Guiomar was very responsive to my messages. The house is close to many, many excellent restaurants and a couple minutes walk to the beach. Also, it's in easy walking distance of a major supermarket and the train station. The place, including the kitchen, is well equipped for a large group. It well-facilitated our multi-generational family vacation. The light and view from the top floor and patio are lovely, I enjoyed the sunrises. My grandchildren enjoyed the winter ferris wheel overlooking the sea and the merry-go-round in the park.

Beautiful home with all the amenities that you need for a nice relaxing stay. The house is in an area where there are not a lot of shops nearby so be prepared with a car. The home is comfortable and well decorated. The views are amazing! Madeira is a beautiful treasure!

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

Geweldig, heel schoon en ruim verblijf met fantastisch dakterras! Bed sliep heel goed, rustige omgeving, handig dat er een kleine supermarkt direct om de hoek zit (lekkere broodjes ook). Grotere supermarkt in Calheta op 3 tot 4 kilometer. In de woning heel veel kastruimte en ook de keuken was van alle gemakken en allerlei spullen voorzien, incl was-, afwasmachine en droger. Angela heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht! Communicatie ook steeds prima, ook vooraf al. Als we weer in deze omgeving van Madeira komen, kiezen we zeker heel graag weer voor de mooie woning van Angela!

un bon logement, bien situé, au calme. vue sur le lac depuis la terrasse. des citronnier dans le jardin. chemins de randonnée a proximité du logement. pour accéder au lac depuis le logement vous êtes à 30 mètres.

We’ve just spent a relaxing week at Quinta do Sol. We loved that the location is rural and peaceful but there’s a supermarket 5 minutes drive and Tavira town about 10 minutes drive and beaches not much further. The house is comfortably furnished with good kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the pool and shady terrace area (which is about 100m from the house) Sophie met us at the house even though we arrived at 9pm and was always really responsive to any messages. We accidentally locked ourselves out and she came quickly to our rescue! She also recommended some great beaches. We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place is even more gorgeous than the photos describe. We’re traveling around Portugal for a couple months and we loved the peace and quiet of this Airbnb just outside the city. Sunrise from the backyard was the best sunrise we’ve seen in Portugal. The space was plenty for my husband and infant, and we loved sitting by the fire. My son got to enjoy swinging for the first time! The meditation area was wonderful for working out in the morning. It was a quick 15 minute drive from the beach. We will absolutely come back to enjoy the infinity pool, with the best view in Portugal! Eunice at check in was very kind and gave us a ton of recommendations. Can’t wait to come back.

Where do I begin? The trip was unbelievably beautiful. From the amazing Airbnb location with an even more amazing host to the majestic and magical scenery of the island. The landscape was astonishingly lush and green, the water a glistening blue like I have never seen before. For anyone into hiking or just a relaxing vacation on the beach, this island has got it all. The hikes are unparalleled! There is something for everyone, from relatively easy, flat, and stunning coastal hikes to intense routes at crazy elevation. Our host Bruno was extremely helpful and a kind soul. The amenities, bathroom, and bed were clean and well maintained—especially the Jacuzzi with the extraordinary view! Bruno, meu amigo, you are most definitely living the dream on this incredible paradise of an island. Once again, thank you for everything! We would love to come back someday. A localização do apartamento é excelente. O apartamento não é grande, mas serve bem para duas pessoas e tem um agradável pátio com mesa e cadeiras, onde pudemos degustar um vinho à noite. Joaquim foi um anfitrião excelente!

We had a great time at Luis' 1940s style apartment. Luis was a fantastic host - he met us when we checked in and provided lots of local recommendations. The apartment was the perfect size, clean and with a great view from the balcony. Ideal for four nights in Porto. We loved the local area, full of wonderful shops, bars and restaurants, all of which had a great design focus. Short walking distance to everything else in Porto. Highly recommend.

We just got back from a stay at Ricardo's apartment for 6 days. I have to say, it was a great place to stay! Ricardo was friendly and helpful, and he stayed in touch throughout our visit. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't have been better. Supermarkets, restaurants, and public transport were all within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. It’s a lively neighbourhood, but at night it was quiet, which was perfect. Plus, parking in the garage was a piece of cake! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming spot. Thanks, Ricardo, for a nice stay!

My wife and I stayed for three nights at Diana's flat. The flat is large, well designed, super clean and an amazing oasis. As many other people have noted, there are a number of bars and restaurants in the small square below the flat and although one is even a fado bar, the flat is built with multi-paned windows, so at night if the party is still going, it's very quiet inside. The unit is also very well located to walk deeper into the Alfama or all of the other neighborhoods one might visit while in Lisbon. I'd highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

We loved our stay at this awesome apartment. The place is located in a very convienient location close to lots of shops, the ocean and some beautiful boardwalks. Ricardo went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay and provided us with all the basics plus a bunch of great tips. Would highly recommend!

This is a lovely property. Brian dealt very quickly with the couple of small problems we had on arrival. A car is needed as the complex is in a spot with no pavements. Gardens, pool etc all immaculate and underground parking was great. Internet was a bit hit and miss

Pedro’s place exceeded expectations. Pedro was very friendly and immediately available when we had a question. Unlike most Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at in Portugal, Pedro’s place was fully stocked with all the essentials needed to have an enjoyable stay (for example, it had plenty of dishwasher tabs and even had laundry soap…which might seem like a small detail but most places we’ve stayed at here tell you to go to the store if you want any). Everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable (also, surprisingly usually very hard to find here!). But, a few more pillows would have been appreciated. Finally, it is worth mentioning for anyone traveling with pets that while Pedro’s place is pet friendly the beaches around the area have no dogs allowed signs (also, very typical in Portugal). But, what was unexpected was that all of the boardwalks also had no dog signs posted. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in a beautiful location! We would be happy to come back :)

Todella siisti, hyvin varusteltu, keittiössä hyvät astiat, imuri pesukoneet. Parvekkeelta hyvät merinäköalat. Avara, siististi remontoitu, vaikka talo vaikuttaa vanhemmalta. Maria, was a fantastic host - I think the best we may have ever had! She allowed us to check in early after flying overnight from Toronto and she also let us check out late. She was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Maria's place was colorful, welcoming, cozy and centrally located on the island. She provided us with fresh breads, cheese, wine, jams, coffee, tea and a delicious pineapple! We had a wonderful time and we hope to come back and visit beautiful São Miguel again. ❤️☀️🌴🍍🐄

Rui is een geweldige, pro-actieve SUPERHOST. Al op het vliegveld had hij een taxichauffeur geregeld (voor onze kosten uiteraard). Rui was aanwezig bij binnenkomst, fruit stond voor ons klaar, net als water, wijn en bier in de koelkast. Zo tevreden dat we inmiddels voor 2025 hebben geboekt. TOP
