We chose Il Sole del Sodo because it had 6 en-suite rooms, a pool, was close to a town and a train station and had a well- regarded host who could provide extras like breakfast, dinners, cooking classes and olive oil tastings e.g. Claudia! While rustic, the villa’s charm and peaceful spaces draw you right in and Claudia’s hospitality is unsurpassed. The villa fronts to the road to Cortona and backs to a field of sunflowers. Our family and friends dined on the private patio and found a back way to walk up to Cortona for exercise. A unique and wonderful experience!

The villa was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Swimming pool with toys outstanding. Pizza oven and bbq fun to use and a beautiful peaceful garden. Walking distance into Castiglion which is a beautiful old town. Would love to return.

We had an amazing stay at Brigitta’s place, a perfect Tuscan hilltop house. It is super modern, extremely well fitted out, and really comfortable. Everything we needed was in the house. The views from the pool and hot tub from such a peaceful setting over the countryside are incredible. Brigitta was a great host - really friendly and helpful. Thanks, Brigitta, for a lovely stay, and we enjoyed your own made wine!

Our stay at Terra Antica was a dream. The location is perfect and the property and villa are exceptional. We were close enough to town to get to restaurants and shopping and then come back for some quiet relaxing time. There are numerous wineries to visit in the area. Day trips to other local towns are easy to do as well. The private jacuzzi was an extra bonus & we used it several times during our stay. We will be back again!

Stunning villa in a beautiful setting. Francesco gave excellent directions & the peace & tranquility out in the Tuscan countryside was wonderful. Francesco was exceptionally responsive & gave great local advice. We loved the little towns nearby and can’t wait to return soon. Highly recommended. Jack.

Willa jest cudowna, duża i przestronna. położona w cichym miejscu z pięknym widokiem na winogronowe drzewa, góry Toskanii. Jeśli chcesz w pełni poczuć atmosferę pięknej Toskanii, ta willa jest idealnym wyborem. Byliśmy tam rodziną z trójką dzieci i dzieciaki nie chciały wyjść z basenu który był podgrzewany do godziny 18. Gospodarz był bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny. Dziękujęmy i już nie możemy się doczekać kiedy znów wrócimy !

This an absolutely wonderful house with so many qualities inside as well as outside. Extremely well decorated and dreamy wonderful house inside, superb and beautiful views outside in a big and calming garden. Janine is fantastic, super friendly and extremely helpful. We forgot our passport and it was brought to Florence. This is just one example. Nothing to add, amazing to stay here.

Ho recentemente soggiornato in questo B&B e l’esperienza è stata davvero positiva. La struttura è accogliente e ben curata, con camere pulite e confortevoli. L’atmosfera è familiare e rilassante, ideale sia per un breve soggiorno che per una vacanza più lunga. Il punto di forza è sicuramente l’ospitalità: i proprietari sono gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a dare consigli su cosa visitare nei dintori Voto: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consigliato a chiunque voglia sentirsi come a casa anche lontano da casa!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la maison est très vaste et très agréable. Très bien équipée, très calme, lits très grands et matelas très confortables. Piscine et nombreuses terrasses absolument merveilleuses - vue extraordinaire sur la campagne toscane et San Gimignano au loin. Très joli tennis et jardin très bien entretenu et très agréable. Alessandro super hôte très accueillant et discret.

As fotografias publicadas não conseguem mostrar a casa como ela é, nem ao menos as fotos que eu fiz quando estive hospedado nela. Trata-se do que a propria Federica definiu como "Il Genio dell luogo" algo assim como o espírito do lugar e essas coisas só se manifestam para quem presta atenção ao mundo ao redor, fora do celular, então a própria casa é uma viagem dentro de outra viagem, felizes e afortunados os que percebem isso. Dito isso, Federica e seus dois filhos, Caterina e Lorenzo, tem o dom da elegancia e o dom do verdadeiro anfitrião, que não se nota mas que sempre está lá, para o que for preciso, recomendar um lugar para deixar o carro em Siena, trocar a lampada da luminária da cabeceira sem que ninguém note ou uma dica sobre um vinho. Na casa, no jardim e na piscina ás vezes me sentia num filme de Visconti e em outras como um personagem de um conto de Moravia, o que mais posso pedir ? não é para isso que a gente viaja ? Federica, Caterina, Lorenzo, obrigado pela viagem !

Foi uma estadia surpreendente, casa linda , lugar maravilhoso, vistas típicas da Toscana. Ao lado praticamente dos 3 restaurantes, também da igreja . Tudo muito limpo, organizado e de bom gosto . Valeu cada centavo investido .

Our family enjoyed our stay at the villa very much. Our only regret is not building in more time to simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings and amenities the villa provided. Our favorite day was the vineyard tour, personally coordinated and led by Francesca. We visited two local vineyards in the Chianti region, received wonderful tours and explanations of the wine-making process, tasted fabulous wines, and enjoyed a spectacular meal prepared by Elena, with almost all ingredients sourced from her farm and vineyard. Francesca provided excellent guidance and advice as we planned our trip, arranged for drivers when needed, and was very responsive to all of our requests. One note of caution - the mosquitos in the evenings at the villa are pesky, so bring your bug spray.

An absolutely stunning property in beautiful surroundings. Somewhere to unwind and relax with easy taxi and bus links into Sienna. Stefano was extremely helpful with everything we required during the stay. I couldn’t recommend enough staying here if you want to explore the area around Sienna or just relax in a beautiful place.

Our stay at the villa was absolutely incredible! The property (villa, surrounding grounds and the pool area) and the view were beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. it is exactly what you envision when thinking of a Tuscan villa. The house is large and clean, and it easily accommodated five adults with lots of extra room. The location is also very convenient, being close to a large grocery store and to the A1 highway. There are many restaurants and wineries nearby as well. Marco was a fantastic host who was very communicative and responsive. His parents (Ario and Santina), who live nearby, were lovely and friendly, while also giving us our space and privacy. Thank you very much Marco, Ario and Santina!!! We were sad to leave your beautiful villa and hope to be back soon!!

Mel is a fantastic host and the place is exactly like in your most vivid Tuscany dreams.:) It's not our first time here and we absolutely loved everything about the place. This villa was absolutely perfect for what I was hoping for. It was even better than the pictures, and the surroundings were beautiful. We loved the secluded feel of the villas, and the size of the villas was perfect for our group. Serena was super helpful and very flexible, so I can't recommend this place enough!

Casa ampia e isolata, forse per vivere al meglio l'esperienza è meglio sfruttare questo alloggio durante la bella stagione. Ideale per gruppi di massimo 16 persone (per raggiungere i 20 posti bisogna sfruttare due divano-letto). Host molto cordiale e disponibile. In generale sono molto soddisfatto del mio soggiorno, l'unica nota negativa sono i 100€/notte aggiuntivi per le spese di riscaldamento, avrei preferito pagare in base a quanto consumato effettivamente.

Superbe maison dans les vignes entourée de somptueux coteaux dans un incroyable cadre de carte postale. Parfait pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. L'emplacement est idéal pour rayonner entre Sienne, Florence et le Chianti ou se reposer en profitant de la piscine. Elisa, toujours à l'écoute, est très reactive et répondra quasiment sans délai.

Alessandro and Elisa were so kind and helpful. They prepared a delicious meal for our family. The vila was wonderful and the location, gorgeous! A magical place!

Kommunikation war problemlos und schnell möglich. Curio und Besitzer waren sehr found hilfsbereit. Tipps für lokale Restaurants und Ausflüge waren sehr gut. Unterkunft einfach zu finden. Gutes Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar. Lage mit tollen Ausblick, Weingut gleich gegenüber und per Auto oder zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer ordentlich und sauber. Anwesen sehr gepflegt und schön. Ausstattung sehr gut. Pool und Umgebung wurden täglich gereinigt… Waren rundum zufrieden
