Ryan and Jake were very helpful, responsive hosts and Eureka was a stunning location to spend a week on Hornby Island. The gorgeous sunsets and tranquil ocean were a joy to watch from the expansive deck and hot tub. The cabin was well stocked and clean and we felt immediately comfortable and at home. It would be great to have access to a dryer in order to dry our bathing suits and beach towels/blankets when the weather isn't hot enough to do it naturally - but that would be our only critique. We hope to book it again next summer!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. Gwen and Chris were by far the most helpful of any hosts we have had. Gwen gave us lots of ideas for activities and actually delivered fresh seafood for us several times. Chris transported their kayaks to a local lake for us (and came back to retrieve them later). They both went above above and beyond. We hope to return to this beautiful area, and we would definitely stay in this this home again.

We love the Bowser area and this is our 3rd time specifically neighbourhood. Our visit was planned around this year's herring spawn and it didn't disappoint. Day 1 we caught a beautiful active spawn in NW Bay on March 13th after having lunch at the Rusted Rake and taking the scenic drive around Nanoose Bay. We also scored a few other viewings of smaller spawns in Qualicum over the weekend. It was an extra bonus going to see the take over of a portion of the Deep Bay marina by the numerous sea lions in the area for the herring feast. What a noisy bunch of visitors! but great fun to watch. Steph's place is also a short drive away from downtown Courtney where we went to the Saturday market and enjoyed a wonderful lunch in town after visiting Goose Spit park in Comox. We love the area and the peaceful retreat. Wonderful hosts and a great place. Thank you for having us!

Heather's place was really beautiful and exactly as pictured. The view is really wonderful and the house is quiet and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations spacious. We made several meals and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was close to the water, a local cidery, and local hikes/walks.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! It was perfect for getting a group together (super spacious!) and the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, two decks, gorgeous bathrooms and stunning views made it truly unforgettable. Honestly, the pictures didn't do it justice, it felt bigger and more beautiful inside. Would recommend completely and would love to go back some day!

We had a great stay at Ping Ping’s place. It is rustic as advertised, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was bigger than expected. Two bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, two living/sitting rooms, a dining area and full kitchen. We had lots of space for a family of four! The location is private and the dock and kayaks were a bonus. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was great. There were also nice bonuses like Keurig coffee pods. We recommend Ping Ping’s place very highly!

What a tranquil and beautiful place! Tara created a welcoming space with plenty of ways for our family to relax and enjoy one another’s company. But the place is big, and there are lots of places to escape for a little alone time as well. Tara was responsive whenever we needed anything, and took care to make sure we were comfortable.

This is a fantastic quaint little beach cottage to enjoy the island's natural beauty. Easy access to fun on the water. The family really enjoyed the lawn sports items the hosts provided. Thank you!

Place is great, really tucked away in the dense trees, up a load of stairs from the car parking spot on the road below. Exactly like the descriptions and exactly what we were looking for. Has some really cute touches. And beautiful little bridges over the creek. Barely a 1 min walk over the road to the little local beach. It’s older and showing it a bit in places, but great.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We lived all the unique art & furnishings. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed and the sitting area was light filled with a great view! We will definitely rebook!!

Gail’s cottage was an incredibly warm and welcoming place to stay. She is thoughtful about every part of the cottage with lovely decor, comfortable bedding, and a very clean space. The incredible beach was just a short walk away. She was so friendly and responsive to all my questions, I can’t wait to come back!

We stayed 3 nights in Colin's cabine. it was the last days of our honeymoon. It was absolutly perfect! We loved our stay. We loved the cabine. It’s not that rustic. The bed, the sheets, the towels, the dishes are new. The cabine is in between the woods and the sea. the view is spectacular. We saw many animals. It’s calm and lovely. The town and the restaurants are at 15 min by car. You can relax, walk, reflect and enjoy life. Last but not least, Colin is really nice, reactive and helpful. He seems to be a really good person. I had an amazing stay. If you’re looking for a genuine and cute glamping experience then this place is perfect. The property is lovely, the sites are private and the amenities make you feel like you’re camping in comfort. I loved the camping style with the foot pump water and propane stove, so make sure you’re up for it. I slept the nights with the frame open and had no issues with bugs, and got the chance to have a lovely campfire and hang with the local brown Hares. It was a great place to step away for a while:)

Second time here. Loved it. Feasted on oysters and clams. Rob and Josephine are lovely, welcomed us with hugs. :)

Very pleasant stay. Close enough to everything and far enough away to enjoy the stars and quiet. Loved having the trails literally in the backyard for a morning walk with the dog.

We had the most incredible experience at this stunning lakeside Airbnb. The house is beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views from every room, especially from the hot tub – perfect for relaxing while watching the sunset over the water. The home was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from cozy furnishings to well-equipped kitchen amenities. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home. What truly set this stay apart was the host. Michael was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this gorgeous property for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway
