February the swimming pool was great! You’re far enough away from everything to have complete silence at night, and yet only a 10 minute drive from Praia do Meco and the beautiful town of Sesimbra and its beach. We’re already trying to work out when we can head back!

O espaço estava impecável! Amamos a estadia! A vista é maravilhosa e a casa muito aconchegante. Tudo extremamente limpo e organizado. Recomendo 100% e voltaremos com toda certeza! A Paula foi muito receptiva e deu todas as instruções necessárias. Foi uma passagem de ano incrível :)

Staying in Ani's beautiful guesthouse was an absolute delight. Not only was the surrounding area picturesque, Ani made us feel right at home with her welcoming fruits and veggies. The location is a little drive away from Lisbon, but the surrounding area and towns are worth exploring and offer more than enough. I would say the pool was our favourite part, but the lovely cats that came to visit us from time to time stole the show. All and all a lovely time, we will be back if we're ever in the area again.

Loved our stay at Pedro’s garden house 🥺It has the convenience of being in the city centre with the views and privacy of a forest. Everything was 10/10 — kitchen stocked with utensils, iPod full of music, and a flawlessly curated space… hosts even went the extra mile to put up a birthday banner to surprise my partner. Dreaming of staying here again someday.

Eu e as minhas filhas sentimo-nos em casa de Familiares mas daqueles que se preocupam. Desde o primeiro minuto até ao último segundo, indiscritível. Tem mesmo que ir la pois são pessoas que julguei que já não existiam. Estão sempre preocupados com os outros, fazem nos sentir em casa e não num airbnb. Já faço a muitos anos mas nunca experiênciei nada igual. A D. Madalen é como uma mãe para os Hóspedes e o Sr. Osvaldo como um Pai, Um amigo. Ficamos eternamente gratos e vamos voltar de certeza. Acreditem que o que possa escrever é mesmo pouco. A Carla também é 5*. Se conseguirem não perca a oportunidade. Adorei obrigado por tudo❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr hübsch und funktionell eingerichtet. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei und war sauber. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich. Besonders erwähnenswert war das komfortable Bett. Wir haben noch in keinem Urlaub so gut geschlafen wie in diesem! :-)

Gostamos muito do espaço da Marilia e ficamos encantados com o espaço e com todos os vizinhos de 4 patas 🐈‍⬛ que andavam no espaço exterior ( e que nos vinham visitar às vezes na varanda 🤭 ). Achei que o espaço estava muito bem aproveitado e super bem decorado, adorei cada detalhe!! As redondezas são calmas e perto da costa. Foi ótimo pra relaxar e fugir da rotina citadina 🔋🍀😌 Na verdade fiquei com saudades mal fiz o check-out... Adoramos e gostaria muito de voltar 🩵💚

The house look exactly like the photos. It’s cosy and beautiful. Has everything we needed. The pool could be a little bigger but it was excellent anyway. Our dogs liked a lot too.

Stunning Airbnb so clean and tidy inside and out Information and help if required at every opportunity. De stress and relaxation this place is perfect. For family and kids perfect with stunning swimming pool amazingly clean . If you’re a sightseer recommend a hire car. We used uber drivers who were brilliant. I truly loved my visit to Monte Frio. Horacio was waiting for me when I arrived and made me feel at home right away. The mountains and neighboring towns were truly special. I was sad to leave, and will return when I can! Thank you!

We felt completely at home in Ana’s house and felt very welcome from the very first second: there were Pasteis de Nata and wine ready to greet us! We worked remotely in the apartment and had excellent internet for parallel video calls. For a bit more concentration when working, we could sit in separate rooms. The view from the garden into the valley and the sea is fantastic - cooking in the well-equipped kitchen was twice as much fun. As is typical for Madeira, the road and driveway to the house are quite steep, but doable. Thank you Ana and Beatriz for your hospitality. We would love to come back some day!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great, just a 100m from the beach. The view from the windows is fantastic and, if you're there for surfing, you can check the waves from the kitchen. The hosts are super helpful, easy to communicate with, and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Super séjour chez Frank! Sa femme et ses filles ont été très accueillantes. Le logement était super et correspondait à nos attentes. Le rooftop pour regarder les étoiles était un vrai plus. Nous avons adoré la compagnie des animaux☺️ Petit bémol pour la douche, compliqué de régler la température de l’eau.

The place was amazing, beautiful stay, gorgeous veiw of the river, peaceful getaway that feels like a different time untouched. I will absolutely stay there again and I'm excited to see what it looks like in the other seasons. Fernandes is a absolutely charm and a great host.

Fueron dos semanas de agosto muy agradables, de desconexión total de la ciudad. La casa era pequeña pero confortable y acogedora. La piscina le daba un plus, para poder refrescarse en los terribles calores del verano, y el estar rodeado de naturaleza es ideal para recargar pilas. Gracias a Peter por todas las atenciones prestadas. Es un muy buen anfitrión.

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en este encantador Airbnb. Desde el primer momento, los dueños y su familia fueron increíblemente amables y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El lugar es precioso, lleno de tranquilidad y con un ambiente perfecto para relajarse. Durante nuestra estancia, tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con la ventanilla de nuestro coche. Sin embargo, el suegro de Carlos fue muy generoso y nos llevó al taller de un amigo, donde nos ayudaron a resolver el problema rápidamente. Su hospitalidad realmente superó nuestras expectativas. Sin duda, volveremos a este hermoso lugar. ¡Recomendamos encarecidamente esta experiencia a cualquiera que busque un refugio acogedor y un trato excepcional!
