This is a wonderful cottage. It is SO beautiful. One of the things that I liked most about it was how quiet and peaceful it was. I particularly noticed this one morning when my wife and I were having breakfast, looking across the picturesque view of the valley and landscape. As we watched a flock of birds pass by, probably 1000 yards away, we heard a soft slapping sound. We realized that we were hearing the birds flap their wings. From partway across the valley. At night, you could hear the leaves fall. It is amazing how at peace and calm you feel when there is no background noise. It was magical. The house was beautiful too. It looks exactly like the pictures. I hope we get to return someday. The one downside is that this rental is far from restaurants. If you want to go out to eat in the evenings, there are two pizza places in Guardea (about 10 minutes away) and one restaurant near the train station in Alvianio (about 20 min away). That's it. Other dining options are 30+ min away.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le logge dont les prestations sont vraiment de qualités. L’environnement est sublime, la vue exceptionnelle depuis le logge et depuis la piscine. Calme absolu, appartement très propre et bien équipé, à notre arrivée un panier de petit déjeuner était prévu, ainsi qu’une bouteille de prosecco. Très appréciables attentions après un long trajet. La région est magnifique et l’emplacement idéal pour visiter les principales villes aux alentours. En outre Andrea qui s’est occupée de nous a toujours été extrêmement réactive et enthousiaste. Nous recommandons vivement! Parfaitement adapté pour une famille.

Great condo, super quiet for getting a good night's sleep but just a block from the main Duomo plaza. lots of excellent restaurants very close, a wonderful place to stay with an attentive host. He answered my messages within minutes

Oystein's place in Bolsena is wonderful. Each of the 4 levels has been tastefully designed to be flexible to accommodate a range of sleeping options. Quality features throughout in a superb location. The house is clean and very comfortable with wonderful artwork. The large dining table was great for our family gathering. Wonderful views from the rooftop balcony, which, alongside the other 2 balconies give options for finding a colling breeze (and possibly also a warming spot in the sun in winter). Oystein is an organised and accommodating host who is quick to respond. it was a real pleasure to stay here in this amazing part of Italy.

Even more beautiful than the photos - this house is a dream. The scenery is unreal and waking up to such peaceful views is a gift in this life. The house itself is really nicely laid out with spacious rooms and bathrooms all set apart from each other for maximum privacy. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival. We were two families who spent 4 days here with 4 children and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner. The house had all we needed to make a large meal and the children were entertained running around in the yard and exploring outside. The host, Janusz, is friendly, communicative, and proactive. 10/10 this house was absolutely beautiful- an unforgettable Thanksgiving for all of us.

Wir waren Ende September für 8 Tage in der Unterkunft. Federica, die Lage, das Haus, die Anlage ums Haus waren einzigartig und sehr schön! Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Frederica ist ein tolle Gastgeberin und Probleme hat sie und ihr Mann zügig gelöst. Wir hatten kurz Probleme mit der Toilettenspülung, Warmwasserversorgung und Heizung-alle Themen wurden zeitnah behoben. Nahe der Unterkunft ist die Zugstation Orte, von dort fährt mehrmals ein Zug nach Rom, das kann ich nur empfehlen. Günstig, pünktlich (nicht wie die DB) und Rom ist eine Wucht! Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen und wir würden wieder buchen, falls es uns wieder in die Region verschlägt.

This a wonderful apartment. The location is perfect. Wonderful views from the terrace. Is has everything you need. Highly recommended.

A really peaceful and quiet place among olive trees, you are literally on top if everyone else. Montecchio is 2km away, you can get some basic groceries there, there's a pharmacy and a good restaurant. The road to the house is now covered in concrete, so you don't need to worry about renting an SUV to drive there. All the amenities are there, the kitchen is very well stacked, plenty of appliances and cookware. The pool is not large, but well maintained, a pool guy visits every few days. The house is also cool downstairs even during heatwaves as it's half underground, we didn't even need the AC (which is a ridiculous 15€/day, if you need it). The only downside is uncomfortable beds...
