Cuckoo Chalet was the best place to rest our heads for our trip to Harpers Ferry. It was the perfect spot, close to the history of the town we were so eager to explore; clean, homey, and comfortable. If I head back to Harpers Ferry, I’ll be hoping to stay at the Cuckoo Chalet. :)

We had an amazing stay at the Duke Den! The location was perfect and the space was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and nicely decorated. Our host was very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Tracey really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Great place to stay and we would recommend it highly.

Michael was an amazing host. He was very helpful and very communicative whenever we had a question. The house was beautiful, clean, and very enjoyable!

My family and I really enjoyed our winter stay at the Lodge! We had 6 adults, 3 kids, and 2 infants and really enjoyed the fireplaces, cavernous downstairs recreation space, and proximity to skiing and antiquing. I also was amazed by how great the space looked for a larger group in summer: I could imagine 16+ people (mostly without small kids) having a great summer retreat with the pond, basketball and tennis courts, plentiful seating, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The location is beautiful (especially when it snows!) and the house was spacious and well taken care of/furnished. Also lots of board games etc available. Amy was also really helpful and proactive, offering to let us leave later on check out day due to a snow storm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape near Harpers Ferry!

Comfortable and well supplied home. We enjoyed the skiing. It’s an easy drive to plenty of ski parking which we opted for as the ski-in ski-out was too far for us. Liked the board games with our grandkids in front of the fireplace and appreciated the Wood being provided. (Under the front stoop). Comfortable beds & well stocked kitchen ware. We cooked in every meal. Thank you Mary & Chris.

This was a beautiful home away from home get-away. My husband and I had our first anniversary here and it was perfect from our fast paced life. We had our work phones and emails off and it truly served as the best disconnect from work and home life. We walked thru the property as much as we could to take in the scenery but it rained and was very windy, we still enjoyed the Airbnb itself. The property has such beautiful history and views. We are already talking about our next vacay here during the spring and summer to enjoy the property, swimming hole, trails and more. If you’re looking to disconnect and unwind from the world for a few days (especially as a VA local) this is your spot.

We stayed with 3 other couples&2 toddlers. FULLY STOCKED: they really go above and beyond to have anything you'd need. things that you may need to bring to other rentals, they've got! we easily found lighters, toilet paper, baby plates/mats/utensils, firewood, games, skewers for BBQ, pack n play, high chair, bouncer, and a chest full of children's toys, towels, Tupperware, spices LUXURIOUS VIBE: beautiful grand room view, stunning fireplace inside, reclining couches, nice barware/glassware, enormous basement TV, Nintendo switch/Wii/Super Nintendo, nice deck. you really feel fancy at this place. it feels like no expense is spared. they even left us a bottle of wine of a local winery, which was wonderful AMENITIES: we spent a lot of time playing pool and ping pong down in the basement. we also were sure to use the hot tub and fire pit PET/KID FRIENDLY: supplies plus fun downstairs area makes it great for partying after bedtime. plenty of toys, bowls and a yard for dogs WE LOVED IT!!! 5/5

Great accommodations for group trips. There are a number of in home activities; games, karaoke, hot tub, etc readily available. Proximity to Massanutten slopes was the selling point for our group of beginner skiers NOT interested in ski in/ski out options.

Beautiful house with lake view. Easily accommodates large families, with plenty of space and multiple seating areas. Everyone in our group had a great time and we are already planning our next stay.

The house is beautifully furnished and just off the piste. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. It was also really well stocked - from the excellent book collection to the Yorkshire Tea (I’m British)- everything has been thought of! We would love to return.

Shannon’s home exceeded out expectations! It worked so well for our large family. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The large table for 10 was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware, platters and trays. The pantry in the laundry room gave us just the space we needed for groceries. We would definitely book again! Thank you for the space to create wonderful memories😊

We had a wonderful quiet weekend getaway. The place looked just like it did in the pictures. Clean & modern kitchens and baths. The beds were very comfortable & well made with fresh linens and towels. All the amenities were there as described and there were lots of board games for one to choose from. We enjoyed our late nights watching the large TV & playing ping pong. Comfortable sofas to lounge on and lovely clean huge decks to enjoy the view. Highly recommend & will definitely love to go back again.

An all around great cabin. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and movie theater. Affordable with a responsive host.

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

We had a great stay at Lake Anna chalet. Everything we needed for a comfortable weekend, beds were very comfortable everything was extremely clean and kitchen was very well equipped. Thank you Christine, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We had the absolute best stay at Melanie's place. Four of us friends stayed for the weekend just to relax and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was so cozy and peaceful, especially with all of the snow. The pillows and towels were excellent, which a lot of places are lacking in. Also close to some really good food options! But we cooked there as well and had everything we needed. We also loved the fireplace. We would LOVE to stay again. Thank you for making us feel at home!

Lake Effect was the perfect place for our family vacation. The family enjoyed it, we spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the lake and weather, which was amazing. Since I had to work a couple of hours a day before truly vacationing, the internet was somewhat an issue until I found out that if you are streaming on Samsung, the WiFi will be very in and out... so just don't turn on the TV until you are done with work or Streaming using the WiFi. Not sure also, it could have been Comcast, seeing that they have been having issues with their internet services throughout the state and Pa. We certainly were pleased and Paul and his wife were outstanding... We will be back. The Latchford's - Greg and Helen and Family

The chalet was perfect for our family. Very warm and cozy. The boys did ice fishing, played in the snow, and there were many games to play inside. Jena was very responsive to our needs and very friendly. This is our 2nd stay and we would use it again!

Our stay was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend this place and we would definitely come back.

The Birdhouse was just what we needed! My family needed a quick getaway for some rest and relaxation. The property was everything we could have asked for. Cleanliness was top notch and the home was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The hot tub and theater were big hits with the kids! Our kids also thought it was very fun to have tv's in every room. The home is also cozy and well decorated! We would be happy to come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil place to hunker down for a few days! Wish we could have stayed a few more days.
