We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo’s well-thought-out and intelligently designed cottage. It’s very easy to get around Ponta Delgada, and parking on the street was very convenient. The place felt very private and romantic, with everything you need, including plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The expansive garden with the pond and the sound of frogs at night made it even more relaxing. It’s perfect for a short stay or an extended getaway. We can fully recommend it and would love to come back again. Thank you, Ricardo, for a lovely stay!

This was one of the loveliest places we have stayed on. The peace of the location with stunning views of the mountains and only the sound of the birds to disturb the peace. It is an animal lovers haven with Joanne's three friendly dogs coming on walks with us and welcoming us home in the evening. While the road is rough we managed fine with a cheap Fiat Panda hire car, just watch out for Google maps taken you on impossible roads. We took the train to Lisbon (an accessible station only 25 minutes drive away). We had a day at stunning beach but most of all we enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful place. Joanne was one of the best and most helpful hosts in every way. We hope to be back! Ruth and Dave

Zauberhafte kleine „Gartenhauswohnung“ mit eigener Sitzmöglichkeit im Garten und Grillnutzung. Liebevoll eingerichtet- klein aber fein! Für uns ein ruhiger Wohlfühlort etwas außerhalb des Zentrums der Stadt. Unsere Räder durften wir im Schuppen unterstellen. Die Kommunikation war super, danke liebe Celia! Jederzeit wieder!

The place is absolutely beautiful! Very peaceful, true serenity in the landscape, and a perfect place to rest with a book. Just perfect. You can feel that the place was designed with taste and architectural passion. Luísa was a very friendly host, gave us delicious breakfast and coffee, made us feel right at home.

We had a beautiful stay! The apartment is really clean and has everything you need. The garden is super pretty and you can even eat the fruits from the trees. The hosts are really nice and helpful :-) All was perfect, we would totally recommend staying here!

Carole was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we were misdirected, she went out of her way to find us and guide us through the issue. She was welcoming, social, and spoke excellent English, making our stay even more enjoyable. Carole was also very accommodating, ensuring that breakfast options readily available at her B&B. The B&B itself was beautifully decorated with creative touches that made it feel inviting and comfortable. Located in the heart of Sintra’s historic center, it provided easy access to restaurants, shops, and scenic hiking trails leading to the castle and palace on the hill. With flowers in full bloom, the surroundings were lush and breathtaking. It was truly a wonderful place to stay.

Eine schöne Unterkunft, um zu entspannen. In der Nähe von einem kleinen Dorf am Fluss, mit frischen Orangen aus dem Garten! :) Pedro ist stehts bemüht, dass man seinen Aufenthalt genießt, bietet seine Hilfe an und man kann sich immer melden, wenn man was braucht. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, unsere Katze auch, sie hat hier viele Katzenfreunde gefunden! Das Internet und die Matratze sind sehr gut! Viele Grüße!

Es war einfach wunderbar- die Unterkunft war zwar klein aber für die eine Nacht total ausreichend - sehr liebevoll eingerichtet- die Verpflegung war MEGA!!! Sehr empfehlenswert.

I had a short layover and the place was great - close to airport, clean comfortable bed, and hosts are very friendly.

Estancia muy tranquila y relajada. La habitación es muy confortable y la anfitriona nos ha recibido de forma amable, siempre pendiente de nuestro bienestar. la Zona es muy bonita para hacer actividades y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Niezwykle urokliwe, godne najwyższego uznania miejsce na wypoczynek z dala od miejskiego zgiełku - apartament znajduje się w specjalnej, wydzielonej części dużej nieruchomości i posiada wszelkie przydatne w czasie urlopu udogodnienia. Wartością dodaną jest ogród warzywny, z którego dobrodziejstw można swobodnie korzystać. Petter jest przemiłym gospodarzem, który dokłada wszelkich starań aby jego goście czuli się w pełni komfortowo. Chcemy przyjechać ponownie - to pewne.

The place was absolutely amazing, starting with the view near the house, bathing in the pool with all those hills around, especially at the sunset, the morning view, the small river just next to the house and ending with Katarina and Stephan, who were absolutely homey and helpful. The only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and didn’t have time to know them better. Because their vibe really touches the place. Also, the apartament was very cosy and had all the things you could need, even if you are traveling with a baby and a dog. Oh, the dogs! The best hosts there, Pepe and Ziggy were the entertainment for our entire family. Highly recommended them all!

A specious well lit apartment in a central area of Ponta Delgada. Very comfortable beds, one double and one single, both in the same room, with an en-suite good sized bathroom. Powerful walk-in shower with constant hot water and clean towels. Fully equipped kitchen although we didn’t cook on the premises. Close to several very good restaurants and with a mini market a few doors away for provisions. Street parking is not free but very reasonable rates and we always managed to find parking within a few metres of the apartment. The street is very narrow though, like most streets in the town, so requires good parking skills and is easier with smaller cars. Didn’t meet the owner but Maria was very helpful with local suggestions and with airport transfers, tour bookings etc. Would highly recommend staying here.

Ana and Joanna’s place was lovely. It matched the photos exactly. The interior and exterior of the apartment is first class. The gardens are well designed and maintained. The location is rural but very close to some well stocked local shops. We were attending a wedding in the palace which was walking distance from the apartment. The girls were very friendly and helpful at all times.

A quaint little appt about six minutes walk away from the main marina area. The appt was very clean and also very well equipped with everything you would need if you chose to cook (hob only). Washing machine also available. Bathroom also well equipped with great shower. Would certainly book again.

Marco, Julie and their son were amazing. From the warm welcome to the way we were looked after throughout the stay, nothing more could've been done to make us feel looked after or comfortable. Marco was always going the extra mile and he was a highlight of the visit. We were amazed with his incredible breakfasts, enjoyed in a stunning location, with the perfect countryside backdrop. The property and location were beautiful and tranquil. The suites themselves were well-kitted out and beautifully presented. They became a home away from home. Absolutely no complaints except wishing we could've stayed longer! 'Til next time! À bientôt!

Tom war immer gut und zuverlässig erreichbar. Er bat uns eine sehr charmante und renovierte Unterkunft in einem historisch interessant aufgeladenen Haus, in dem er im Sommer selbst wohnt. Es gibt auf dem Grundstück mehrere Unterkünfte, unterschiedlich ausgestattet, es gibt z.B. Auch Inserate mit Küche). Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber und schön hergerichtet. Die Klimaanlage und der Kühlschrank haben den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht. Abends kann man im schönen Innenhof sitzen und tagsüber Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen. Tom war dabei ausgesprochen hilfsbereit, hat sich am Ankunftsabend mit uns auf ein Bier hingesetzt und uns viel über die Umgebung erzählt und Tipps gegeben. Vielen Dank für deinen freundlichen Umgang! Einkäufe können mit dem Auto etwa 10 Minuten entfernt gemacht werden. Auch für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung ist es wichtig, mobil zu sein. Ich empfehle den Aufenthalt bei Tom von Herzen. Sollten wir noch einmal in der Gegend sein, werde wir sicher wiederkommen.

Le logement un dans un endroit calme, un peu en retrait du centre historique. Mais une balade à pied de 15 mn vous permettra de vous y rendre. La piscine est bien agréable… et le logement coquet. Manuel et Gloria sont aux petits soins….tout en discrétion !

Die Wohnung liegt im 6. Stock eines Hochhauses mit Fahrstuhl. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf Stadt und Hafen. Das Apartment ist aus unserer Sicht perfekt für zwei Erwachsene. Ein Tiefgaragenstellplatz für den Mietwagen ist direkt im Haus. Jose ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns mit Wein, Brot, Wasser und vielerlei Ratschlägen für einen schönen Aufenthalt in Empfang nahm.
