Vietimme viikon tässä kohteessa kahden perheen kanssa, 2+3 ja 2+2. Pienin lapsista lisäpatjalla. Sijainti on loistava ja lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rinteistä ja Rukan palveluista. Mökki on erittäin tunnelmallinen kelohirsimökki ja oli hyvin siivottu ennen saapumistamme. Autot saa parkkiin noin 50-100m päähän mökistä jossa sai ladattua kahta autoa. Astiat riitti isolle porukalle samoin kuin tilat. Kaikin puolin hyvä paikka. Isännälle Istolle kiitos nopeasta ja ystävällisestä viestinnästä.

LMukava yhden yön majoittuminen Ketorinteessä. Latu vieressä, kaunis maisema ja rauhallinen sijainti. Tuntui kuin olisi tullut kotiin. Saunan jälkeen uni maistui. Saimme mukavasti joustoa tuloaikatauluun. Esa vastasi ystävällisesti ja antoi mukavia vinkkejä (mm Konttainen tuli katsastettua). Tulemme mielellään uudelleen.

Miika was a fantastic host—warm, efficient, and incredibly thoughtful. His directions to the cabin were clear, making our arrival effortless. The cabin itself was a dream, nestled in a serene winter landscape overlooking a frozen lake. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. The absolute highlight was witnessing the northern lights right from the cabin—an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical winter escape, this is the place to be. We’re so happy we stayed here and will definitely be back!

Erittäin tunnelmallinen ja tilava majoitus. Sisälsi kaikki puitteet viihtymiseen ja Sallan laskettelukeskuskin kivenheiton päässä. Johannan kanssa oli helppo asioida ja ohjeisti selkeästi sekä hyvin ennakkoon. Voin suositella muillekin Lapin reissua suunnitteleville.

We had the most PERFECT week here and were so sad to leave. We felt instantly at home in the warm, cosy cabin. Everything you need is here and more. Enjoying a hot tub under the stars in the tranquility of the forest and then into the sauna is a perfect end to your day. The forest is so peaceful and you can enjoy wonderful walks right from your front door. There were sledges for our children to borrow and to enjoy on the slopes outside the house plus the Suomu ski resort was a short walk away and easy to hire skis here and get a lesson. We enjoyed a husky experience and reindeer feeding at Salla and the Riisitunturi National Park was well worth the hour or so drive. Or just staying at the cabin and relaxing is perfect too. This was our second visit to this cabin and we would so love to return here again one day- it’s truly magical and has been the best holiday for us and our 4 small children. I recommend book it today- you will absolutely LOVE it! This accommodation is perfection.

The house from Anne was one of the best I know in Finnland till now. Best Chance to recharge your battery’s. :)

nous avons séjourné 1 semaine chez Kati et tout étais parfait , le logement il n'y a rien a dire tout est propre , c'est grand , il y a tout ce qu'il faut. nous sommes a 50min de Rovaniemi avec une route direct et très accessible. nous avons vue un soir des aurores boréales par la fenêtre , c'était magnifique. je recommande ce logement .

Porukkamme viikon mittainen majoittuminen kohteessa oli erittäin onnistunut. Suuri kiitos siitä kuuluu Matille, joka oli erittäin vieraanvarainen ja perusteellinen kaikessa kommunikaatiossamme. Persoonallisesta maalaistalosta Suomutunturin läheltä löytyi kaikki, mitä tarvitsimme. Vahva suositus :)

Great stay at a beautiful spot on top of the mountain (fell). Close walking distance to slopes and ski paths. A plus was the close by hotel where the closest restaurant can be found.

I stayed here with a group of friends. We had plenty of room, the lodge was very comfortable and all in all it was a very relaxing week. The host was very friendly and proactive in her communication.

Ein tolles Cottage mitten im Wald mit Blick auf den See. Entspannung pur! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation mit Sari sowie der Check-in klappten perfekt. Absolute Empfehlung, vielen Dank für die schönen Tage :)

I had such a great stay. The cabin was very cozy and it is located in the middle of a winter wonderland. Great hiking trails and skiing lopes are easy to reach. The cabin has all you need and the built-in sauna is fantastic. I can definitely recommend a stay!! Thank you!

Das wunderschöne Blockhaus liegt mitten im Wald, mit wenig Nachbarn und somit toller Privatsphäre. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man einen See und mit dem Auto schnell die Hauptstraße, die in alle Richtungen führt. Im ca. 5km entfernten Ruka, gibt es sehr viele Möglichkeiten an Outdooraktivitäten teilzunehmen. Fündig wirst Du auf "ruka fi", wir haben einige getestet und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Mit Hilfe der Aurora App konnten wir sogar den richtigen Abend finden & mit der Handykamera Polarlichter einfangen. Wir hatten die Unterkunft einige Zeit im Voraus gebucht und Ulla hat all unsere Fragen zeitnah beantwortet und somit zu einem Gelingen eines tollen Aufenthaltes beigetragen. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Lappländer denen wir begegnet sind, waren alle sehr freundlich & zuvorkommend. Die Weite & überschaubare Anzahl von Menschen, fernab von Massentourismus, haben uns sehr gefallen. Weihnachten im Schnee einfach zauberhaft.

We had a fabulous week. Villa was very clean and really spacious. It had everything we needed. It was cosy and warm and the beds were really comfortable. location next to reindeer park was great as easy to do some excursions. really peaceful location yet near to salla for groceries etc, Would definitely visit again.

What an amazing place to stay it was totally perfect for our family of 6 children. The house was home from home and the kids loved the gymnasium where the boys slept. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Cooking was was after a trip to the supermarket. The grounds were enormous and so beautiful. The outside sauna and kota were so much fun. As for Marja and Pierre, they are the most incredible, loving wonderful people. They were so kind and helpful. They helped with husky and reindeer rides and with hiring a car and trains/buses. True human angels that made our holiday extra special. I will forever treasure cooking sausages with Pierre on the open fire. They cooked us a delightful meal on New Year’s Eve and welcomed us like family. Thank you so much. You have touched our hearts xx

We had a great stay in Ruka. The atmosphere was very cozy and quite. We enjoyed the free fire place and sauna. The kitchen was well equiped and big enough to cook our meals. For sure you need a car but then everything is nearby - supermarket, restaurants (the pizza at Pizzaria Ruka is very good), national park, etc. We can recommend the Airbnb!

Erittäin siisti ja hyvin varusteltu mökki rauhallisella paikalla, mutta palveluiden lähellä, hiihtoladut vieressä. Hyvät kuivatustilat ja iso eteinen. Ohjeet saapumiseen olivat hyvin selkeät. Skibus hieman hankalan matkan päässä, mutta lasketteluhissille ajoi parkkiin 5min ja Rukan kylään käveli järven poikki 2km. Kaikin puolin mökistä ja etenkin keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Ainoa pieni miinus oli hyvin jyrkät tikapuut parvelle, joten ei sovellu ihan pienille lapsille, mutta isommille kyllä. Suosittelen ja menisin kyllä uudelleen.

Erinomainen sijainti laskettelijalle. Helppo sisäänkirjautuminen. Hyvät sängyt ja kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi huoneistosta. Ihana valtavaara ja hiihtoladut sekä k-market lähellä. Omistajan kanssa erittäin mukava vuorovaikutus. Pekka on avulias ja joustava isäntä. Erinomainen hinta-laatu-suhde.

Upea kohde! Kaunis kelomökki, joka oli sisustettu tyylikkään tunnelmallisesti. Mökissä erittäin hyvin varusteltu keittiö. Sijainti on erinomainen. Sopi hyvin lapsiperheelle.

It was a really nice experience to stay in a traditional Finnish wooden house. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was a short drive to Ranua Wild Life Park and to the local supermarkets. Warm welcome from the hosts!
