Beautiful stay in Cabo rojo, the beach at the door step was an unmatched experience. The room and home was larger than expected with ease of parking. Walkable to the grocery store and restaurants, but most do close around 9pm. Coffee shop near by that we drove to. The only thing to note is the bathroom is in the room and only private by a curtain, didn’t bother us as it added to the rustic feel, also the road is noisy but not intolerable. It was actually more noisy mid week than on weekends as a surprise to us. Waking up to ocean waves and taking a dip in the water was amazing. Sam’s attention was incredible too warning us when the ocean was too rough for swimming and coming by to hose down the property when the waves shifted patio furniture. We stayed with our 10 month old and it was so nice to have her in the pack and play while we were watching waves on the patio or even enjoying the sunset while she went down for the night. Highly recommend!

We had 2 families stay at the villa, it offered enough space for everyone to sleep and hang out. We loved the outdoor patio area, the green space was great for kids to play and conveniently located close to the pool and beach access. The villa is in a gated community and we felt very safe. We enjoyed the villa, the beautiful views, exploring the beach and surrounding beaches, and San Juan! Lilly was a wonderful host and was quick to respond if we needed anything. The garage has lots of chairs, coolers, and toys for the beach. Very convenient when you can’t bring it all with you!

We had a lovely relaxed weekend with 4 couples staying at Mari's "stilt house" in La Parguera. The house is built right over the water with the boat dock on the front of the house. The setting was beautiful and the sunrises and sunsets were magical - we were all mesmerized by the views and the flow of boats lazily passing by the house. Although there are 5 bedrooms, there are only 2 bathrooms and the sewer system is delicate so just be prepared if you have a larger group. The air conditioning ran great in all of the bedrooms, in fact we all were quite cold the first night until we figured out the optimum temperature. The walk on the wooden walkway from the dirt parking area to the house is quite long so I would definitely recommend a wagon or cart for transporting your groceries and gear - especially the ice and drinks. It's an easy 3-5 minute walk into the local small town. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and Mari was so kind and responsive!

We’ve stayed in short term rentals for many, many years and our stay here ranks in the top two. Not just because the home is spectacular with its own beach and every amenity but also because the host is an exceptional example of what Airbnb must wish every host is like. We felt like family rather than guests. We even felt protected like family when the area got a Tsunami warning and Carlos maintained constantly vigilant throughout the night until the all clear was sounded. Between the beauty of Cabo Rojo and the beauty of Carlos we could not be happier.

This is our second time staying here and already planning to come back. You, your home and back yard are so wonderful. We love the tide pools- saw starfish and spoon worm. The neighborhood is so kind and makes us feel like guest and not annoying tourist. Thanks for your continued hospitality.

Our stay with Carlos was absolutely magnificent! His communication was flawless from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and his hospitality truly made all the difference. One of the highlights of our stay was the special section he set up, where my partner and I could explore different cultural items from earlier years. It was such a thoughtful touch, and my girlfriend was incredibly impressed—she said it felt just like being back at her grandma’s house, which made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic and welcoming stay, this is the place! San Juan is wonderful but can be very touristy—this spot offers a homey, immersive experience on a side of the island that is breathtaking beyond words. I would recommend this over any other stay in Puerto Rico. Thank you, Carlos, for making our trip unforgettable.

Dan was very quick to respond, flexible with our checkin, and his neighbor Robert (who looks after the place) helped us reset the Wifi quickly when it went down during our stay. Very beautiful location right on the beach. We enjoyed using the available Kayaks in the ocean, and it's super easy to carry them right into the water out of the back yard. The kids loved the pool, and we used the grill (which came with a full propane tank). The house is a little dated, but well taken care of, and the highlight of our trip was seeing manatees swimming right behind the house as well as a sea turtle and an iguana! Had no idea those swam in the ocean! The food nearby is good, and the mountains + beach make for excellent scenery. Overall, great value stay on the beach in Puerto Rico.

Mi familia y yo lo pasamos espectacular, un lugar donde nunca te aburres, tiene mucho entretenimiento para todas las edades, canchas para jugar volley, basket, tenis, bicicletas, checkers gigante, mesa de pin pon, billar, BBQ, piscina, aire en todas sus habitaciones, 3 baños en los apartamentos y 2 afuera, juegos de mesa,lugar estaba super limpio, área bastante amplia para estacionarse, en fin todo espectacular para ir con un familión y pasarlo super. Esperamos volver 😉 😍

This home was such an amazing base for enjoying the island. Best night of sleep I’ve ever had in an Airbnb with the wind blowing through the windows and the sounds of water below. It is also a very unique structure/over the water and a special place to enjoy culebra from. You will either need to rent a car or golf cart to stay here, or walk/hitchhike into town which is what we did. A lot of walking but also interesting to see culebra from that perspective.

Our stay at Hacienda brisas del lago was a great getaway for the whole family. It is a big house, everything was very clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were very comfortable and spotless. We were able to use the kayaks, the lake and neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Even during the summer heat, there is plenty of wind which makes it a very nice temperature and at night we were able to use the jacuzzi. So grateful to Ada for renting us her place and her hospitality and prompt responses! Would definitely go back.

Our family of 4 (kids 9 and 11) had a wonderful 2 night stay here! The views are beyond phenomenal! It was one of our favorite airbnb experiences we have ever had! We took advantage of the available kayaks and went out to the Cayos for snorkeling. I will say that this place is definitely for the more adventurous traveler, not for someone looking for a Hilton. The listing is accurate and points out things that may turn some people away. The stairs are no joke! We counted 91 from parking to the main living area and the height of each step as well as the handrail, varies along the way. We managed 3-4 trips each way carrying all of our stuff up and down and survived. When you get to the top it is so worth it! No a/c, and no screens, so bugs were a real problem for us. We are covered in mosquito bites! But the listing warns of this. We chose to all stay on the same level for security reasons with kids. Overall a wonderful adventure but a/c in rooms would be a total game-changer!

Wonderful place. Boogy boards, paddle boards and canoes and a reef that keeps the waves perfect for boogy boading and body surfing. Bring your kite sail. Enjoy the sound of the waves. You'll love it.

Casa Carite no solo es un lugar para desconectarte del mundo y conectarte contigo mismo solamente. Este lugar encierra una magia especial con una energía y ambiente que da los mejores espacios y ambiente para conectar con tu alma y ser superior si lo estas buscando. Perfecto para los que practicamos la meditación y la introspección. No podemos esperar a regresar y continuar disfrutando de tan especial lugar que ahora consideramos "hogar lejos de casa". Gracias!

Amazing beachfront cabin! Outside the house, it’s like 10 steps to the sand and 20 to the ocean. Very well worth it, highly recommended! We will continue to stay in these cabins whenever we want to do a beach escapade in the future.

I was airbnb superhost in past, this place has been built in a super genius way, you walk around, you see that the owner Pedro who has own the property for 20 yrs has put simple innovations with wood, tiny lights, everything come together to make it as an art, piece of mind, relaxation, enjoyment, price is decent, If you travelling, bring fishing hook, as they mention, bring everything you go for camping, I brought my hammock, food, bread, breakfast items, cooking oil, tea, caffe, rice cooker, meat for bbq, and ..... The best part of the stay is your neighbor all around you and you feel like being in a movie with everyone staying friendly with family, couples, kids, pets all around yourself.....

Like I always say, This is the best place ever to reconnect with me and nature. My favorite place for ever

Como siempre, Casa Carite, en especial Alberta es mi espacio de conexión conmigo misma. Es como la 10 vez que los visito y cada vez me enamoro mas de mi casa de campo. Digo mi casa porque ya la siento mía y de mis 4 patas. Recomendado 100%

Casa Carite is a great place to stay in couple and families. You can do a Kaya ride in the lake for free at your own risk but they have a lifeguards and good equipped . A good place to cook something fresh like fish’s if you do fishing.

Antonio's place is a little paradise in a fishing village. the rest of the area is not great looking, but there are great fresh fish and lobster shops super close. the apt is super clean and so are the grounds around his place. You are right on the water surrounded by mangroves and docks. Lots of birds calling. One negative for me were the biting insects that left me with welts, but my husband didn't have this issue. Bug spray would have prevented this. Well worth the price because of location.

Me he quedado varias veces en el lugar. Es estupendo. Me encanta quedarme allí, disfrutar de su playa y de los alrededores. Las cabañas están siendo remozadas y se ven mucho mejor.
