Isobel was a great host, very friendly and accommodating! This is a lovely place to stay in the Herefordshire countryside, the house has beautiful period features and homely charm. We had a wonderful weekend here and would highly recommend.

Excellent house spotlessly clean lovely and large for 8 of us .beds comfy showers great.kitchen well equipped.games room great and although weather dreadful managed to use hot tub once.easy drive to Aberystwyth plenty of pubs there.children loved their holiday home .great with stair gate top of spiral stairs thank u recommend to families beautiful place

The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

Had a great stay at Becky's place. It was lovely and relaxing. Becky was warm, friendly, informative and hospitable. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and there was also a continental breakfast provided (which wasn't expected but a very welcome and appreciated bonus). The property was within walking distance of a lovely pub and there were lovely views all around. Becky responded quickly to messages, and would definitely stay again but for longer.

Fantastic hosts. Lovely spot for star gazing and listening to bird song. Great walking all around, peace and quiet. Need wheels as nearest shop is 15 mins drive. Lovely old property with great views. Highly recommended for those loving nature and tranquility.

This was a real treat ; with beautiful furnishings , location , and a very comfortable bed . The breakfast , and welcome treats were amazing - Thank you . The location is beautiful- over looking the hills , there is an area outside the room in the garden to sit , relax and take it all in . Thank you so much ; i had such a restful stay .

We only stayed one night as we were stargazing locally. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. Lovely mattress and pillows. The facilities in the room were perfect and the breakfast of cereal and toast was just what we needed. Marion was welcoming and warm upon check in. We didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Very nice stay with Julie. Tea on arrival was very welcome and after my long walk. Breakfast timed to accommodate my walk starting times. Lots of choice at breakfast. Great location in centre of Crickhowell. Very quiet and peaceful.

The Pantry was just what we wanted, John made us feel very welcome and is a great host. The property is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely. The pub two doors down is a brilliant place for an evening meal with great atmosphere.

I spent two nights at Lisa’s house to do some hiking in the area. Lisa was welcoming and I was able to take my dog. Lisa’s home is clean and cosy and her collie is really sweet and friendly with other dogs. I had some nice chats with Lisa and a great breakfast!

It was our second stay at Sian and Stephen’s. The place is beautiful and they are not just excellent hosts but also lovely people. We were lucky after 7 years to say hello to the same dog, William, who is just adorable, and anew addition, his sister Flora. Both host offer plenty of advice of what walks/hikes are worth doing, where to eat, so one feels well looked after. We will be back soon enough.

Ian and Hanneke were extremely friendly and responsive from booking to check out! They went the extra mile with recommendations and are clearly super proud (as they should be!) of their place and their surroundings too. The water pressure on the showers was 👌They were often around the hostel and keen to chat, so I'm sure if we were short of something to do we wouldn't be short of an idea! Heather’s place was the perfect base for our Snowdonia adventure! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—close enough to the national park for easy access to hiking trails and breathtaking scenery. Heather was a wonderful host, providing clear communication and helpful tips about the local area. We truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and we’d highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Snowdonia. Thank you, Heather, for making our trip so memorable!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Norma and JC's beautiful home in Brecon. I was travelling for work purposes and chose this listing because of its central location. From booking Norma was really responsive. I asked to check in early because of my arrival time and this was no problem. The space itself is perfect. Tucked away at the back of the property with its own bathroom so it feels very private. Very comfortable bed, lots of thoughtful touches such as bottled water and an electric blanket. In the morning I arrived downstairs to warm pastries and cereal and yoghurt all left out for me. Lovely! The house is really handy for Brecon. With all the shops and restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. I didn't get much chance to explore because I was there for work but it is definitely an area I would like to return to after this short visit. Thank you to Norma and JC for such a lovely, warm and welcoming stay.

After a busy couple of weeks and having just hosted a party for 50 people we were looking for a peaceful retreat for some R&R to end our 20th anniversary celebrations. Tall Johns House did not disappoint. The Manor House is beautiful and the walled garden was a peaceful setting where we ended up falling asleep in the sunshine. The surrounding area is stunning with beautiful views of the Brecons. Archie welcomed us and was on hand to help us and help with any queries including recommendations for a meal that evening and a taxi home. He even ran us over to the pub to pick up our car the next day. No review would be complete without mentioning the fabulous breakfast. A real treat which set us up for the day. Thank you Elizabeth and Archie for a lovely stay, which was everything we were looking for - we were thoroughly relaxed and rested by the time we left!
