We had a great experience at Beth’s great place! We arrived set to have a full agenda. Plans changed as a result of a weather front. We found ourselves with time to relax and enjoy the home. Everything was as described with the setting beyond expectations. We spent an entire afternoon overlooking the water and catching up on valuable family time. Our dinner at Jake’s a mile away capped off a perfect weekend. We will be back again

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

Very nice place to stay. Decorating and function are thoroughly thought out. Kind and organized hosts. 2 flights of stairs, so not suitable if you are limited physically. You won't be disappointed staying here.

I have stayed here at Nancy's place 4-5 times. I travel to the north country for work a lot. It is a great place to stay, always clean. Host is very caring and responsive, even making sure to clear the drive and sidewalks as soon as it snows. The host and I were kidding back and forth about me writing a review(I generally don't write reviews).... I told her no because I wanted to keep this gem for myself! It really is a home away from home and the Host's make the beautiful stay even better.

Exactly what we were looking for. Quite village setting close enough to major town amenities.

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Great stay! The view is unbeatable! The cabin was so clean and cozy! The bed was SO comfy! We took advantage of the games and the espresso machine! it had everything we needed and wanted.

Great experience staying at Rachel's with 2 hockey families. The house was very clean and well stocked, the hosts were very responsive and the layout was perfect for our needs. We felt right at home when we got there with clear instructions and easy access. The girls were happy in the room with the bunk beds and their own tv, the boy were even happier sleeping on the pull out in the basement also with their own tv. The upstairs rooms were very comfortable for the parents. The two bathrooms were very clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Janik’s place for the St Lawrence marathon. It was the absolute perfect home base for the race - close to the finish line and morning shuttle busses. The view was gorgeous and the access to the walking path was incredible. Thank you Janik!

The space was cozy and very comfortable. The owners responded quickly to us and the house guide made it easy to find things and close up properly. I would definitely stay here again.

One of the highlights was how perfect the space was for our family. The room with five beds felt like a cozy camping adventure, but with all the comforts of home! It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to settle in right away. We also really appreciated the thoughtful little touches—especially the coffee, which was such a treat in the morning. You can tell the hosts put care into creating a warm, welcoming space. Highly recommend for families looking for a restful, memorable stay! We recommend a day trip to Alex Bay! So much fun! --- Want it more casual or more formal?
