We had a lovely stay at Casa Bonita, wonderful space and features, well equipped, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the outside eating area and terraces, once the weather improved. It was our first visit to Olhao and the eastern algarve. The Casa is within easy walking distance to the superb fish and fresh produce markets, ferries, restaurants and bars. We caught the ferry to Armona once and Farol twice and ate at the hosts recommended places, particularly loved the beach bar Maramais. We hired bikes from Cool Bike rentals and cycled the path to Fuseta and back, really enjoyed cycling through the salt pans and seeing all the bird life and wildflowers. Definitely hope to return.

Norbert war pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit an der Unterkunft. Er zeigte uns alles und anschließend machte er mit uns noch eine Rundfahrten durch Olhão und zeigte uns die wichtigsten Punkte. Total nett! Das Haus ist zweckmäßig, traditionel eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Highlight. Danke für den Aufenthalt Norbert.

Had a fantastic stay. Was a great welcome by Isabel and was super easy check in and out. It was a perfect location to the main street with a brilliant selection of beautiful restaurants and shops. The home was lovely, really homely and had everything you need. We loved the rooftop view it was nice and private also. It's perfect location to everything with lots to do with the trips to the islands and Train station was just a few minutes walk away spent the day going to different places like Tavira & Monte Gordo and many more. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future

Muy bien la casa en general, tal cual lo que se ve en las fotos, muy bien equipado y limpio. La única pega sería las camas supletorias del salón que no se descansa bien pero por lo demás estupenda. La parte de la piscina increíble.

Ontzettend leuk huis die je meteen this laat voelen. Wij (gezin met twee kinderen) pasten ruim. Een slaapkamer met dubbelbed bereik je via de patio. Verhuurder twijfelde of dat geschikt was voor onze kinderen. Maar was echt prima. Je moet een halve meter door de buitenlucht en dat was voor onze kinderen (6 en 9) ook ‘s nachts prima te doen als ze naar het toilet moesten. Dakterras is fijn. Zeker met mooi weer. Wij waren er eind oktober. Ook toen nog veel restaurants open. Met veerbootje kom je nog naar het (strand)eiland. Verrassend gezellige sfeer in het dorp, zeker niet verlaten. Bankbakkertjes in het dorp hele dag vol. Leuk om je dag daar te beginnen. Emmanuelle zelf niet gezien, maar goed contact gehad en ze was erg flexibel richting ons. We hopen er nog een keer terug te komen!

We had a lovely time staying here. The rooftop patio in the morning was a favorite. The three bathrooms was very convenient and the kitchen was well stocked. It is beautiful, authentic, and in a great location. I would note that all bathrooms are downstairs with the bedrooms and the living room/kitchen are upstairs. It was a little challenging for my 75 year-old mother. Wasn’t an issue for me or my daughter at all. Otherwise everything was just as advertised!

Wir haben mit Karijn und Brian wunderbare, sympathische und hilfsbereite GastgeberInnen kennengelernt und fühlten uns sofort sehr willkommen. In dem sehr schönen Haus Raminhas, sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, mit einem großen Grundstück und sehr schön ange- legtem Garten nahe der beiden Häuser, haben wir uns gut erholt und unsere zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Wir sagen Danke an Karijn und Brian und kommen sehr gern wieder!

We would definitely stay again if allowed. It was a bit difficult to find on the first pass but Fernando arranged for someone to look out for us and show us in. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the town was lovely and walkable! Stay here if you are able!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Das schöne Wetter ermöglichte es, jeden Morgen auf der traumhaften Terrasse zu frühstücken. Das Bett ist für uns prima, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Der Grill für den Fisch steht auf der Terrasse. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank Paula

El sitio espectacular, cerca de la playa y cerca de zonas de hostería (Bajo Guía y La plaza del Cabildo). Además cuenta con aparcamiento propio. Repetiré.

Adorámos a estadia. Desde tudo impecávelmente limpo organizado até à simpatia do João e da Silvia. A piscina óptima. Uma experiência a repetir sem dúvida. Excelente.

As other guests have mentioned, you are staying in a real home, not a place outfitted for short-term rentals. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, with a large fridge and ample cupboard space. Gabriela instructed us on restaurants and grocery shopping. The comfort of the apartment proved especially welcome, as we had a number of rainy cool days at the beginning of our stay, so remaining indoors was not a hardship. There is a large living room and dining area, the bedrooms are large and spacious, there is heating in each bedroom and the living room, there are throw rugs on the floor for warmth against the cool tiles, there are bedside tables and lights on both sides of each bed, and the terrace is large with spectacular views of Tavira. The steps up from the road to get to the neighborhood were a nonissue for us—they are easily manageable. We rented a car for a few days and there was a parking spot for us. There are no downsides to Gabriela’s beautiful unit.

Great check in with Bruno who showed us around, he runs the cafe round the corner (Kais Cafe), very good snacks and drinks. The apartment was massive with everything you needed, lovely private terrace and amazing views from the roof terrace. Close to some lovely restaurants and the beach, everything within walking distance. We did not meet Isidoro, but he was very helpful and even offered us use of the bikes in the garage 😄

Wonderful location, easy walk to restaurants and the river walk, street parking was easily findable (April), hosts met us upon check in and provided all relevant info, and, our favourite, a neat little cafe right outside the back door. Highly recommend!

A beautiful apartment in stunning Olhau! We really enjoyed our time in this ultra comfortable apartment close to the lovely old town in Olhau. There is nothing this property is lacking! We will be back at the first opportunity!

Fantastic place and a great base for exploring the Algarve. The marina is a couple of minutes walk and has a few bars and restaurants . The old town is a five minute walk, which has loads of restaurants and places to eat, bakeries for your fresh De Nata. Take a short boat ride to the islands of Armona and Culatra, which has breathtakingly beautiful beaches and a really cool beach bar ran by two of the happiest people I’ve ever met. Boats costs us around €14 return (2 adults, 2 kids 11 & 8) and takes 30-40 minutes, well worth it. To get around just Uber, it’s very cheap! Taxi to Faro around €9 and Vilamoura €20.

This place was modern, super clean and a great location. Excellent restaurants close by. The host was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely stay here again!

a very clean, apartment in a smart block on the edge of town. overlooking the harbour, on a main road but quiet at night. 2 minutes walk to a very clean launderette and well stocked supermarket. Apartment was spacious and well equipped and furnished. As per the description, everything was within a 10-15 minute flat walk from the apartment. a nice balcony which caught the morning sun and overlooked the harbour. We were welcomed by Rui who took the time to explain where places were, including a 5 minute walk to the ferry to the island. The apartment was very secure with good locks on all external doors, there was also an enclosed balcony at the rear where laundry could be aired. all in all a great apartment in a pleasant town . would certainly return.

Alojamiento en perfectas condiciones, muy limpio, bien equipada de electrodomésticos y las camas una maravilla. El residencial precioso y muy tranquilo. Sin duda volveremos a repetir. El trato con el anfitrión muy bueno también, responden rápido. Las indicaciones concretas, útiles y rápidas.

Wir waren fast 3 Monate bei Joana zu Gast. In der gemütlichen Wohnung lässt es sich auch bei etwas schlechterem Wetter gut aushalten. Es gibt viele kleine, liebevolle Details incl. dezenter Weihnachtsdeko und einem weihnachtlichen Geschenk zum Genuss. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Trotz der zwei Kochstellen haben wir sehr oft gekocht. Es geht also. Wir haben diese helle, freundliche Wohnung mit dem sonnigen Balkon genossen. In der Nähe (2 Gehminuten) gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine Bar mit wunderbarem Service. Der Weg zu Fuss nach Tavira dauert ca. 25 Minuten, aber für diese nette Stadt mit den vielen ausgezeichneten Restaurants lohnte sich jeder einzelne Schritt. Eine tolle Wohnung, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt, mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin in einer wirklich schönen Stadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La descripción coincide plenamente con lo que nos encontramos, al apartamento no le falta de nada, todo muy limpio, las camas muy cómodas. Muy buena zona con restaurantes y supermercados a 5 minutos caminando. El acceso a la playa a pocos minutos andando por zona peatonal frente a la salida de la urbanización. Sin duda volveremos.
