Virginia’s house really was like a second home away from home. It is beautifully looked after, decorated and smells so lovely from the flowers and with how clean it was. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, as was the bathroom and laundry. The bedrooms are cozy, comfortable and warm. It was a great place to stay. Queens Park is a childhood favourite place of mine so being able to visit everyday was incredible. Thank you Virginia

It’s a paradise for us 5 cowgirl-wanna-be. This stunning and comfortable house is with lots of space for everyone. The full kitchen is a plus for everyone enjoys home cooking with nice knifes, sufficient pots and lots of herbs. Though we didn’t travel with pets, it is heartwarming to see the dog bed and bowls in the house.

By far the best bnb experience of all my travels in NZ. Perfectly situated between Mossburn and Lumsden, Brookhaven Cottage provides the perfect base for everything Southland. From it’s position on the southern section of the ‘Around the Mountains Cycling Trail’, to the scenic Fiordland National Park attractions and it’s close proximity to several of the finest trout rivers in NZ, the Brookhaven Cottage location is simply perfect. Lynda and Nigel’s generous welcome, hospitality, advice and perfectly presented bnb - suitable for solo, family or small group stays is so very highly recommended.

We were so impressed with Pura Vida by the Sea. Deborah’s lovely home is at the top of our list, as it was wonderfully clean, comfortable and cosy. We noticed the special touches and attention to detail - even an apron supplied in the kitchen! We only stayed two nights and would have loved longer. Beds are extremely comfortable, decor is lovely and the view of the bay is glorious! A very quiet home and handy to the beach walkway. We did not get around to using the outdoor bath but it looked very inviting! We highly recommend staying in this home.

Lovely, quiet place to stay in Lumsden. Duncan communicates well. Well equipped kitchen. Everything I needed was there. A great place to stay.

Fantastic. Great location, lovely cottage, great host. We’ve travelled through the north and south islands and this is the best accommodation we’ve had. Great shower, good bed, fully equipped kitchen and a full laundry. Would love to stay again.

Great location, peaceful and lovely settings

Sara was truly amazing! Our accommodation changed at the tenth hour and Sara was able to help immediately. It’s a really funky house and we were very comfortable. We might have left a lot of crackers for the next people by accident! THANK YOU!!

Place was awesome, highly recommend. If you are looking for the best shower of your entire life and this is the place for you I will sit in bed at night dreaming of another chance to put my body into the shower because nothing in the world compares to how amazing it was. Never felt more clean in my life. Also, the house was really really nice. Thanks, Bonnie.
