Cozy and private. The hot tub was great and Josh and Sam were great hosts.

Reef point cottages were adorable and a great little romantic getaway. We loved our private hottub on our porch and the setup. Situated walking distance to town, this was a great spot and we’d definitely come back!

It was such a chill and cozy spot. The only hiccup we had was with the neighbors. There were five of us just hanging out in the hot tub, chatting and laughing, with the music on at a VERY reasonable volume on a SATURDAY night. Apparently, that was too loud for them, and they even threatened to call the cops! But honestly, the staff handled it great, and it didn’t put a damper on our weekend at all. Besides that, everything went smoothly, and I really enjoyed my time there.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and private and the hot tub was a relaxing addition. Had everything we needed and the welcome basket was useful! We both really loved being surrounded by nature and hearing the birds and creek. Would recommend a capable vehicle as the driveway is not paved and is quite steep in some spots!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

Deb and Hugh’s guesthouse was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed the layout with the bedrooms, laundry and access to the hot tub downstairs and the open kitchen and living room. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, and had other kitchen essentials like plastic wrap and parchment paper. The beds were super comfortable, with lots of linens and even bathrobes for the hot tub. There was even a bike locking station and wash outside, definitely nice touches. We had a very comfortable and wonderful stay - and hope to be back!

We spent a great weekend here. All info was clearly communicated, we found everything matched the listing. There’s a park right next door, which makes for great people watching :) Beautiful location, had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay! Bonus points that we didn’t have a million asks of things to do when checking out. Made it a very relaxing time.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. The layout was awesome. Large open kitchen and living room space then separated bedrooms for privacy. Every room had a lovely view of the ocean. The deck was fabulous with a hot tub, fire pit, sitting areas and a great BBQ. Plus there was direct beach access. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. We made several meals at the house. Both bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were fabulous. The heated floors were a treat. Lastly, the location was perfect. It was close to Madeira Park (IGA, Bargain Barn, Harbour publishing books).

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Christi and Jason's carriage house was the perfect getaway. It had all the necessary amenities and more. Only a 5 minute walk down to the main hub/water where there are great restaurants, local shops, coffee and ice cream. The view from the patio was amazing and it was very quiet and private. I highly recommend their place to anyone looking to spend a few nights in Gibsons. Especially if you're bringing your pup!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Don’s peaceful cabin. The surroundings are absolutely serene, in all seasons, and the cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer months! The hosts are responsive and very kind. Highly recommend.

Louise's cottage is so sweet and warm and inviting. She had so many thoughtful touches and amenities like battery operated candles everywhere, tons of pillows and throw blankets, and fresh local milk. It was a tough strange to have to go through a bedroom to the bathroom but we never had any issues with it. It was a very private and homey space with everything we needed and more :).

We had a great time staying in Julia's lovely island getaway, so much so that we extended our stay by a few days last minute. The home is spacious and has a great open layout with natural light that made it a joy to relax in through the rainy winter days. A perfect oasis of calm with everything you need; comfortable beds, great kitchen, and of course that amazing bathtub to relax in! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Julia!

We had an amazing stay in this Airbnb ! One of the best we have ever had. Everything mentioned was available, and even more. We felt very well treated and the place was very clean. The view, the beautiful bedrooms, the bathtub and the space altogether were just incredible. We will visit again for sure and we 200% recommend this Airbnb !

We had a wonderful time at Bridal Alley in Cumberland. The cottage was well-equipped, comfortable and cute. It had a historical vibe but with modern appliances and conveniences. We appreciated that you are dog-friendly and we were happily surprised to find that we were walkable to the local dog park, which happens to be fully fenced with lots of room to run. We tried Rider's Pizza which was outstanding and walked to get our morning coffee at The Grind everyday. We would definitely come back. Hopefully Love's Ice Cream will be open the next time we are in town and hopefully your cottage will be available!

We Loved our stay! House is beautiful and excellent location to explore all the sites. Lots of local tips provided by the owners too! Highly recommend!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean and our son enjoyed the loft bedroom. The grounds were well kept with private parking and we felt right at home. We would be happy to come and visit again on our next trip!

This was our first time staying at Cozy Cottage but not our first time staying in the Welcome Woods/Sargeant Bay area. From the minute we walked into the cottage we knew we’d made a good choice! Cozy Cottage is quiet and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, perfect for two people who like to make their own meals. It’s a 20 minute walk to the beach at Sargeant Bay and, from there, there is access to many forest trails. The neighbourhood store is also nearby, about a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back!

Jon was flexible with our situation, we are locals to the street and had to do a restoration at our house. Worked with our budget and welcomed our dog! The house was perfect for our 2.5 month stay. Well stocked kitchen, cozy towels and ample space. Beds are a little hard for our liking but we made it work. Thanks again Jon! Would suggest to anyone needing long term and would be great for short term as well.

Family of 4 had a great stay. Kids were happy with the second bedroom. The private docks offer us easy access to the water for kayaking. We were amazed with every little details where perfectly turquoise colour matched down to the pot handles 😃 Highly recommended!🙂

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

Excellent place, gracious hosts. Beautiful beach house right near Trevor Beach Park and also the highway, five minutes or less to get into Parksville and there are lots of restaurants in and among the various resorts. Many thoughtful touches, including books and board games and even a small Christmas tree, highly recommended.
