This was a great place for a weekend with friends and family to hang out by the water. There was a decent amount of cleaning we had to do at check out that was required despite the cleaning fee. Other than that, the place was beautiful and Evan was very responsive and accommodating which we really appreciated. I would absolutely stay again!

Our family loved our stay at Heather's sweet house. Everything was thoughtfully picked out and both beautiful and comfortable. The house worked perfectly to have a couple of families and kids for dinner and playing on the water - the kitchen is huge, there's a grill outside, a large table and counter seating inside, and a fire pit for s'mores after dinner. It was nice the backyard was large and fenced for the kids when the adults were cooking. The paddle boat was super fun for the kids, and it was nice being on a quiet canal so the kids could go up and down and we didn't have to worry about much boat traffic. It feels very remote, but a full size grocery store is 13 minutes away and it's not far from Dallas. Perfect getaway weekend- we'll be back!

My family loved our stay at the farmhouse! Very peaceful, and lots of open space to relax and even say hi to the cows next door. The bunk bed room is great if traveling with kids. House was clean, and host was responsive to any questions we had. It’s a great location, near yummy food: Cafe Homestead and Red Wagon BBQ, and short drive into Waco if you’re planning to see all things Magnolia-related. Beds were comfy, and big kitchen space and living room area.

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the peaceful surroundings and several amenities offered! Feeling right at home, everything we could possibly need was in reach! We grilled, fished, canoed, went on walks, enjoyed the local BBQ and generally had an awesome time! The entire family had many compliments on our time spent together relaxing in this lovely home. Highly recommend this host and this location!

Heather’s place was as described. Huge back yard with patio, lakefront and amenities. Kitchen was stocked and many beds to accommodate. Only downside was the neighbor had 4 dogs which didnt allow my pets to roam freely Highly recommended and would stay again

Wonderful home, welcoming host! We really enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s lake house. We arrived Wednesday and left Sunday- we wish we would’ve stayed one more day. The house was incredibly clean. Brand new pots and pans. Clean bedding, floors- the place was spotless. The bathrooms are clean and modern- great water pressure. Kathryn called us prior to our arrival to answer any questions. She was welcoming and kind. I also texted her while we were there, and she responded immediately. The house has a beautiful dock- it was a nice place to fish. The backyard is huge- we brought our dog. We had tons of room to play. We all slept good. The beds are comfy. We enjoyed the screened in porch when it got windy. My son also loved the foosball table. The only negative was the neighbor had a crew working on his dock. We didn’t love the noise from their music/construction, but it was still a great trip. We would definitely stay here again. It was at the top end of our budget but 100% worth it!
