The Indigo Windmill was an experience to remember. Andrea is an extremely generous and gracious host. The accommodations were incredibly well thought out and had every convenience I could have asked for. The outdoor area is incredible and well equipped so I didn't have to carry things down to it. A couple of my friends from Lisbon joined for a day and we had more that enough room to enjoy. They were beside themselves when they saw it. The spa was hot and clean. The bike rental is convenient and the lit path to the beach is a gem. The town itself boasts convenient markets, great food, and a quiet easy attitude that made me feel right at home right away. Andrea checked in with me, offered suggestions, and had a great personable way about him. It is easy to make memories in such a wonderful space and I am grateful that Andrea chose to share it with me.

This place was a dream! Don't pass up the chance to stay in this unique home. The space was beautifully designed and impeccably clean... we had everything we needed for a cozy night in Peniche. As others have mentioned, it was a bit cold and damp due to the weather conditions, but Philipe left us well equipped with space heaters and a dehumidifier. The breakfast He delivered was generous and delicious. I would recommend this stay to anyone! It has set a high bar for future accommodations.

We are excited to boast of our stay in an authentic Portuguese Windmill and show people the experience! Although off the beaten path, we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings where it sat looking down on a below village. Ana was very responsive with instructions and local recommendations of beaches and restaurants; they did not disappoint. We ended up being in Nazarè during carnival celebrations so we were so grateful to be staying out of the hustle of downtown. We look forward to future visits!

Super friendly welcome, great garden and pool area. We stayed at the windmill, which has a unique atmosphere, but not much space for luggage. There is a little annexe with a table, perfect for a candle light dinner.

This place is so cute and we were so excited to stay here! We were here in February and failed to miss the note that there is no heat. That was OUR fault and not Sabrina's. We were still comfortable and charmed by her place. She put plenty of warm bedding out for use and we both slept very well there. I would love to spend more time there in the warmer months. Sabrina was great and went out of her way to make it possible for us to stay there.

Our stay at the windmill was the highlight of our two-week honeymoon. Our only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay! The space is an incredible place unplug and unwind with nature. We hiked the trails, sipped coffee to the falling rain and enjoyed a lovely wine tasting and pizza night with our hosts Simon and Fiona and their dog Princess. We will talk about this experience for years to come. We will be back in the future to this hidden gem in the countryside.

Ana und Rute haben sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Mühle ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles was wir benötigten, war vorhanden, auch der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Alles ist tipptopp. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub erlebt und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Herzlichen Dank an Ana und Rute.

Lovely stay in a beautiful old windmill. Small cosy get away for me and my partner, it was February time so it was chilly outside, but lovely cosy atmosphere inside. We made dinner on the hot plates, as there was enough equipment and utensils to do so. Very peaceful surroundings and easy check in. Paula left great instructions so it was easy to manage even after dark
