We recently stayed at Tarek's apartment in Old Town Alexandria for a few nights, and it was a great experience. Check-in was smooth and easy. Tarek provided clear instructions, and we had no issues accessing the apartment. The apartment is located on the 2nd (top) floor, so there are a few flights of stairs to navigate with your luggage, as mentioned by others. However, once settled in, the location was fantastic. It's within walking distance (20 minutes) to the subway and there's also a free trolley that runs on King street. There area plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops just minutes away, making it ideal for exploring Old Town Alexandria, and also D. C.. The apartment was well-stocked with plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and towels, which was a nice touch and made our stay more comfortable. The smaller bedroom only has one nightstand and no bedside lamp. The room being quite dark, made it challenging to get out. Overall we had a great time, and you can't beat the location.

We greatly enjoyed a week-long stay at Marco’s place. Very cozy, sleek 2bed/2bath basement unit a few minutes from the chaos that is Adam’s Morgan. U-Street itself is also busy and loud, but noise is nonexistent once inside. Good luck parking though — DC is one of the only cities I refuse to rent a car in. Just no point. Truly many great dining options and bars nearby. Also a quick bike ride or peaceful ~25 minute walk to downtown DC. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Brand spanking new condo. Tastefully done up. Extremely clean. Comfortable beds. Well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Joe is a perfect and gracious host. Very responsive and going over and beyond when asked if the sofa converted to a bed. We had a wonderful time exploring DC and loved getting back to our home away from home. Easy connectivity using either ride sharing or metro with the closest Benning road station.

Loved the place. Probably the cleanest and best smelling place I’ve ever stayed at. Great location and hopefully I can come back and stay with Mathias. Great communication as well.

Sean’s place was great, I felt right at home. The apartment was exactly how it looked in pictures, he provided every time you could think of and the neighborhood was quiet. i definitely would stay again.

Mark’s place was one of the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed. Space was beautiful, blight and cozy. Mark was very helpful and responsive. He even helped us bring up/down our baggage. There are many stores/restaurants within walking distance. My friend and I initially planed to go out for dinner but ended up going to Trader Joe’s, cooked dinner and stayed in because the apartment was so comfortable that we didn’t want to waste our time there. Rooftop was a magical. We watched the sunset in the evening, sunrise in the morning there. We had an amazing stay. Definitely want to stay again. 200% recommended!!!!

매우 만족합니다! AGU 컨퍼런스에 참가하기 위해 총 3명이 함께 머물렀는데 숙소의 크기와 위치, 의사소통 모두 만족했습니다. 숙소는 조용하고 깔끔하였고 3명이 머무르기 좋았습니다. 박물관 등 관광지와는 조금 거리가 있으나 도보 15분 내에 식료품점, 지하철 등이 있어 이동하기 편리하였습니다. 처음 입실했을 때, 숙소에 부족한 점들이 일부 있었으나, 친절한 호스트들과의 원활한 의사소통으로 모두 해결할 수 있었습니다. 다음에 또 워싱턴 dc에 올 일이 생긴다면 이 숙소에 다시 묵고싶습니다! :)

District Cottage was perfect for our spring break trip to DC. The place is spotless and meticulously maintained. We found the location great to explore all of DC walking. We also had no problem fining street parking in the neighborhood. Thank you Ivan and Stephen for your hospitality.

Stayed for a last minute weekend trip, beautiful neighborhood! Very dog friendly & the hosts were lovely and gave great recommendations. Would stay here again whenever we come back to DC!

Brian's apartment was perfect. It was as described and pictured; easily accessed upon check in with no surprises due to Brian's excellent communication and availability. I would definitely stay here again and I will refer my closest friends and family. I arrived 2 days ahead of my party and felt safe and at home. Brian's local recommendations were wonderful. I am looking forward to staying again.

George was a great host and his place was very nice. Quiet neighborhood and convenient location.

Kayne was welcoming, responsive and friendly. He offered assistance with location, parking and anything else I’d need. The condo was exactly as described, well appointed, comfortably furnished and inviting. The location is perfect for a stay in Alexandria; slightly off the main road, with everything within walking distance and easy access to DC, if desired. Check in and check out instructions were clear. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to return!

Christopher is a great host. He responded immediately to my messages. His place was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were the most comfortable of any AirBnB I've stayed in. We will return when we visit Washington D.C. again.

Four of us stayed for the weekend. Plenty of room and possibility the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever booked. The pictures don’t do it justice. The deck is an added bonus. We enjoyed our coffee out there each morning. Came for a show and all the sights so we didn’t explore the neighborhood but walked to brunch after checking out and wished we had more time in Shaw. We would definitely book this place again if we get an opportunity to return. The 2 flights of stairs are the only deterrent if you are someone who has a problem climbing them.

It was a great place to stay for a conference at the Gaylord. Very quick walk, maybe 4 minutes from the convention center. I also was upgraded to a 3 bedroom suite with a balcony. Very cool and spacious.

This was very convenient for a quick visit to attend a conference on Capitol Hill. It's a nice little one bedroom and everything was clean and comfortable. The roof deck is very cool. Solid communication all the way through. There was very minor thing that I know won't be an issue for the next tenant, which was that the code didn't work for the game/social room on floor 7. Again, absolutely not an issue as I could have easily gone to the building management to get access if I wanted to use that facility. The Robinson/Venter team I'm sure have already addressed it. Code for the roof deck worked fine which is a true gem. Great quality grills and an amazing view of the Capitol and the Washington Monument. I'll be back next time I go to DC and look forward to checking out the rooftop pool, in season! A+

Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.
