I didn’t want to leave. Beautiful gardens, very nice caretaker. Modern kitchen. Beds are so comfortable. Marc and Francine are the best out of the 4 Airbnb’s since September. Large wrap around verandas. The bathroom is huge. Nice neighborhood close to everything. I will miss it,

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The accommodations were spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were beautifully designed, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect—just 30 minutes from the airport, yet tucked away in a peaceful and secluded setting in the mountains. Getting there was a bit tricky, —we should have read the instructions which the host provided us prior to our stay, so that was on us. Google Maps doesn't properly direct you to the entrance for the Airbnb. Highly recommend this place for its convenient proximity to San Jose and the airport, with the added bonus of a tranquil and secluded setting.

The property was amazing, great amenities, very comfortable and spotless. Our hosts where so helpful and responsive, we will certainly be back!

Ein kleines Paradies! Ursula war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Haus und der Garten haben alle Wünsche mehr als erfüllt. Es war alles noch viel schöner, als auf den Bildern. Der schöne Pfau war sehr freundlich und hat dem ganzen einen ganz besonderen Flair gegeben. Danke, dass wir da sein durften! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Everything was great, the scenery, the trails, the swimming pool. Beautiful house with lots of green everywhere around. Nice and responsive hosts. Wish we had stayed at least 2 nights.

This home is beautiful. Such amazing quality stuff, comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Dominique was always so responsive and considerate. It came with a maid 3 days a week and she was so sweet and respectful. We definitely would stay there again.

Estuvimos 9 días y todo estuvo muy bien, sitio muy seguro y fueron muy atentos a cualquier cosa que necesitaríamos. El lugar muy accesible al aeropuerto y otras vías. No sentimos muy bien! Recomendado!!

Marcelo's home is a gem in the heart of San José. It was the perfect stop for us to rest our heads on a long drive home. Conveniently located near the highway and commercial shops but still tucked away in a private, quiet neighborhood, this was the perfect balance for us. We slept great and it had everything we needed. Also, the home is really beautiful, as the owner is an architect and designed it himself! Great style, great taste and overall a comfortable place to land on our way through San José. Also, he was very patient with us since we hit traffic on the mountain road. Communication was great. Highly recommend.

Jorge was very communicative and helpful. We had a small issue with a broken lock and he kindly drove over to fix it. Houses don’t weather well in Costa Rica and the house has a few areas of wear and tear, but there are far more positive than negative aspects. It is spacious, modern, very clean and decently equipped. The bedrooms are a real positive as they’re large and the beds are very comfortable with spotless linen. The bathrooms are fine (there’s lots of them!) and the water pressure and temperature are both good. The seating area in the open plan kitchen is comfy, the furniture is really clean and the TV has Netflix etc. The house is well placed for visiting lots of local attractions and there are some nice restaurants very close by. The neighbourhood is quiet and family orientated and felt super safe. It is naturally windy and cool compared to other local neighbourhoods. Thank you very much, Jorge. The house was amazing. Clean, well stocked, and decorated beautifully. We couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space. Cristina was delightful and always responsive to our needs. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat, and they were just what we needed. We loved our time here!!

Perfection! 5 stars and then some! Rob was incredibly helpful before, during and after our trip. He truly cares about his guests and wants them to have the best stay. PLEASE take him up on his very generous offer of airport pick up and renting one of his cars. I foolishly turned him down and decided to rent at the airport. The driving near SJO is CRAZY. I regretted my decision immediately upon arriving at the car rental office. Rob checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect, and, of course, it was! Wojtek helped us find our way to the house and showed us around as well as came to say goodbye before we left. He was also incredibly gracious and does a superior job maintaining the stunning property. Both responded to our questions immediately. Do not miss the hike to el Sabio Macizo, the 450+ year old tree near the property. It is magnificent! The pool and view are beyond amazing! Delightful Druid and coffee awaited our arrival. Pura Vida!

On a passé un superbe séjour. Le logement est spacieux, très propre, bien situé et il ne manque de rien. Marianela est très sympathique, très réactive et nous a accommodé pour une arrivée plus hâtive et une nuit supplémentaire. Nous avons grandement apprécié. Nous recommandons sans hésitations.

Exceeded our expectations. We loved the country feel and the rabbits and trampoline for our son. Smart TV, kitchen had eggs and bananas and seasonings... The host was super friendly and I would definitely stay here again!

Rocio place was amazing private comfortable and enjoyable great to have a peaceful stay in San Jose. Love the trees in the house and all the windows. I will definitely booked again in my next trip.

Maria's home was very comfortable for our group. plenty of space and even privacy because of the layout. There was added comfort for some in the group that rhe home is right at the manned security gate for the neighborhood. We ventured our and took a 15-20 minute walk into the neighborhood to have an authentic breakfast. I'd highly recommend Maria's home. Maria was very responsive to use whenever we needed her and clearly cares for her beautiful home.
