Our family of 6 enjoyed Carlos’ house very much. It was neat and had comfy beds. We were there a week, alternating between using the kitchen and eating out. It is only a little over a mile to Union market with great food choices. It was about 15 minutes to the National mall and sites. We weren’t able to spend time on the porch due to weather but it was nice looking and fun.

We go to DC pretty frequently, and we usually choose a different hotel or Airbnb each time just to explore the city. Not any more! My sister, husband, 4 month old baby and I all stayed here and would 100% book this accommodation again. Adam’s place was beautifully designed, super comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long weekend. As soon as we walked in I wished we could stay for longer, and it was a delightful home base to return to after the day’s activities. It was also in perfect walking distance (even with a little baby) to tons of restaurants. I highly recommend it!

We had a party of four adult males that utilized this property while we were visiting DC for work. The house layout was perfect and private with three of the Bed rooms on each of its own wing and each accompanied with a full bath. The common area/great room was a perfect gathering place.

This property was better than advertised. Great place to stay while visiting the DC metro area, peaceful and quiet neighborhood and very close to the national harbor where there are loads of things to do. My family and I enjoyed staying at this property and will gladly come back for more stays in future. The owner is very responsive and was helpful to all our needs.

Simple comfortable and clean. The place is self sufficient, done up just right and really good for a single person or a couple.

Harrison is a great host. He was very accommodating with helping me find a parking spot for my suburban. Harrison is very friendly. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make our experience great. Harrison and Nancy brought board games down for us to enjoy while we relaxed after walking around the city all day. The private enclosed space is nice for dogs and I bet is a great place to hang out in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, it was chilly when we were there so we weren’t able to fully enjoy the space. I highly recommend this beautiful convenient place.

Really enjoyed staying at this airbnb, excellent location close to the Metro, restaurants, and Capitol Hill. The space was exactly as described, and the bed linens really made sleeping here very comfortable. The fireplace really made the experience that much better. Mark was very responsive and helpful, quickly communicating and providing assistance when needed. Would definitely recommend this listing for those looking to stay in the DC area!

What a delightful gem! The robe on the bathroom door and a bottle of Fiji water in the fridge plus the cozy atmosphere made me feel welcome and right at home. When I am in town, I hope to stay here again.

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

It was comfortable and beautiful. The Johnson’s made me feel at home and safe. They provided all kinds of homely things, coffee, microwave, tea, trash bags and extra towels, soaps, lotions, pots and pans. This was truly like being at home. They talked to me like a friend not a customer. I would advise others to try this new way to stay in a hotel.

Abigail’s place was perfect for my family of four including two teens. The location was great and she was very communicative. It’s no secret that DC can be rainy. We had three umbrellas and planned to purchase a fourth if needed but Abigail had two umbrellas for use. There was a stocked Kurig for coffee before heading out each day and the bathroom was complete with essentials including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Abigail’s place was perfectly quaint and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay again!

What can I say about my stay at Villa de Bowie?! It was great! My room, let alone the whole house, was remarkable. DiMitri has been extremely hospitable and responsive. The house was clean, welcoming, and offered many amenities. The atmosphere was beautiful and the other guests, from a host of different backgrounds/careers, were respectful and pleasant. Dimitri is undoubtedly one of the best hosts I've met. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. the house was very clean and very well kept. Dimitri was more than accommodating and even offered to give me a ride if I needed it. I can't say enough about Dimitri and his house. I have already begun to recommend him to others.
