I booked this place for my climbing club for our spring break climbing trip to red river gorge. We had seven people stay in the house and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a really nice and cozy place to stay and very affordable which was a huge plus for us because we were all college students. There were no problems with staring here and we had no complaints. This place definitely deserves five stars.

Leah’s place worked out great for our hiking trip. Close by, quiet, clean and comfortable. Leah was quick to respond and a great host. Would recommend.

Staying at the cabin was amazing! It was easy to find, super clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit was a highlight—we had so much fun hanging out and making memories together. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable trip!

The home is beautiful, everything was clean. It is a peaceful, private getaway. We loved the hot tub after hiking in the red river gorge. It was easy to get places. And Margo is a great host, she always quickly answered questions and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome.

Our family stayed at Kyle's place for a long weekend stay in Red River Gorge and we LOVED it! The house was nice and clean and easy to find in a peaceful neighborhood and the space was perfect for us. It's tucked in the corner surrounded by open field and woods behind the house. The back deck and screened porch were perfect for morning peace and coffee. The 'Welcome' book with all the local things to do and dining, supplies for S'mores, and the guestbook was a very nice touch that we haven't seen in other Air Bnb's. Also, having access to the garage is great especially when you have to load the luggage when it's raining outside. We would definitely stay here again when we visit RRG.

We were very pleased with the location and the home. Kristiana was very nice, responsive, and informative. We enjoyed the quiet location, hot tub, and fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed including coffee, cream, and filters. I suggest bringing some ice if you are going to need quite a bit. There isn’t an ice maker. The home was spotless and very nice. If I had a complaint, it would only be one and that would be that the beds are rather too hard for my comfort. We would choose to stay there again however.

Amazing place! Central to a lot of the hiking and close to restaurants in the area. Had a smoke alarm beeping when we first arrived but the host was extremely responsive in helping us fix it! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cute little cabin! Perfect location. kitchen was stocked for cooking (pots & pans) . Towels for showers, and lots of blankets through out the house. Very clean house.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Great location will definitely stay again

It was as described, Had an issue on Sunday. Jessie & Scott were quick to respond, it was nothing they did or could have prevented. But moved swiftly to rectify . I’d stay there again. And recommend to others. 5 star service and much quicker than the Holiday Inn.

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Andrew's place was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again! Check in was easy and the place smells SO GOOD(like a spa). We stayed for 3 nights and because of where the house is located, we were able to try 5 different restaurants and literally all of them were just a 5 minute drive away. The apartment had every amenity you could need and the bed was incredibly comfy considering we needed it for 3 sleeps. Andrew is a great host and we hope to be back soon!

We had the most amazing spring break & stay at the cabin! The location is great, the hosts very responsive, and the cabin is furnished with all the necessities in the kitchen, and super comfy beds. Highly recommend!

Nice location near Red River Gorge and good local restaurants but still feels private and tucked away. The hot tub and back porch were awesome! The space was cozy and enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. The description is accurate in that 4WD really is a need-to-have for getting up to the property but there is a lower down parking spot too any car can get to (just have to cart your stuff up). The highway view and noise aren’t a big deal but is worth noting (as the listing says). I wish the beds were more comfortable but overall still enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place to stay. Perfect place for older kids to go out a keep busy with trails and exploring on the property. Also if you wanted to bike or walk. Nestled nicely to the mountain base.

Wendell was so kind and checked in with us every day during our stay. Such a beautiful and spacious cabin for my husband and I, and our two dogs. Will definitely be checking to see next time we are at the gorge if this cabin is available. Loved our stay!

This mountain hideaway was great. It was clean, convenient, and comfortable. The attention to little details is what will bring us back. First, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Next, the coffee situation. When a description says that there is a coffee pot available, it's difficult to decide whether to bring pods or grounds. Yi took the guess work out of it and provided the pot, the filters, and a selection of prepackaged coffees. Next, TVs (with streaming apps!) in the bedrooms. The perfect way to wind down after a day of hiking. The hot tub was fabulous. An even better way to relax after hiking! My personal favorite - hooks! I really appreciate lots of places to hang the coats, hats, backpacks... Finally, the location is perfect. Minutes from the natural Bridge State Park in one direction and the Nada Tunnel in the other. We also discovered a new restaurant - The Toad - best sliders and fries I ever had! Overall, a great place to enjoy the Red River Gorge area.

Michelle’s place was better than the pictures! My family and I felt right at home, and every hike and excursion I planned was within a 10-15 minute drive from Candlelight Cabin. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights during Spring Break. The house is situated on the hill side. The drive up and into the driveway isn't for the faint of heart. Luckily we were able to make a 5 or 6 point turn to get us going the right way to get back down the hillside or I'm not sure how we would have been able to get out. Food & gas are super close by to get easy things and hiking is not too far off of that. Dawn has a great book of all the trails for RRG as well as good places to try and eat. The house was perfect for 2 adults & 3 kids. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and loved being able to see the sun going down or having a fire in the firepit that was close by. The stairs up to the 2nd floor were a bit hard to navigate for my 3 year old since they are a very tight spiral staircase but other than that the house was perfect.
