Stayed here for 11 days while we did some scuba diving and sightseeing. Check in was easy with keyless locks, spacious two bedroom place, no complaints. We took advantage of the supplied coffee, sugar, salt etc and -since we bought groceries for almost all meals- we used the plates/pots/pans extensively. About 7 days in we did laundry at the downstairs laundry room. The home is 12-15 minute walk to the main pier (where our scuba company and grocery store are located). Taxis are super cheap ($1.50 per trip) and plentiful, so most of the time we just grabbed the next white toyota truck cabbie and got to Academy Bay Diving a bit early (cabs honk at you if they're available). We especially used cabs if we were hauling groceries. Rest of the time we just walked back and forth. You're not quite in the touristy area with all of the bars, shops, restaurants etc but we didn't really want that. Great experience and communication from Ursula from check in to check out, highly recommend.

Adrian was the perfect host and his apartment was exactly as pictured. Granted it is not walkable to downtown but there were many markets within walking distance; meat market, panaderia, grocery store, etc. When I return to Galapagos, I plan on booking this apartment again. We felt completely safe and taxi rides were $1.50 each way.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Marina. It is in a great location. Short walk to the pier, restaurants, and shops. Close to the grocery store. Great view from the roof deck. Walkable to Tortuga Bay. Celso and Andrea were both responsive and communication was easy via Whats App. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We felt at home. We also recommend the travel guides next door - Guiding Galapagos. They were very organized and provided masks and fins for excursions. They walked us to the pier and made sure we got where we needed to go. They even looked out for us when we weren't on one of their tours. You can rent an underwater camera from them too. We had a wonderful time!

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again. Thank you, Veronica and Javier.

Este lugar sin duda fue exactamente lo que esperaba. Todo fue perfecto, el lugar hermoso, con unas vistas espectaculares. Estaba equipado con todo lo necesario y todo muy organizado. El hijo de Ann se ocupó personalmente de que cada detalle fuera perfecto, incluso se ocupó de que el taxi llegara a recogerme. Me dio indicaciones claras, me recibió y me dio un tour por la propiedad y también estuvo pendiente de mi salida de forma amable. Si duda fue una excelente elección, de volver a Galapagos escogería un para de días de nuevo en este lugar para una experiencia relajante única. Gracias

Tatjana And Dustin A huge thankyou from Jan and I. We have had the most fabulous time here at Paloverde. The apartment was beautifully designed for comfort and convenience. The AC was a godsend in this hot season of February. The kitchen was filled with light, and so well equipped. We loved the balcony and its treetop views. Every single day has been exactly what we wanted to do and needed to do. Knowing you were only next door helped us relax and live here as if we were at home. Thanks for being on hand, and of course for the gorgeous yoghurt. We have left a few items in the fridge and a beer for Dustin. Unfortunately we had a mug breakage (we’ve left $10 dollars in the kitchen) . We are sad to go, and return to a fast changing world. Thank you again for everything. PS. We will miss the geckos, the yellow warblers, the rustle of the palm branches in the garden and the turquoise sea. John and Jan Beatty

salí de mi hogar en Chile para encontrar otro, nos sentimos muy bien en la casa Villa Bonita, la descripción de la casa es correcta y lo principal, aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones incluyendo living comedor, sin ellos no hubiésemos sobrevivido. Santa Cruz es caminable de extremo a extremo, la ubicación de la casa es muy buena. Mónica siempre atenta a todas las consultas, nos apoyo en muchas instancias, muy buena anfitriona. Galapagos fue la mejor aventura que hemos vivido como familia (4 integrantes). si o di hay que bucear o con snorkel para entender la magia de este paraíso.

Todo excelente ! El departamento es hermoso y amplio ! Tal cual como las fotos y mejor ! El check in fue muy rápido y nos ayudaron con el equipaje. Lo único que me faltó fue una tetera eléctrica o una olla para poder hervir agua. El departamento tenía te y café . Está a 15 min aprox caminando del malecón de Santa Cruz , y a 5 min en taxi y cobra $1.50

I had a wonderful trip with this house. The host was really kind and tried her best to help us. The location was really convenient to get anywhere in Island.
