Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

We had a great stay at tiny beach house, the whole place was just beautiful, and we saw many animals like a sloth or hummingbird. The communication with Lynch was great, he was very open and supportive, I will definitely come back!

We had a great stay here! The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a great place to relax for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee.

The cabin was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The location was quiet and secluded, yet still just a short drive to town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of things to note: sound travels easily through the wood walls, and like any cabin in nature, some bugs can find their way in—but that’s to be expected. Also, if you’re coming from a hot area like Tamarindo, be prepared for cooler and wetter weather. We weren’t expecting such a temperature drop, so we recommend bringing pants, sweatshirts, and rain jackets. Finding the cabin was easy during the day, but it could be tricky at night. The art jaguar nearby was a great landmark to look for. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Loved our stay! Make sure you know before you go that there is no hot water! We boiled water and it used washcloths so it was fine but this was something we didn’t know. There are tons of ants and the cracks don’t seal in the doors so use the mosquito nets. We had THE BEST massage from Paolo’s organization and I highly recommend that! One day we came back and there was animal poop in the sink because the kitchen is outside haha 😆 all part of the jungle experience!

Beautiful tree house cabin. Stunning view and comfortable beds. Loved spending time and eating dinner on the deck. Also tons of amazing wildlife, there were 2 toucans that visited us everyday. Definitely would recommend this place! :)

We truly enjoyed our time at David’s treehouse. It’s not only beautifully located, but also spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and simply a very special place.David is a fantastic host – always available, incredibly thoughtful and kind. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and visited many places – but this one is different. This one is special.The closeness to nature is absolutely incredible: the beautiful garden and all the animals – hummingbirds, parrots, coatis, monkeys, and even deer walking by – you sit on the terrace and feel like you're in the middle of a nature documentary. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, observe, and just be present.There were also so many little details that made our stay special: soft bathrobes, thoughtful touches throughout the house, and wonderful human moments. We came here to relax – and we really did. And that means a lot. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, David. We really hope to come back someday.

This home is an absolute gem! The location is breathtaking—secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to town. It’s the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. The views are simply spectacular, making every morning and evening a treat. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, so dining out is easy and enjoyable. The host is fantastic—communication was seamless, and they provided so many helpful recommendations that made our stay even better. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with all the conveniences of town just a short drive away, this is the place. Highly recommend and would love to return!

We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a home! It really felt like a “get away” vacation: surrounded by the natural beauty of Costa Rica, trees, wildlife, views of the ocean… Pura Vida! I was joined by my husband and three kids ages 6, 7, and 9. We were all able to disconnect and enjoy the start of an unforgettable vacation. We all loved going on the porch to search for monkeys, relax in the pool after a day of adventuring, and having access to a washer/dryer was such a great perk after all of the activities. Certainly looking forward to staying here again.

OMG! Simply stunning. Beautiful modern and immaculate treehouse surrounded by nature. We saw Coatis in the garden and a sloth in forrest track which is part of the garden. We woke on the first morning and from our bed opened the electric blinds to the most stunning view. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Andreas was an excellent host and responded almost immediately every time we asked a question. A must is to visit San Lucas treetop restaurant. Book well in advance! Food is Michelin star quality and the concept is outstanding. I cannot recommend this treehouse highly enough. I only wish we had booked more than two nights. Thank you Andreas for making it a special stay.

Une nuit très agréable passée dans cette maison dans l'arbre. Le logement est très propre et dispose de tout le matériel nécessaire. Nous avons été bercés par le bruit des vagues et des animaux. Le logement est très bien situé, à 2 minutes à pied de la plage. Restaurants et supérettes à proximité. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander ce logement.

Most beautiful view from an AirBNB that I have ever experienced! I would definitely stay here again! Monteverde is gorgeous and I could sit on that gorgeous balcony all day long ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Chloe’s treehouse. The kitchen the stocked with fresh/local fruit, coffee, milk and some welcome drinks (which we so appreciated!). The treehouse is absolutely beautiful, and has everything you need to make you feel at home. The plunge pool is so nice and we used it often to cool off. Chloe’s restaurant recommendations were great, and she would message us and let us know if there was anything extra going on (monkeys to see, turtles on the beach). We would definitely stay here again!

The place is so beautiful and great location. We stayed only one night because there was a problem with the electricity, but they handled it very well and were super nice. I would love to stay there another time!

Absolutely spectacular in every way! The suite was light and airy, incredible views, stunning architecture. Peaceful surroundings. Joe and Susannah are real gems and we truly loved getting to know them (and the dogs and cat). The food was exceptional. Lots to do in Drake Bay: we barely scratched the surface after being there for 4 nights. We would absolutely stay there again.

This Airbnb was beautiful, the outdoor bathroom and patio deck area were my absolute favorite. Well equipped with everything you would need to feel cozy and right at home. It is important to note the roads getting to this Airbnb are difficult to drive, it's all dirt road, very steep and lots of potholes. Definitely need a 4x4 car. If you want to be close to Santa Teresa town this Airbnb is not exactly close to Playa Santa Teresa like the listing says. It took me over a 20 minute drive to get into the town of Santa Teresa for food and the beach there but it is close to playa hermosa. Just something to keep in mind when booking I thought it was closer to the main town but it's not. The hosts were great and very helpful.

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

OHhouse was the perfect place for our first (but not last) Costa Rican vacation! It was exactly what we hoped to find - a place that felt connected to nature. It was so beautiful we didn't want to leave! The attention to design and details were amazing. We loved that we were close to Tamarindo, but staying away from the hustle and bustle. Gladys had a lot of great recommendations. Loved every second of our stay and hope to come back soon!

Nice secluded spot up on the mountain, good location if you’re looking for a true off grid experience. Very accurate to the listing, and the message sent of warnings of it being a jungle experience with bugs and a hike to get to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trying to lug a suitcase or a lot of goods up to the treehouse. We did a river hike from the base camp with waterfalls and swimming pools that was the highlight of our two week trip. It’s an interesting place you’d be hard pressed to match elsewhere. Only negatives aren’t on the host or the property, if members of your group struggle with terrain they may have difficulty reaching the house. A decent 4x4 is also required to climb the hill as others have noted. We did see monkeys, snakes, and a ton of different birds. I would recommend to any adventure seekers.
