We were charmed by the comfortable design of Kimberly’s place. Great a/c, fully functional kitchen, lots of extras (water, snacks, oil, seasonings, coffee, tea, creamers, etc). Spacious for the two of us, this is a small apartment, with kitchen, LR with table, bedroom and bathroom. Everything is like new. We initially had some problems with the WiFi, but Kimberly and her husband kept working on it until we found a solution. Excellent communication! Close bike ride to town, beach, restaurants in walking distance, beautiful spot.

We had a very positive experience. The apartment’s rooms were clean and comfortable, and it always seemed sunny and nice. Most furnishings felt relatively new and fresh, and they even had a baby gate for our toddler. The downtown area is very walkable from the apartment, and there is a nice cafe right across the street. We didn’t require much contact with the hosts, but they promptly responded to the few messages we sent. We’d definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

The online photos honestly don’t convey how wonderful this place is. Pristine kitchen and bath, private back patio, fluffy new towels, robes in the closet and the kitchen has everything. The location could not be more convenient for walking in town and Katie’s book of restaurants and things to do was spot on. We will definitely be back.

The Eastern Shore is full of wonderful places to stay and visit, but this spot is at the top of the list. While I was mostly visiting friends and family in nearby Easton, this was by far more affordable than any hotel stay in that area, with much better amenities. Quiet and peaceful with pristine surroundings. I would be happy to stay here again.

What a great stay! My daughter and I had a volleyball tournament at nearby Washington College so the location was amazing, 3 minutes door to door. The house is cute, steep narrow steps but Asli warned us ahead of time. Beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen and bathroom full of supplies. Extra pellet heater was amazing! Walkable to downtown and we enjoyed the Saturday morning farmers market and short walk to the water to watch crew teams practice.

Curtis was a wonderful host -- super responsive when we had questions, made certain we arrived safely and securely, had the house spotless on arrival and really took care to make us as comfortable as possible. Sleeping was a dream -- new mattresses and the freshest linens. Rock Hall is lovely, quiet bayside town for a real getaway, and an easy drive to other spots on the Eastern Shore.

Lovely stay! In a prime area in downtown historic Chestertown, walkable to local spots and the Saturday farmer’s market. Check-in was seamless, and the place was easy to find. Greatly appreciated the weekly stay discount, as I will definitely be booking Matthew’s place again for future work trips. Plenty of little touches that made my stay perfect! Other hosts should take note—a Brita water pitcher in the fridge goes a LONG way!!!

If you are staying in the area, Cindy’s place is absolutely the place. Cindy is a friendly, gracious host who lives nearby, is willing to chat, but is not the least bit intrusive. The house is as clean as could be, beautifully furnished, comfortable, excellent bedding and linens. It is decorated with some of Cindy’s beautiful quilts — she is far too modest about them, they are lovely. I hope to stay there again!

As others have said, beautiful and spacious house with stunning views on the water! The house was clean, kitchen filled with all the tools for cooking (even things like wax paper, aluminum foil, all the spices you could think of, etc.), and we loved the ping pong table in the garage. The grounds were super peaceful and fun to walk around. We came in November so the pool was covered, but it was great to go out on the dock and kayak on the water. Not sure if it was the cold or not, but on some of the doors, the deadbolt was a little sticky and difficult to turn, so we just avoided these doors throughout our stay. We would love to come back in the summer time/when the weather is warmer to enjoy the pool! Also very much appreciated that we could bring our dog.

We had an awesome relaxing time at this house. Our 3 kids enjoyed it and felt at peace. The atmosphere was on point, this was the perfect place to disconnect from busy lifestyle. The town is quiet but we still enjoyed a couple of restaurants and ice cream shop. This house made our trip 100% recommend.
