Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

A perfect place for our needs...comfortable beds, good appliances, big shower with nice products. The tasteful decor makes you feel right at home. Reefton is an interesting little town (within walking distance)with an appealing and quaint high street. Being situated on a river is an added attraction. I'd highly recommend a stay at Steven's place.

We only stayed here for one night on our journey up the coast, but it was easy to find, very quiet and a spacious apartment. We walked to Pancake rock (which was interesting) then walked the Pororari river track, which was good and not crowded. The people in the information centre were very helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go on the beach but it looked nice.

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

Fun place to stay in the trees surrounded by nature. Wonderfully appointed place, we had everything we needed. Helpful instructions to know to bring provisions and plan to eat in for dinner. Easy to get around the kitchen. Also loved the directions to the Truman track. A stunning beach! Lovely hide-away in the bush!

Had a great stay here, even though it was just for one night. It is very peaceful and with lovely view onto the golf course. Although it is near the 14th hole, it is quite a distance away, so you can only really see the golfers in the distance behind trees, so actually very private. It’s a very nice and short walk to the beach with lovely fine sand and lots of interesting driftwood.

It was awesome to see the glow worms. We liked seeing chickens, ducks, and the peacock.

Robert’s place is great for a getaway to explore the west coast of the South Island. It has everything you need. The views are stunning and the place is very quiet and peaceful. The house was sparkling clean and everything worked to perfection. Robert is a great host and we can highly recommend his place.

One of the nicest Air B&Bs I’ve ever stayed in, Noeleen is such a lovely host. House is nice and close to town with a large deck and plenty of amenities. Thanks Noeleen

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Refugium, sehr privat und voller schöner Dinge zum entdecken. Hier können sich alle - von Groß bis Klein - wohlfühlen. Es hat uns allen viel Spaß gemacht, z.B. die Glühwürmchenhöhle zu entdecken, während eines Bades im Pool die Sterne zu beobachten oder am Bach nach Gold zu schürfen und die Flusskrebse zu beobachten. Unser Highlight war eine persönliche Führung durch den Wald auf den Pfaden der früheren Goldsucher und zur Goldmine. Wir zum Land und zur Geschichte sowie der Natur viel gelernt. Fran und Grant waren tolle Gastgeber. Ebenfalls können wir den Tip zum Besuch der Carew Falls absolut weiterempfehlen. Der Weg ist einfach und der Wasserfall sowie die Aussicht sind unglaublich lohnenswert.

The house is brand new and huge. There were only two of us, but I can see how great it would be for a large family. The location is perfect for Hokitika and the accommodation was very clean and quiet. Great base to explore the surrounding areas!

Suntrap indeed! Followed it from sunrise til sunset on different decks. Comfy beds. Gorgeous bathroom. Big back yard. Easy walk into town. Love the ‘vintage/ retro’ bits and bobs. Great host
