If you’re looking for a beautiful place with a great view of the harbor this is the place. The plunge pool is fabulous! The kitchen is well stocked, the space is pristine and the surrounding mountain is beautiful. The driveway is a bit of a challenge (but shouldn’t be a deterrent at all!); we recommend a 4-wheel drive. Kavita was very helpful to us prior to our visit. Thank you again Kavita. We loved our stay with you!

Recommended! Pros: Clean! Lovely yard with soaking pool, large capacity washer and drier, soap and shampoo provided, parking; host left very clear instructions and was very responsive (e.g. we asked if they had snorkeling equipment, and they replied immediately - and the answer was yes!) Cons: Quite small; neighbourhood is one square block outside of town; some houses are well cared for (like this one!), but others are dilapidated To know: The living room and one bedroom have AC, these don't really cool the second bedroom, so we moved the standing fan in there and it was fine. I found the temperature light on the AC too bright for sleeping, and ended up turning it off in the middle of the night, but with a sleep mask it wouldn't have been an issue. Another review mentioned roosters in the morning - yes, roosters roam freely across the whole island, so no matter where you stay you'll want to use white noise or earplugs. There's a coffee pot, so bring coffee. Thank you!!

Maria's house was perfect for us. It is in a very quiet neighborhood (except for the roosters, but it's like that all over the island). I would, however, recommend renting a vehicle, because it's not in walking distance to anything other than a convenience store. But if you do get a car, it only takes about 8 minutes to drive to the ferry terminal, and about 10 minutes to get to Esperanza on the south side of the island. What I really liked about the house is that it was that it not only has solar panels, but it also has a whole-house battery backup system. It made me feel better about being on vacation in a net zero energy use home. My wife and I went with 5 girls, so the pool was a nice addition. Thanks, Maria!

An amazing stay for our 5th year anniversary! Bill and Michele were fabulous! Michele met us at the home and immediately made us feel like we were home! The home was immaculate and pristine. Never seen an Airbnb so spotless! Vieques has a ton of creepy crawlers, none here! No bugs!! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The king bed was sooo comfortable! Oh! Don’t let me forget… the toilet paper was probably 3ply!!! Amazing!! Lol!!We felt safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will be back for our 10th!! This house is even more beautiful than it looks. Feels like a tropical cottage out of Architectural Digest. Kitchen is beautiful and the backyard/pool area is amazing. Loved having snorkel gear and enjoying all the bird life and plans around the house. Hosts were awesome — so helpful with great reccos. We had fresh passion fruit from the vine by the pool! Would absolutely stay again.

Lili’s spot is amazing! Walking distance to Esperanza for restaurants and an oasis of beauty in the small town. We loved it! The pool was delightful and so private; we loved sitting outside and listening to the frogs ; the kids loved the hammock. It was one of our Airbnb favorites!

The host of the most breathtaking place we’ve ever stayed. As Puerto Ricans living in the diaspora, this home made us feel deeply connected to our roots and our island. Waking up to the lush green hills, the gentle Caribbean breeze, and the endless ocean views was simply magical. Every corner of the house is thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail that shows true care—from the colorful floor tiles at the entrance, to the perfectly placed chairs inviting you to sit, pause, and breathe in the beauty of Puerto Rico. This was arguably one of the best Airbnb’s my family and I have ever stayed at. The manager, Ron, greeted us upon our arrival and was a wonderful resource during our time on the island! The home itself is SO cool. The outdoor showers were amazing, as was the kitchen area equipped with everything you could possibly need! Everything from the coffee machine, to the beach gear, to the sound system, etc. were top quality! I’ve already shared the link for this listing with several of my friends looking for a family-friendly vacation spot! Thanks for making our trip a memorable one!

The view and tranquility of the property was amazing! We loved our stay and Gigi made sure we had ever needed. Beautiful place, incredible views and friendly staff. Couldn’t be happier!

The place is modern and very nice. Very private. Matt was helpful with a couple of issues. The water heater was not working for the first two days we were there which coincided with a holiday (things were closed). He got it fixed as soon as possible after the holiday. Entirely our fault - we did not latch the gate properly on our last night, and three horses got into the yard. I was very apologietic and offered to shovel the "evidence," but Matt said that his cleaner would take care of it. That was very kind, and he didn't have to do that. We learned the hard way that you can't leave food on the counter, even in Ziplock bags or closed with chip clips. We did this the first night, and in the morning there were tiny ants all over the counter. You also have to scrub the sink clean every time, as ants will swarm to any hint of food residue. Lesson: double check that the gate is latched properly and no food (even in bags) on the counter or in sink.

I recently stayed at Jeishly’s wonderful Airbnb in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and had an amazing experience. The property was cozy, clean, and well-located near beautiful beaches and local attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming! The house had everything we needed, including a lovely outdoor space to relax in. Loved the Hammock! Each room had its own tv so each kid could unwind from the busy days. The host has thought of everything. Vieques itself is a peaceful, picturesque island, and this Airbnb was the perfect base for exploring. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the island!

This is a perfect beach house for a multi family or multi generation vacation! The house has a rustic vibe with lots of outdoor space. Full laundry and kitchen - we were able to make a birthday cake! There are 4 showers but no tubs, and it’s tricky to get some of them to be hot. There were also 3 beach chairs, snorkels and fins, some life jackets, and separate pool towels, which made our trip extra amazing since Melones, a 5 min walk, is a great snorkeling spot! Adults could walk to town, with the small children we called taxi vans. Enrique was helpful and responsive, thanks!

Everything about the place was great. Perfect for big and combined families. The outdoor space was great.

Great experience! We really enjoyed our stay here. We walked around the restaurants and boardwalk area, did the biobay tour, black sand beach, sun bay beach and more. an awesome 24 hours with horses everywhere, roosters, dogs/cats and crabs all over. Only thing we missed was a fresh mango on the mango tree, just a couple weeks too early for those. This location is really convenient.

Fantastic stay with everything we needed! We weren’t really there a lot, but it was a great home base to go on many adventures. One thing to note is there are a lot of roosters that are natural alarm clocks 🐓

First of all, I cannot say enough about Rosana as a responsive host. It was like having a private advisor on call for our trip! At one point I jokingly asked her if she was a bot since she responded so quickly. She reached out to local contacts to help with reservations and info about open hours. She was truly amazing! Culebra is a blissful destination, and Roxana's house offered everything we needed to enjoy it. I loved the espresso maker! We made good use of the beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella daily, and she was nice enough to let us borrow them long past checkout time on our last day when we went to the beach before our late afternoon flight. Comfortable beds, great location (yes, Blac Flamingo across the street is AWESOME, but we loved being near D's Garden as well), and while not everyone would want to do the walk into town for dinner, we did it daily and it was about a mile. The extensive outdoor space was lovely and the property felt secure. A truly wonderful stay!

Hannah, the house manager, went above and beyond to come meet us at the rental car agency when we were having difficulty getting in our car. The outside area was nice and the kids loved the pool. The property was very private. One thing that came with that was pretty loud insect/bird/frog sounds after dark. I’m sure many people would enjoy that but it was a little intense for me. It shouldn’t stop you from staying here but something to be aware of!

I enjoy being away from busy touristy places. There is a pleasant beach just a few blocks away. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. The restaurants are also just about 10 min walk and there are several options. On the Sunday we were there there was a sidewalk shopping (not sure if this is always) on the boardwalk by the restaurants. Lots of friendly stray dogs and cats in the neighborhood - we were a little scared but all were friendly but we didn’t pet them. We even had an iguana knock on the front door one day, 😂

Bodde en uke i leiligheten som ligger i ett stille og rolig område med kjempehyggelige naboer. Gangavstand (ca 1,5 km) til sentrum. Vi hadde ikke leiebil, men brukte taxi når vi skulle på utflukter til andre siden av øya. Dette er ikke noe dyrere enn om en skulle leie bil. Dessuten så er taxisjåførene på øya hyggelige og veldig serviceorienterte, så du får masse informasjon om øya og steder en bør besøke. Mye av denne informasjonen hadde du ikke fått om du hadde kjørt rundt på egen hånd i leiebil. Leiligheten er godt utstyrt for strandliv og utflukter. Hvis jeg skulle reist tilbake til Vieques en gang i fremtiden, ville jeg absolutt prøvd å leie leiligheten til Janiela igjen. Kan virkelig anbefales.

Con mi familia tomamos la decisión a último minuto de quedarnos por la zona y Sofía tenía lista la casa, fue un gran plus porque estábamos cansados. Una casa agradable y camas cómodas era justo lo que buscábamos. Muchas gracias!

We had such a wonderful stay at Coconut Cay! The house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Photos are accurate, and check-in was easy. The pool/back patio area was our favorite place to hang out--how wonderful it was to see and hear the ocean all the time! We appreciated the cool and quiet A/C in the bedrooms, and loved the ocean breezes that flowed through the rest of the house. As others have mentioned, some of the fixtures show evidence of exposure to the salt, but hey, what do you expect from a house that's right on the beach? We loved our stay on Vieques at Coconut Cay, and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
