The whole group really enjoyed our stay on Crystal Lake. The house was perfect for our needs and we loved the lake, fire pit, the griddle, and kids swing. Definitely recommend Michael’s lake house.

Awesome place right on the water. We came for a fishing trip and the dock and boat ramp next door made it super convenient. Ramp is dirt but we had no trouble with our bass boat. Would definitely come back.

We had a great experience and will book again when we are in the Traditional Bowhunters State Championship tournament. Along with being in great location for the tournament we enjoyed kayaking during the day and fishing. This is a very peaceful relaxing place to stay! Host was wonderful and place was even more than we expected! Thank you so much 😊

Natascha and Dave were extremely helpful describing the wonderful places along the Saint Johns River. The accommodations were one of the best we have experienced. Also, very helpful with providing information on boating and fishing and the best scenery in the area.

Dori was a great host! She was very proactive giving me information and ensuring my trip was the best possible. Several accommodations and amenities that were not expected. We definitely will be adding this as a favorite and hope to stay again our next trip down to that area!

A group of us come to ONF annually for a weekend Jeep trip and this is the 1st time staying at Faye’s place. It was absolutely perfect for us! Loved the uniqueness of the place. We are already planning our trip for next year and plan on renting Faye’s place again.

Very nice, very clean. The town was super quiet but it was lovely. Lake is just a couple blocks to walk with a nice dock and pavilion close by. Would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place, Bala’s place is the one to pick. Bala was very responsive, the place itself was amazing! Perfect getaway. Not to mention, its only a 30 minute from Downtown St. Augustine. Will be booking again in the future!

Connecting with this place was like winning the airbnb jackpot. It was an absolute treasure! I was only there for one night as a traveling stop but wish I 'd stayed so much longer! The lake and property are stunningly beautiful, magical, and peaceful. Lesley and Steve couldn't be nicer, and they put so many thoughtful touches into the rental. You can tell how much they enjoy hosting and care about their guests. I deeply enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake from the dock and enjoying my morning coffee with the birds. I also loved writing in the screened in porch. I wasn't there long enough to kayak but look forward to doing so, and exploring Melrose, next time. The place was cozy; the bed was comfy. It far exceeded my expectations for the price! Meeting Stella and Booties was such a wonderful bonus and the nature blessed property is beyond gorgeous and relaxing. It felt like a mini retreat! I could not recommend booking here more - just give yourself time to enjoy it!

Very quiet little place. It was super clean. The pics show a lot of the St. Johns river, but this is not waterfront. There is a place very close (1.5 miles) called Renegades with a working boat ramp, great restaurant, marina, and live music.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is your place. The windows in this Old Florida Home were exceptional, the shady trees with a view to the lake had me wishing those days wouldn't end. My kids played endlessly, ran around the yard, played board games and had us caring less if there was any service at all. We kayaked, fished (although we never caught anything) made fires and cooked outdoors. What a time to live, thank you Gi for all the great things that come along with a comfy stay at your place. This was our second stay this year so this time it was like coming home to the lake. We fished off the dock, grilled and enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could possibly need for cooking and grilling. I’m a walker and feel perfectly safe walking the neighborhood by myself (my husband is the griller, not a walker!). We had dinner at the Yearling our first night there to celebrate our anniversary! We can’t wait to go back! So grateful to have this beautiful home away from home to enjoy peace, tranquility and serenity.

The captains cottage was a perfect place for our family, it exceeded expectations, the lake was beautiful, there were bikes and a paddle boat we used almost every day. There was wildlife galore in the lake. The local restaurants were top notch. This was exactly the peaceful, quiet place and neighborhood we were looking for.

Charlene was an excellent host with very quick response times! Check in was a breeze. The home itself was very clean, organized and so roomy! We had a group of 7 and could have comfortably fit many more. We all felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and we enjoyed cups of coffee on the huge porch every morning while looking out at the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. Only 20-30 mins from local restaurants and stores. Will certainly stay here again as this place has so much to offer for an affordable price. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!
