Kielia was an incredible host. She is proactive at communicating and was very accommodating. She kindly offered for us to check-in early and check-out later, which made clean-up the next day completely seamless and not stressful. The cabin was beautiful and easy to find. It looks even better than the photos! We saw deer as we were driving up and we were amazed by the view of the pristine frozen lake. Kielia left cookies and a guestbook for us with all the house information and guidelines. It was extremely helpful! There were enough bed spots for everyone in our group and we had so much fun being together. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.

We were able to unwind and relax. There was a large picture window facing the lake. It was not unusual to see a doe with her fawn eating clover through the picture window early in the morning. We played pool in the evening and hung out. There were trails we explored and we hunted mushrooms. We mostly just took pictures of the mushrooms. We left the mushrooms for the wildlife to eat. There is always something to do at the Ruffed Grouse Lodge. Or not if you just wish to relax.

Hazel Hill was the perfect setting for a photographers retreat! The home itself is gorgeous, light-filled, and cozy - we loved the in-floor heating in the concrete floors. It made the home just so warm and inviting during the snowy winter weekend. The home was also impeccable and so clean when we arrived... And Brooke left us the cutest welcome basket with lots of goodies and treats! The property is stunning as well with gorgeous views all around. Our group enjoy the hike to the top of Timm's Hill (once we figured out how to get there!). The one thing we didn't get to take advantage of was the outdoor sauna - which is wood burning. No one in our group had experience starting a wood burning fire so we weren't successful at it going. There were plenty of other activities for us though, so it was fine! We highly recommend staying at Hazel Hill and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

This place was great! Had neighbors but still a quiet cabin on the lake! Water access would be great for family trip. Cabin was clean with lots of beds! Overall awesome place, awesome location, had a great time! We rode SXS and had plenty of local spots to hit up.

What a beauty! This place was idyllic. So peaceful. And the house was absolutely perfect; it had everything we needed and more. This property will not disappoint, from all the water toys, to the campfire at night, and everything in between. Everyone one of our family members had an amazing time.

Such a beautiful home! Location was very beautiful. Wood burning furnace on a cold snowy night in the living room was amazing. Gorgeous bird watching and beautiful trees. Lake access is really convenient. We enjoyed cross country skiing on the lake right from the patio. Thanks for having us!

Enjoyed our stay. The lake view was beautiful and the accommodations were wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit and peaceful evenings.

This cabin was beautiful, relaxing, serene surroundings. We were visiting family, so it was perfect. A nice escape after the businest of the holiday. It is extremely well stocked. We did not run out of anything. I can not say enough good things about this AirBnB. We are considering coming back next fall and definitely will check availability at this AirBnB first.

A group of us have been coming to the north woods for some grouse hunting for 26 years. This was the absolute best place we have ever stayed at. Place was extremely clean. Comfortable beds. Had a great kitchen for all our cooking needs. The lake was beautiful. We did catch a pile of crappies one evening. Adam was very responsive and a great host. We will be back for sure. Can't wait for next year at the 3 Loons cabin

Very peaceful, cozy getaway

We enjoyed staying at the cabin when we were up visiting family for Christmas. The layout is compact, but feels spacious with the vaulted ceilings and big windows looking out to the (frozen) lake. The kitchen and dining layout were comfortable to move around, with a table big enough for eating and playing board games while looking out on the beautiful scenery. The cabin was nicely furnished, it felt "Up North" without being kitschy, they even added a few Christmas decorations for us. It was also well-appointed, with extra towels and blankets, both for the beds and to cuddle up in on the couch. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

Torri was the Perfect Hostess. She replied to my questions spontaneously . We enjoyed our week having morning coffee by the fire pit and rode our S x S all day....endless trails. We also took a half hour ride (car) to the casino, which was very fun. My husband and his brother fished, caught little fishes...they are not fishermen. We will return!!!
