The house is directly on the beach and within a few blocks of beachfront restaurants. A short walk to small food stores and many tour companies. The House Agent is from the hotel across the street. She was very helpful with Everything including transportation. A young sealion did come on to the porch and take a nap on the floor next to my lounge chair. A travel note. The ferry from Santa Cruz can be a 2.5 hour long rough ride. The small plane flight from Isabela's nice airport to Baltra is well worth the $155/pp. I will defiantly recommend your home to everyone. It was one of the highlights of our visit.

Great place, very comfortable and handily near the dock, but also easy to walk into the town and to other places like the beach and la concha de perla (which is great for snorkelling). Although we didn't meet Tamara, her communication was excellent and she provided us with lots of very helpful information and instructions for how to get there and what to do.

Me sentí como en casa, amigable, silencioso el entorno, Isabela es tan pequeño que llegas caminando a todo lugar sinceramente califico 10/10!

We had a great stay at Byron’s place (Hotel La Isla). It is very conveniently located, with the beach, shops and restaurants all within walkable distance. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach front where you’ll find some lovely bars and restaurants. Byron was extremely responsive and was on hand for whatever we needed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned daily with bedding and towels also replaced every day. The shower has shower gel and shampoo provided. Be very careful not to leave food out in your room as this tends to attract a lot of ants, but this is the case across everywhere we stayed in the Galápagos Islands. Also something to note, every night of our stay we were woken in the night by a very loud rooster from around 5am and he goes on for a while! However as the accommodations in galapagos don’t tend to be double glazed well I reckon this rooster would be heard anywhere in the area. Overall great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

The best place to stay in Isabela! My girlfriend and I were SOOO happy with this modern, comfortable, and clean studio apartment. We stayed for over a week and could not imagine staying anywhere else. We felt completely at home. Also great wifi, hot water, and filtered drinking water from the tap! Not to mention that Emilie and Junior were super friendly and helped us navigate the island, find food, book tours and rent equipment. But the most important thing is that when I was literally already ON the ferry, leaving the island at 6am and suddenly realized I had left my passport IN the apartment, I was able to call Emilie and she drove it down to the dock just in time to get it to the captain right before he boarded the ferry. It would have been an absolute nightmare of missed flights if not for her and I'm forever grateful!

We had an outstanding stay! Our host was very helpful and flexible. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay on Isla Isabela.

I loved my stay at Mariana's. The pretty little room overlooking the sea and the setting suns is so peaceful, so pleasant, so clean and quiet that I didn't want to leave. You feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. All the accommodation is well thought out, with access to the kitchen and pleasant patio. Just a few minutes' walk from the port or city center, it's ideally located. Mariana and Ingrid were perfect hosts: friendly, smiling, responsive and helpful. I only have one wish: to return quickly and stay longer.
