Great stay tucked in Alpine Lake. Very quiet with plenty to do within 30 minutes. I love staying in Alpine, this was my first time staying at this home and I have no complaints!

My wife and myself were looking for some peace and quiet also a place to spend her birthday weekend we found it. The cabin is off the road all by its self and the views are great. We had some storms roll through and knock out the power for 6 hours. Laura was at the cabin within 20 minutes to make sure we had what we needed and to keep us updated. We will definitely be back!

Mark was friendly. The cabin was very clean all around. It is tucked in the woods with good privacy and a relaxing sound of the creek in the back. The location was perfectly in center of many amazing hiking places. My family enjoyed it everyday and we highly recommend it.

My spouse and I, along with our lab/beagle mix, stayed here between Christmas and New Years. The cabin was great! Photos don't do it justice. You can hear the creek from the back porch, which is fully enclosed and was perfect for our dog. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. The kitchen area had everything we needed to cook. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable, with clean linens and towels. The area around the cabin is great for walking--just beware of ticks if it's warm out. It was unseasonably warm, so we had to pick several off our dog after taking him for walks. We saw plenty of wild life during our stay, and the area is peaceful and calm. But you're not too far from Cheat Lake either, which has stores if you forget anything, and great pizza if you don't want to cook. We ended up leaving a day early because we didn't want to get stuck in a snow/ice storm, but that's a risk you take in the mountains in winter. Overall we highly recommend!

This cabin in nestled in the back woods but it was perfect for our family. our son loved the hot tub and the stream in the back yard. the cabin was extremely clean. its a great weekend getaway stay.

This is a great cabin. Relax in the ample outdoor space and listen to the creek. Plenty of space. Modern construction gives security and comfort with the essence of a rustic retreat.

This was my first time using Airbnb and thankfully Mark and his cabin made it an amazing experience! Leading up to the trip Mark was quick to respond to any questions that I had and gave clear directions to the cabin. The cabin itself was beautiful and the views were amazing. I highly recommend Mark and his cabin to anyone looking for a quick getaway not too far from the highway.

Carla is truly a one of a kind host! She gave so many local recommendations well in advance so that we could plan our trip accordingly. She proactively gave us info on road conditions, stores nearby, and communicated every detail you’d want from a host. The house itself was perfect for our group of mom friends and our daughters. Carla has the house stocked with everything you’d need and more PLUS it was spotless upon arrival. She has so many board games and entertainment at the house that we did not need to leave the house with exception of going to dinner. We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish and look forward to returning!

great house and a great stay. the only thing was that we had a hard time figuring out the heat. it was hot downstairs and freezing upstairs.

Kayla & Carmen were absolutely wonderful hosts—extremely kind, responsive, and welcoming! Their cabin is adorable, spotless, and the perfect getaway for me and my pups. I truly appreciate them allowing well-mannered dogs to enjoy their beautiful space. It made our stay even more special! I will absolutely be coming back!

It was a great, eclectic cabin that was peaceful and private. We spent our early mornings drinking our tea and coffee on the porch watching the birds and listening to the waterfall. We spent our evenings having dinner, playing games, watching movies and listening to music. The sky lights are a nice touch and the clawed bath tub was very relaxing. There are a few State Parks from 15 minutes to one hour away that we went to. Also, there are a few small convenience stores with friendly people(Deerwood was my favorite and had pepperoni rolls). I would definitely recommend this place. 😀

We had the best stay in this cabin! They did not credit themselves enough for everything that was available for use! We were not familiar with the area and were pleasantly surprised that there was a security gate to enter the neighborhood and amenities, activities, indoor swimming and a lounge as a part of the rental as well! This was the perfect place for our family to visit and a great location to travel to other areas around as well! Thank you so much!

We just got back from another great anniversary trip with our 2 Vizslas. Bob shared his dry red wine this year. We now have had both sweet and dry! He came to check on us during to the cold spell and we assured him that the wood burner was keeping us warm. The dogs played outside, we played board games that were provided and we enjoyed cooking with the stove. It was our annual February get away that we take each year to Just have a few days to just enjoy nature and recharge. Thanks again Bob! See you next year.

We had a lovely time at Sherri's Cozy Home during the Terra Alta blizzard. It was quiet, peaceful, restful, lovely, clean, welcoming, roomy, and thoroughly enjoyable. Even our little dog enjoyed his stay. If you're looking for a nice cozy respite, this is definitely the place to go. And the breakfast nook was absolutely charming ❤️

We have stayed here before. The scenery absolutely stunning. A couple of minor (inexpensive) tweaks could make it spectacular. 1. TV’s are not expensive anymore. The tv in the downstairs bedroom sounds like a transistor radio and is t much bigger than one. 2. Upgrade the coffee pot and add a Keurig. 3. Pay someone to organize the cabinets to make some sort of sense. 4. This is for every house I’ve ever rented…..buy bigger and higher toilets. These toilets are kid sized. 5. Leave instructions for the fireplace or a note saying it’s not part of the rental.

Me and my now fiancés stay couldn’t have been better, Laura was very helpful and responsive with everything and her cabin was more than we expected through pictures! 100% will be staying here again!

We booked Mike's cabin for a long weekend to get out of the city and celebrate a friend's birthday. We absolutely loved our stay; the cabin was adorable, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the firepits/hammocks outside were lovely. The cabin is situated close to three different small towns which was great to walk around and check out local shops but enough into the woods that satisfied our desire to be out in nature. Mike was also very responsive to the couple of questions we had. Would recommend packing slippers if you plan to visit in the colder months. Overall would highly recommend and would love to return!

We had a great time at this place! The property was spacious enough for our group of 11 and could comfortably accommodate up to 15 people. It was nice, clean, and cozy. The host provided clear instructions throughout the house (kitchen, bathroom, walls, etc.), making everything easy to navigate. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and kitchen essentials, and the host even stocked ice melt, which came in handy due to the snow. However, the kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven) were on the smaller side for a large group, and one of the cooktop burners wasn’t working. Also, while the listing mentioned a community heated pool, it was quite cold which dampened our afternoon.

We had such a great stay in the Holler Hut. Misty clearly pays attention to detail with a very clean environment and lots of little amenities that made the stay welcoming and warm. Beautiful location great for any time of year.

My wife and I chose this place to be away from everything. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to home and very secluded and private. Everything was as described and was worth the price!

Such a beautiful and cozy place. We really enjoyed our stay here, especially with our dog. Carmen was really helpful with providing all the information and answering any questions we had quite quickly.

The wood paneling, doors and A-frame are beautiful features of the house. The wood-burning stove in the living room was ideal for a cozy winter stay. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of amenities- coffee drip machine, Keurig, air-fryer, spices, etc.. The sheets were perfect-100% cotton- as were the towels, and they have a memory foam mattress. I hadn’t been sleeping that well before I arrived, and my first night there I think I slept like nine hours. The decks are beautiful, with the front deck stocked with plenty of wood. Jake was always responsive and kind. We played guitar there, cooked, sang and caught up on much needed sleep. The cost was very reasonable. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat!
