I really loved this place. Perfect for a climbing trip to the Red River Gorge! Only about 10 minutes from Muir Valley, and it’s off one of the main roads in the area making it pretty easy to find. The hosts were super friendly and responsive, too! We had our dog, and walking him in the area is a bit tough, but I think that applies to almost anywhere in the RRG. Overall, wonderful place and would definitely stay there again!

Leah’s place worked out great for our hiking trip. Close by, quiet, clean and comfortable. Leah was quick to respond and a great host. Would recommend.

Great location and close to several of the activities in the Red River Gorge. House had a lot of character, plenty of space and everything we needed to have a wondeful stay. Bonus was the hot tub and the fire pit. We never got a chance to use the fire pit, but it was nice being there in case we did. Great view off the back porch to either watch the sun rise, or relax in the evening.

I’m telling you, this was amazing if I could give her 50 stars I would. We had rented a different place upon getting there with all the past flooding and all that we couldn’t get to the place we had originally rented I got on Airbnb found Jeniffer‘s place booked it and within less than an hour she sent us all the information to get checked in and everything very responsive to any questions we had the instructions that she gave us with all the detailed information about where to eat and things to do and trails to hike. I can’t say enough about her as a hostabout her house about the whole ordeal. I will definitely be booking with her again amazing amazing amazing it doesn’t even do it justice.

Despite a few issues with broken things, like the ice maker and the shower head, and one outlet this place was so cute and cozy. The basement was awesome and great for a gathering. The beds were really comfy, and the hose was very good at communicating. Would stay again and would recommend

Jim was a great host. He called us on the day of our arrival to let us know we could check-in early. Our kids loved the pool table and it was close to all of the hiking trails we wanted to go to. Will be back.

My family and I had a great time staying at the Yellow Door Cottage. It is conveniently located to all the activities of the RRG plus all the amenities you may need for a stay. Samantha was very attentive with any needed communication and always helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend her place and will definitely be staying again in the future.

The cottage is in a lovely location, tucked away behind a big house on top of a hill (the glorious 8 seater hot tub is on the big house porch, about 50ft through the grass from the cottage’s door). Sonya was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The cottage was lovely with everything one could possibly need, and very clean and welcoming. She has five dogs who are all sweet little balls of mischief and fun who kept me company during my visit. This was probably my favorite Kentucky Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, highly recommend!

Staying at the cabin was amazing! It was easy to find, super clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit was a highlight—we had so much fun hanging out and making memories together. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable trip!

We loved staying at LuAnn's place! She was so accommodating and helpful. Great, private location. Best parts: comfortable bed and clean home. Hot tub was also an unexpected bonus! We would definitely stay again!

We spent the weekend for my twin daughters 10th birthday and had an amazing time. We practically spent thr whole weekend in the pool but still plenty to do in the house due to rain. We truly had a stress worry free weekend. This house has all the amenities you could think of and then some. Perfect location and privacy yet still close to the gorge and scenery and all the stores. Would definitely stay again, hoping to in the future actually.

Sonya was an amazing host! She was welcoming and laid back. Her tiny home made us feel AT home. We enjoyed the hot tub and the many visitors aka dogs:) We had literally everything we needed and kicked back at the fire many nights. She kindly supplied wood, which was huge! Would recommend.

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and being able to share meals together and the close proximity to trails.

This was a great getaway spot for me, my partner, and our dog. This was a very relaxing and quiet location. The hot tub was amazing and there is games provided here as well! I will mention when you’re driving up the hill, waiting to see the sign that says “timber” for your turn, it is a little further up til you may think! Overall we had such a great experience and I highly recommend this spot. Thank you Mary and Team!

Loved our stay here it was perfect for my boys and I with our two pups wonderful area close to town and the gorge. Lots to do. Great host and nice response.

Beautiful cabin, very cozy. Comfortable loft bed to sleep and lots of space in the living room for travel items. The back porch offered a scenic view of surrounding nature. Owner gave clear and concise instructions throughout the entire check-in process. Common area was extremely useful. Has everything you need: Stoves for cooking, utensils, plates, cups, picnic table, board games (unexpected but loved), coffee maker, a large refrigerator (there is a smaller one in cabin as well), and two private bathrooms with showers). Was a peaceful stay, thank you.

This was such an awesome stay! It felt like a cozy home away from home. I worried my small car would struggle up the hills but we got through easily. would definitely book another stay!

I have never been more satisfied with a trip. From the moment we walked in and until we walked out- we always feel right at home. Great spot for anyone trying to get away for the weekend! The cabin was perfect for our family and dog. It was cozy and clean. Would definitely return for future visits. Close to a grocery store, and a short drive to many attractions and restaurants.

Michael was a super gracious host and even offered to mail back my husbands shifts he forgot on the back porch. The cabin was wonderful and we would definitely stay again on subsequent trips to the red. Nice games and puzzles as well!
