The description of the home was exactly what we experienced. It was very peaceful. And in a naturally beautiful area. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Several of us just came back from a quick overnight trip to Brookfield, and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in this area of CT. The bottom floor was recently renovated, so the place is really well laid out with plenty of amenities. There is enough to do on property to keep a group of people entertained for a weekend stay if you plan on sticking around the house. The location is incredible, situated in a little nook right on the water with a ton of privacy and a huge backyard. And definitely reach out to Flory in advance as she plenty of recommendations for things to do and where to eat while you're in town. You will have no regrets if you book this place.

Andy's place was impeccably clean and well-appointed. I cook most of my meals while traveling and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (oils, spices, soy sauce, vinegar) and all the necessary cookware (including containers & wrap to store leftovers & prepped food items). It was the type of Airbnb that felt more like visiting the home of a friend who had thoughtfully considered anything you might need. (including detergent for laundry & toiletries). This was refreshing in light of many Airbnb's feeling more like a Residence Inn, than a home. As a bonus, Andy has excellent taste in books and I wished my stay was longer so I could have read some of what was on the shelves.

The loft is exactly as advertised; right on the Hudson with beautiful views, near some great restaurants and fully stocked with anything you could need. It felt like being home. Very cozy. Cari is awesome and makes the check in super easy. She was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and very proactive in giving local tips and how to get to the loft and even where to get great views! Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future when we’re the area! Enjoy a tea or a coffee on the balcony in the morning as the sun comes up! Thanks Cari!

Stayed here for 12 nights and loved it all! We quickly felt right at home. Such a great area too. Both the morning and evening views were great. Sunsets definitely did not disappoint! And so many deer nearby! One evening we went for a walk and counted almost 75 !! Enjoyed the full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfy bed and great tv ! Thank you so much 😊

Very spacious place. We loved the layout of the place, was nice and warm, and a great location too. Tons of small restaurants to check out, and the scenery by the water is beautiful too. We were up in Newburgh for a work trip and headed down to Mount Peter’s Ski Area after checking out. Will definitely be staying here again when we come upstate :)

We couldn’t have picked a better home to spend Thanksgiving in! The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, modern, and comfortable, with the most stunning, private views of the lake. Waking up to those breathtaking views every morning made our holiday extra special. Malik was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating every step of the way, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful stay at Gaby's home. Unlike many Airbnb hosts who design their spaces to feel like generic hotels, Gaby’s place radiated warmth, personality, and charm. It felt like a home that had been truly lived in and loved, with thoughtful, personal touches like family photos, unique art, and an impressive collection of books that added so much character. Gaby herself was an incredible host—always responsive, friendly, and approachable. She’s the kind of person I'd love to sit down and chat with. The setting was absolutely stunning. We had snow, the lake was frozen, and the wintry view was really peaceful. The abundance of wildlife made it even more special—we spotted deer, bald eagles, a couple of foxes who visited every morning, and even a bobcat prancing around the house one evening. We also love to cook, and Gaby’s kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to play chef If you’re looking for an authentic and unforgettable Airbnb experience

great spot on a hill in a neat town. there are a few great restaurants within walking distance. view of Mahopac lake which gets busy at times quiet at others. downside very small access point for kayak only. there is a boat rental place right there if you wanted to rent a party boat. we visited NYC by car without issue about 1hr drive in. I found an amazing bike path "rail trail " passes right through the little center also. overallgreat place. very comfortable house. record player and views set the mood for a special stay!

Paula’s place was beautiful! We loved the quick responses, great communication, and easy check in. The winters views of the lake were great and the restaurant recommendations were a great touch. Highly recommend and would love to come back in the summer time!

We talked my Pop into his first vk in 10 years. He’s 85 now and doesn’t like to leave the comforts of his home. He also has no idea what an Airbnb is. So this will be a review from his quotes : “Oh so it’s a house?” “This is a really nice kitchen”. “They keep it clean. It feels like a hotel”. “ “I love this en-suite” “I love they let dogs here. I get to be with my grandson” ( grandson= our golden doodle). “This fridge is smarter than me” (it beeps if you leave it open). “Huh. This is so close to everything. That makes everything so easy”.
