It is a beautiful location. I was very happy to just sit on the lanai and enjoy the amazing scenery. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. There's access to both a beach and a large pool. They even have a small sand section of the pool that was ideal for my granddaughters ages 1 and 2.

First time visiting Kauai and it was a great experience. Really appreciative of all the proactive communications before the stay.. answered all of my questions before I had them. We were also excited by all of the beach gear that made a visit to the sand a simple and fun affair. Well done!

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

We had a wonderful time, and the cabin was absolutely perfect. As described and we loved how the property allowed us to really be able to connect with the beauty and vibe of Hanalei and Kauai. Micco was very responsive and helpful. Close to the beach and everything Hanalei has to offer. If you’re looking for a down to earth authentic getaway do not hesitate to book this little cabin. Our stay at Jane’s was great! Check in/out was smooth, and there were a lot of resources we could use to navigate in the house + around the island. We appreciated that part most.

This is exactly as pictured! Great access to beach across the street, Hanalei town close by, but secluded, private, and cozy. The outdoor shower was cool but also good water pressure and a great shower (even while raining!). Hosts were so friendly, gracious, and had recommendations for local activities happening as well as giving us space. Ceiling fan kept things cool at night. And beach gear was exactly what was needed for us as visitors. Loved it, would absolutely recommend!

We felt very comfortable staying at Ian and Melissa’s house for six nights. The area was very quiet and peaceful sitting on the deck. The amenities were very thoughtful and helpful! One of the reasons we chose this place was the availability of beach equipment, bikes, etc. We really appreciated having beach chairs, coolers, snorkels, and more to use and not have to worry about renting anything. The house was very clean and the king bed was comfortable. We would stay here again!

We have stayed at a few airbnb's but Gilligans cottage was my favorite. Tony stocks the cottage with everything you might possibly need. No need to bring anything extra. The location is off the beaten path which makes it so special. It solidifies your presence on a Hawaiian island. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the road. Next time Tony, we are staying for 2 weeks. Anthony and I cannot thank you enough for your fabulous hospitality. You made our 25th anniversary special.

We loved it. Private place and perfect for a getaway. We will want to come back for sure. The host was great, truly professional and kind. If you don’t mind driving to get food or do things it’s perfect. It’s about a one mile walk to get food which we did a few times. We loved it.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage. This place exceeded our expectations as the property is located footsteps with plenty of privacy. The location is minutes away from the local shops and a national state park. The amenities are top notch. The views from the windows are spectacular. This rating deserves a 10 plus rating…we will be back! Thank you Kristina and Steven for being wonderful hosts!

This is a true ocean front view. Waves are literally hitting below the balcony and you have one on each floor! Parking right outside your front door! Ahlea communicates every stage of pre-check-in, to check-in and check-out. Lovely place. Very cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. Washer/dryer look new. What is there not to love? TY Ahlea for the opportunity to enjoy ourselves!

Awesome place! Superb location. We walked to Tunnels beach almost every morning and swam there. The water was quite calm in the morning and the waves got bigger later in the day. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The back porch is so nice even in the rain. We enjoyed seeing the animals. We would stay here again if we visit Kauai!

We had a great stay here and the value for the price was well worth it! Great being able to walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood and a short drive to Hanalei for anything you want to do in town. They had everything you’d need for beach going - chairs, towels, coolers, etc. Thanks!
