Leslie’s unit was perfect for our little getaway! Well stocked with all the goodies and essentials! Loved the fireplace in the library - super cool and glad we got to see Ridgefeild in quintessential New England winter weather!

We had a great stay in Newburgh. The area felt really safe and was close to some nice restaurants we liked! We loved being able to charge our EV there it was a huge help. Very grateful to Sarah for getting back with us quickly about the snow and sending someone to shovel the entire driveway! That was so thoughtful! Only downside we could think of is that it is easy to hear your neighbors in the building. I got used to it with our sound machine, but my husband is more sensitive. Other than that everything was great 👍🏻

They were super hospitable, friendly, and gave great recommendations for spots nearby.

Excellent experience. Everything was as expected. Host was super responsive and nice. I enjoyed every bit of my stay. The only clause is the non-flexibilty in the check-in and check-out time. Some other places let guests check in from 12 pm, contingent on whether the house has been tidied up. Overall, it's a 5-star rating.

Anna's Airbnb was the perfect place to take a weekend away from the city. My fiancé and I stayed two nights and wish we had stayed another; the property is gorgeous in the winter, the hosts were friendly, and the space extremely cozy. We also met a super friendly cat named Bogey that lives on the property. Zero complaints here, we would definitely stay again!

Very spacious place. We loved the layout of the place, was nice and warm, and a great location too. Tons of small restaurants to check out, and the scenery by the water is beautiful too. We were up in Newburgh for a work trip and headed down to Mount Peter’s Ski Area after checking out. Will definitely be staying here again when we come upstate :)

This was my 4th time staying with Kim, when ever we are in the area, I always look to book her locations they are always perfect for our needs and amazing locations. It’s almost hard to believe Lake Waccabuc is only 1 hr north of NYC! My family had a wonderful stay! It was not easy leaving. Thank you Patrick! Once you arrive here, you will NOT want to leave! A true gem. You will feel like you’re in Maine! The house is set in the woods surrounded by hemlocks and pine trees, with a perfect view of the lake! We saw bald eagles, swans, and blue herons. Loved the morning light and fog-listening to the songs of the birds and watching the sunset on the lake. Our family loved fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! The house is set on 4 acres- a fun and safe area to cycle, and take long walks. Close to Ridgefield, CT, Katonah and Bedford -only 15 min away! Patrick always responded to my questions within minutes and Jay, the house manager went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect!!!! My boys already have asked if we can come back and rent again! 🙏

A perfect stay for our family of four for a fall weekend out of the city. Loved everything about the property and home. Absolutely stunning surroundings and the house had everything we need. Can't wait to come back!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the house. The house is beautiful and was extremely clean when we arrived. Luiz kindly left a sled for my kids to use in the yard. There is plenty of outdoor space and the yard has a good deal of privacy. There are two bedrooms and a den/office with a TV. The kitchen has everything we needed. Luiz was very easy to communicate with.

We had a great stay with our 1 year old and two dogs while looking for homes in the area. The hosts have very detailed instructions and local recommendations and were happy to message about more tailored recommendations as well. I had inquired about a later checkout because of our daughter’s nap schedule and the hosts were flexible and accommodating. Everything is very thoughtful in their home, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds, linens, bath products and (life changing?) Toto toilets! We visited in the dead of winter, and I’m sure it’s even more beautiful when it’s warmer and greener. One note if you have littles or new walkers - there are a couple of concrete steps in the living spaces on the first floor, so we had to keep a very close eye on our 1 year old. Not a ding at all, just a note if you’re booking with little ones.

Our stay was wonderful! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly nice, flexible, and very accommodating, especially with our late checkout, which made our trip much easier. Communication was smooth, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a stress-free stay!

This was the second Red Cottage property I visited with a large group, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The home was beautifully maintained, well-stocked, and perfectly suited for a group getaway. Communication with the host was seamless, and check-in was easy. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Looking forward to booking another Red Cottage stay in the future!

Jon is a real gentleman and easy to get along with. Always responded to questions fast. Loved the wide river and the great home.
