Annie was an amazingly friendly and approachable host. She recommended some lovely ealking routes for us to explore the area and a womderful local pub. We will most definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting peace and quiet to escape busy daily life.

What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

We had a lovely stay at Mike’s cottage in Corfe Castle - the location is charming and the cottage itself is delightful, clean and cosy. It is well equipped, in spite of the compact size, and Mike was a helpful and responsive host with our queries. A tip for anyone also interested in the shepherd’s hut - maybe check first with the host if it is available, as in practice this would need a separate booking.

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! We had a wonderful stay, Paul was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking and helped to recommend different pubs for our dinner along with activities that were local. The house itself was wonderful, it had everything we wanted and more. The location of the house is in the new forest and very tranquil. We are hoping to return later this year for a stay with the children.

Beautiful rural getaway!! Chloe was so helpful with making sure the hot tub was ready for the evenings, the shepherds hut was a perfect escape for us as a couple, with beautiful views, privacy and a very cute lodging with everything we needed. The furnishings and details in the shepherds hut were so lovely and made a very small space feel like a cosy home. Super easy to find and enjoyed a couple of nice walks in the area. Will book again!

Had an amazing weekend away with my partner staying in the Shepard’s hut we had some nice walks in the woods 🌳that are right next to the hut we seen some deer 🦌 a buzzard some fish a owl and lots of horses 🐴 The outside shower was a lovely addition and was very hot the local restaurant were really nice we had a Lovely time in the evenings next to the fire 🔥 relaxing with a few bottles of wine 🍷 enjoying the peace and quiet and looking at the stars ⭐️ The hut was very clean and the bed was very comfortable also there was a massive amount of firewood so we never need to ask for more thanks for a lovely weekend away

We had the best stay. We regularly make the trip down to the new forest and to stay in a shepherds hut like Holly’s, just made it for us. The hut was spotless, very spacious and very cosy. Settled right behind the Old Mill pub which does the most delicious food. Holly’s communication was second to none. She even decorated the hut for valentines upon my request which was a gorgeous touch so thank you so much for doing that. Holly sent very clear and easy to follow instructions when finding the hut and always kept in touch before arriving and told us she’d be on the end of the phone if we needed her at all during her stay, we arrived super late for check in so wasn’t able to meet holly in person. I would highly recommend staying in Holly’s hut and we will 1000% be back, we’re already planning our next stay! Thank you again!x

We had a really lovely stay in the sunset shepherds hut. It was so nice to get away from it all, lovely and peaceful at the orchard. Some stars peaking through the clouds and a sunset which was lovely to see from the hot tub. Very cosy with the fire going in the hut. Our hosts gave us a bottle of their home brewed perfect vision cider which was lovely. Katherine was really friendly and helpful during our stay, thank you very much, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day. We tried the local pub the fox and hound which was very nice, and had some lovely walks around Cattistock, we also drove into Durdle door which took just under 40 minutes but was beautiful.

We stayed in Kevin’s wagon on his farm which is a perfect little getaway. Kevin was a great host very friendly and helpful he brought us a full English breakfast with loads of tea and coffee which was delicious! The bed was so comfortable best night sleep ever! We loved the location looking over the bay and seeing the peacock and chickens roam around freely! Will definatly recommend! Thanks Kevin

Where to start!! Jayne was an amazing host. From the moment you arrive at the blue hut, to leaving. You felt completely relaxed and happy. Jayne had left some bubbles, marshmallows and biscuits to make s’mores which was 10/10. My boyfriend and I loved the stay! All the amenities you could ask for from the hot tub to the bbq, farm shop down the road and the amazing views. The bed was so comfortable and the shower/ bathroom was spotless! We would both really recommend Jayne and the stay at the blue hut! Thank you Jayne!

The accommodation was all that we had hoped for, quiet and relaxing. We found the location very easily as the instructions were clear and detailed. The quality of the Shepherds Hut was excellent, and the wood fired hot tub was amazing. Emma was a lovely host, and everyone we met were very friendly. For those who still need internet access whilst they are away even when relaxing, the speed around 20mbps and signal good quality, and more than sufficient anyone’s needs. Highly recommend.

We stayed here on our visit to Lulworth cove for a trail race on the weekend. The shepherd's hut had underfloor heating which was great. Convenient parking right outside the hut too. Close by to good local pubs as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Such a lovely hut, great views to the countryside, very clean, amazing private garden to let the dogs free. I will totally repeat and definitely recommend to others. 🩷

Had the most enjoyable chilled two days at Jo’s place. Jo really was the hostess with the mostess and made my two dogs and I feel very much at home. A beautiful setting, lovely garden and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it! We will be back again! Thanks Jo x

This little hut is exactly as described - a beautiful location, in a quiet part of the New Forest. Amanda was a very responsive host, helpful with instructions and even preheating the hot tub prior to our arrival, making it so much more relaxing. Thank you for an amazing stay, Amanda!

We had the most wonderful stay in the shepherds hut in February .The hut was warm and welcoming with all the amenities we needed. Our dog had plenty of room in the garden. We would definitely recommend.

The Shepherds hut was SUCH high quality inside and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. There was much more space than we imagined and our 2 dogs were very comfortable too. The weather was cold but the hut has radiators and a woody burning stove, so was lovely and warm. The hut has its own private garden with fabulous views. Our hosts were so welcoming and had lots of recommendations for places to go/eat in the local area. Really recommend this place.
